Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school, Rose Hill (Oxford)

Our child is constantly coming home having learnt something new. We couldn't be happier choosing little pioneers.

My son loves Little Pioneers Rose Hill Nursery. The staff are friendly and welcoming and make him feel safe and happy. The toys and activities are varied and the children spend a good amount of time outdoors. The nursery has its own chef and provides a healthy and varied menu each day.

My older son, who previously attended the nursery, likes going to visit regularly - the place has had a very positive lasting impact.

Would highly recommend it.

I am very happy with the care my daughter receives at the nursery and think the staff are really lovely. The recent room move has gone really smoothly and she seems happier than ever. We get good updates and feedback.

I was extremely anxious about my two-year-old starting nursery, but the experience couldn't have gone much smoother. Every single member of the team has helped with the transition. I have complete trust in their ability to handle any situation. They knew when to call if it got too much for my son at the start and for me to come and get him as they didn't want him to form a negative association.

Now nearly six weeks on he's already shown much more confidence about being away from me and he always has a great day there. Particular thanks to his key worker who goes above and beyond to look after his needs!

My two children have and continue to receive exceptional care at Little Pioneers in Rose Hill. My oldest started when he was two and has now left for school. The support and care he received there and everything he learnt along the way through an impressive range of activities no doubt played a huge part in how easy the transition was for him to big school. My little one just started in August 2022 in the baby room, where he is having such enormous fun, his carers are joyful and caring towards him, and very attentive and supportive to us as we navigate his (varying!) sleep needs. Overall the entire team has always been really responsive to us as a family, keen to help and super friendly throughout - I couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

We absolutely love sending our son to Little Pioneers. The staff are absolutely amazing and the little ones are given the best start in life. There's always a bit of fun to look forward such as a dress up day or a party. Our son always comes home with new skills and stories to share.

Little Pioneers is a great nursery and Preschool. The facilities and outdoor space are lovely but most of all the staff are what makes it special. They are attentive, nurturing and kind and my little boy always tells me what a fun day he has had. His confidence has also grown tremendously, and he's made some lovely friendships. I would not hesitate to recommend Little Pioneers.

Great nursery with caring and committed staff, and energetic management. Our child was very happy here and was always excited to go. An extra bonus are the diverse and delicious meals and the lovely garden.

It is a great nursery. Nice and helpful staff... My son really enjoys spending time there. He has been adjusting well. And the staff keep track and good care of his learning and development. They communicate well and everything is updated on Parent Zone app on time.

Really lovely nursery. Our son started in September and has settled in really well so far. The staff across the nursery are all extremely welcoming and the staff in his room are wonderful. Our son has become so much more confident since starting so I feel he is going to thrive here!

We are generally really pleased with Rose Hill Nursery - they have some excellent staff working very hard. When a crisis hits (like when that pipe burst in East Cowley and the nursery was without water) they rallied quickly and made sure the needs of the kids came first. There are some instances when crying children were left unattended for extended periods of time or where staff members have forgotten their names, etc. - all general tendencies I've observed in every large corporate-run nursery and daycare. But at the same time, what can I expect: they have a lot of kids, they do a lot of cool activities with them, and they always change nappies on time, get them to sleep and eat, etc. When I leave my kid here, I know she will be safe and have her physical needs met. My child's key-person is excellent by the way (we got so lucky!) and is always there when a child is sad or needs something. That is not consistently true of all the staff, but a good 4 star seems deserved.

Little pioneers has been really positive for our son, giving him lots of opportunities to learn, have fun and make friends. The staff are all really lovely and really encourage my son to do things he enjoys. They are very supportive.
