Food seems to be variate, only downside is they don't include follow on infant formula (the 1 is included). On the care, even though each kid has a key carer, we see different members of staff looking after our son every day or depending on the time, this is not a problem since they are all really nice and committed but this means we don't always have the chance to address the same person. Especially for young babies we feel it would be better if someone would be really fully dedicated and on them until they are able to move with minimum risk.
Price is high but you get a complete service and opening hours.
My son has flourished in the nursery, mostly due to his key worker, but also due to the nature of the space and activities that the staff set up and support. He enjoys playing with his friends and especially playing outside.
The staff including the manager have been outstanding especially with understanding my son's health problems. My son enjoys it and always look forward to going to nursery. He always has a smile on his face and continues to learn so many different things which are a significant part of his life. Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone as they are not only hardworking but jovial fun friendly and affable.
Thank you all at the Rosehill Co-op nursery.
The whole team always gives their best to provide a safe, warm and exciting environment for the children to play and explore. Our child (14 months) loves going to this nursery and obviously feels safe and sound there. We are happy that our child is in such a warm and friendly place while we are at work and we would recommend this nursery without concerns.
My child is very happy at this nursery and enjoys the variety of activities open to him.
The food that is available to my son is excellent and varied; I always know he is offered a full range of food which is carefully nutritionally balanced.
A wonderful nursery where not just my daughter's key worker but other staff in her room know her very well. They have not only tended to her individual likes and needs but also helped her develop at her pace in all areas. Since going to nursery, she has become so much more interested and confident in mobilising independently, feeding herself, interacting with babies, toddlers and adults alike, babbling with different sounds and joining in all the fun and play. It has really drawn her out of her shell and she has really blossomed as a little person in her own right.
The staff there are all very encouraging and know how to draw out and develop new skills and learning as they come and feedback to us so we can continue this at home. Our daughter really enjoys it there and is always happy and smiling when she sees the staff as I drop her off in the mornings.
I found the nursery very charming, it's clean and organised and play areas very well presented. I especially liked the large garden and different things to do, the staff are all helpful, friendly, accommodating and I also find communication and being kept informed to be very efficient :)
Our boys have been attending nursery since they were one and it is their home away from home. We have all thrived under the love and support provided by the Rose Hill team. If you are reading this then just come and visit yourself. You will know.
Staff listen to your requests and help you wherever possible.
Lovely, caring nursery where daughter is very well looked after and care is very personalised. Real family feeling and lovely space with enclosed garden area and lots of room for children to play. Great food and a great cook! My daughter has been in full time care since age 10 months and is really thriving.
We've had nothing but good experiences from Rose Hill. I have twins who go three days a week and the levels of care are great. The staff are friendly and conscientious. My children love going there. I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending it.
The Co-op nursery at Rose Hill has been great for my daughter. Caring, supportive (of me and her!) and able to guide us through and reassure during a turbulent few months of her getting used to being separated from me. I couldn't have asked for a better team nor better resources - the garden and the catering are both particularly appreciated by my daughter. After 2+ years at Rose Hill my daughter is now a considerably more confident little girl with friends she looks forward to seeing each day and a range of skills that will serve her well for primary school!
Really excellent nursery with great staff. My daughter is 11 months old and loves going to nursery. The programme there is really great, with clear and achievable development goals. The communication with parents is very thorough and useful and the food selection and quality is brilliant.
I have nothing but praise for the staff. They are enthusiastic, hard working & have a great rapport with the children.
They are happy to do as you ask as regards food etc.
I am very happy with her care.
My partner and I are very happy with the care and kindness shown at this nursery. Both our children have attended and been looked after well, fed well, and cuddled well too. We've also been very happy with the preparation for entering school, by doing some basic number and letter work while still keeping it fun. As a result our eldest entered school in September with no difficulties in making the transition. She already had quite a bit of basic knowledge already under her belt to make the change to school easy and painless.
Very good nursery. At a time of need, they were there for us, very understanding, and highly competent. Certainly, we got very lucky to secure an excellent key person for our son, but all the rest of the staff has left a very good impression as well. They surely give children time and space to grow and develop, and help them on the way instead of forcing them into expectations they cannot fulfill yet. Our son has been there for a year now, from 3 to 4 years of age, and I can highly recommend the nursery and the preschool room. The whole nursery concept seems to be well thought through, with good management and good routines in place. Also certainly a good place concerning diversity and equality. Thumbs up!
We've been so pleased with the Co-op. The staff are incredibly supportive and friendly. We would recommend the nursery to any parent looking for a caring and nurturing environment.
Excellent nursery that has a very warm and friendly atmosphere and a real interest in the children, noticing their development and always conscious of any issues. The staff are kind, friendly and genuine. There are always lots of activities for the children and a very good menu too - much better than I could do at home. A super space with a large courtyard in the back that is great for outdoor access on sunny days. Daughter has been very happy here. Would highly recommend.
