Bright Horizons Milton Park Day Nursery and Preschool

Arrived at the nursery to pick up my son to be greeted by a very nice helpful lady, she asked me who was I looking for and she immediately went and found the person I asked for. The security seems pretty good, you can’t just walk in off the street which is a rather comforting thought as they have people’s precious little ones inside. Went inside the building with a member of staff, they have a nice reception area with the different rooms going to either side of the building, arrived in the room where my son spends his time to find him and all the other little children sleeping peacefully on a mat, which was very cute. I know my son absolutely loves his key worker which is fantastic and he always gets fed very well indeed. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone who needs childcare, lovely little place.

I find the Milton Park nursery a safe and secure environment for my child. There is an extensive food menu for my son to try and enjoy healthy alternatives. He is developing well as a child through a variety of learning and activities that he experiences at the nursery. The staff are very attentive and he has a great relationship with them.

Both my daughters attend Milton park, one in 2-3's and one in preschool. They absolutely love their time at nursery, they learn new skills every day and they are always excited to tell me what they have been doing. The staff are wonderful and always go out of their way to make sure my daughter's individual needs are catered for. It is clear my daughter in preschool is going to be more than ready for school when she starts next year, and that's thanks to all the hard work the preschool team put in to ensure the children are leaving nursery as competent learners ready for their next adventure. I owe a lot to this nursery and would recommend Milton park to my closest of friends.

I was very nervous about leaving my little girl at nursery. She's always been quite clingy but from her very first visit, she LOVED it. She has just moved up to toddlers and I am so incredibly grateful to the staff in the baby room, my daughter picked up a strong bond with her key person that she still has now, they made me feel at ease when dropping my daughter off and I love hearing about her day when I pick her up. She is clearly very happy at nursery and that makes me so happy. I appreciate everything the staff do for my daughter and I know she loves it there too!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery, in fact, I already have!

The quality of care provided at the nursery has been deteriorating steadily over the last few years. There is a high turnover of staff which I feel severely negatively impacts the sense of responsibility for the development of a child and feedback received at the end of the day. My child is now in pre-school and I feel that there is a lack of structure and planning for the day. However, I must add that I have felt the difference a stable and dedicated staff can make to a child’s progress. When we have had the opportunity to interact with the same person on most days at drop off and pick up, the feedback quality and child’s progress and general happiness has been fantastic. Shame that in our association with the nursery this experience has been scarce.

My daughter joined the nursery just before she turned 1 in October 2017 and since this time she has grown and developed vastly! I am also wowed when hearing about what she has done each day and it is wonderful to hear about all the amazing activities and experiences she has undertaken. My daughter loves to learn and the nursery really nurtures this.

The staff are fantastic! My daughter has been blessed with incredible keyworkers and has also developed wonderful relationships with each member of staff in both rooms she has been in.

Management always make themselves visible, are welcoming, and very responsive. The nursery just seems to get better and better!

My daughter has really flourished and is learning a lot and I can't recommend this nursery enough!

My daughter has been so happy at the nursery since starting in babies at 8 months she has been in every age group now and has thrived throughout the staff have always been so friendly and very well experienced and are always on hand to give extra advice and care. Would highly recommend the nursery

My daughter has loved it at the nursery the staff are always very helpful and friendly and go out of their way to ensure she is happy and striving and her progress she is making us amazing.

Our son makes a progress. He is quite attached to particular staff members but he doesn't like to go with other staff members. To be honest this nursery is suffering from permanent staff availability. The nursery is not helpful if parents need an additional session for kids. I always complain about toilet cleanliness. They are not cleaned. There are plenty things which can be improved when you are paying such a lot of money for the nursery.

The staff are incredibly friendly and professional and go over and above to accommodate the children, making them feel welcome and at home. They give a detailed report on the children's daily activities and development and they always provide a varied programme each day. We have very consistent contact with my son's key worker but the other girls working in his class are equally as consistent and knowledgeable about how he has been each day and he has bonded with them all extremely well. The purpose built spacious facilities give the children the space they need to explore and let off steam; my son always comes home happy and absolutely exhausted! Queries are always answered by management very quickly and efficiently and we receive a weekly newsletter with next week's menus, activities, staff availability and latest news. The nursery encourages family involvement and holds various occasions during the year where families can visit and feel involved.

Very happy with service Milton Park provides, my daughter settled quite quickly and staff understand the importance of her treatment whilst in their care, my daughter is always happy to be dropped off and even happier to be picked up at the end of the day. She is very connected to her key person and enjoys the activities they do each day.

Staff are always very happy, polite and professional. My children have very strong bonds with their key workers and they have always made me feel comfortable and confident to leave them. They are always going the ext mile with supporting my children's learning at nursery and at home.

I am very pleased to know about my daughters day and what she's been up to whilst being looked after at Milton Park by reading her communication books. She really enjoys being at nursery, staff are very friendly and approachable too.

My child is at Milton Park Nursery. I am very happy with my decision to place him there. Staff are great. Very nice, approachable, professional. They give daily report about activities, food etc. Even how your child has felt during the day. Rooms are adequately equipped. Meals have got a nice variety and dietary requirements are discussed and accommodated.

I have two children in this nursery. The oldest is in preschool and my youngest is 20 months. Both rooms are great and the staff seem to know my children well.

My oldest has multiple food allergies and this has been handled well by the regular staff members.
