At Little Pioneers Rose Hill they love to get parents involved and so they arrange special days throughout the year just for parents and families. Like an Easter egg hunt, Sports day, Gardening Day and Grandparents' Tea.

They have an app, ParentZone, which keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress. They are big om safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained,

They are silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on happy children and they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent and taking care of the world.

Little Pioneers Rose Hill Nursery makes the most of a versatile four-playroom interior in order to see early years education thrive. There is a large, secure outdoor garden with a separate section for babies, including a large sandpit and a covered soft area. Children are also able to enjoy facilities including an allotment area where they learn how to take care of plants; fruit, vegetables and flowers and enjoy watching them grow.

My son has been at the Rose Hill Little Pioneers since before his first birthday. He absolutely loves it! Every morning he goes in with a beaming smile, ready to face the day ahead.
The staff are wonderful and so welcoming and friendly.
My older son, who previously attended the nursery, likes going
to visit regularly - the place has had a very positive lasting impact.

My son has been at the nursery since he was 1 and he’s had a very positive experience. The staff are warm and kind and work really hard to build a relationship with the whole family.

The team at Rose Hill are truly exceptional. Our daughter has really flourished over the past year, despite having been painfully shy when she first joined. The practitioners here are empathetic, patient and intuitive. They have been understaffed at times (as everyone is), however they have always supported
and encouraged our daughter to the best of their abilities.

I was extremely anxious about my two-year-old starting nursery, but the experience couldn't have gone much smoother. Every single member of the team has helped with the transition. I have complete trust in their ability to handle any situation. They knew when to call if it got too much for my son at
the start and for me to come and get him as they didn't want him to form a negative association.


Now nearly six weeks on he's already shown much more confidence about being away from me and he always has a great day there. Particular thanks to his key worker who goes above and beyond to look after his needs!

My two children have and continue to receive exceptional care at Little Pioneers in Rose Hill. My oldest started when he was two and has now left for school. The support and care he received there and everything he learnt along the way through an impressive range of activities no doubt played a huge
part in how easy the transition was for him to big school. My little one just started in August 2022 in the baby room, where he is having such enormous fun, his carers are joyful and caring towards him, and very attentive and supportive to us as we navigate his (varying!) sleep needs. Overall the entire team has always been really responsive to us as a family, keen to help and super friendly throughout - I couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

Little Pioneers is a great nursery and Preschool. The facilities and outdoor space are lovely but most of all the staff are what makes it special. They are attentive, nurturing and kind and my little boy always tells me what a fun day he has had. His confidence has also grown tremendously, and he's

We are generally really pleased with Rose Hill Nursery - they have some excellent staff working very hard. When a crisis hits (like when that pipe burst in East Cowley and the nursery was without water) they rallied quickly and made sure the needs of the kids came first. There are some instances when
crying children were left unattended for extended periods of time or where staff members have forgotten their names, etc. - all general tendencies I've observed in every large corporate-run nursery and daycare. But at the same time, what can I expect: they have a lot of kids, they do a lot of cool activities with them, and they always change nappies on time, get them to sleep and eat, etc. When I leave my kid here, I know she will be safe and have her physical needs met. My child's key-person is excellent by the way (we got so lucky!) and is always there when a child is sad or needs something. That is not consistently true of all the staff, but a good 4 star seems deserved.
