My daughter has made an excellent start to preschool this year. The transition between rooms was carefully planned to make it as smooth as possible. She loves going in every morning and has made great progress.
The staff are kind and caring, plan interesting activities for the children and create lovely
learning journals. Management is very strong, as is safeguarding.

We've been extremely happy with the experience and care Teddies has provided for our 3 year old. She has settled in well to each of the stages of nursery, from baby care right through to preschool.

I feel my child is in the safest hands when I drop her off at nursery. The staff are so friendly and always welcome my daughter with open arms.
The food/lunch selections are brilliant and better meals than we may have at home!

Like most parents, I am always a little anxious about leaving my daughter. However, when I drop her at playschool, I leave her with a great sense of security. I know that she will always have a great time and is well looked after.
She enjoys seeing the staff and other kids, is always fed well and
has a good sleep. When I leave her, instead of feeling anxious, I look forward to picking her up to hear about all the things she has done and how much fun she has had.
Highly recommend this playschool.

Both my boys love coming to nursery. I am greeted with handfuls of drawings and items that they have made during the day. I have good feedback from their key carers on what they have achieved during that day and over the longer time frame. I couldn't want for a better environment for my children to

We just started nursery recently (3 months in). The settling process wasn't easy for my daughter and nursery staff were so great and supportive of her and us as parents. Her key person is amazing and so genuine. My daughter loves her and it is making her settling into a new nursery much easier. The

The change I've seen in both my children when starting Bright Horizons Tonbridge (Teddies) was fantastic. They turned into such social and confident children. Each day they run into their classes, eager to start another day of fun. I'm also quite amazed at all the things they've learned so far. The
support from the carers regarding issues (ie. potty training, talking) is a real comfort. There's a very good and supportive atmosphere at the nursery. Thank you.

We moved into the area early Feb this year, so my daughter has only been going to the nursery for the past two weeks, however, the staff have been amazing at helping her settle and now she gets really excited about going. The range of activities are brilliant and we have seen a difference in her confidence
and behaviour already. I'm really looking forward to the Easter Parade, it's so lovely to have these activities where I can see her interacting with the other children.

We have been really pleased with how our daughter has settled and been care for by the nursery right from the first day. She loves going to nursery which is a testament to the staff. It is also lovely to see how the staff seem genuinely interested in the development of my daughter and share in the pleasure
of seeing how she is developing. I like having a contact book and hope that continues as it is useful to know how she has slept and eaten and I like reading about her day.

This nursery is just fantastic. The team have really helped my daughter settle in. My daughter has to wear an eye patch due to a quint in her left eye and the team go beyond to ensure she wears it - in a fun and happy way. Nothing is too much and I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you all! Always

We just completed our first month at Teddies Tonbridge. This was my first time leaving my 11-month-old first baby. The whole team, even staff in other rooms were so kind and professional. I don't know how they do it as they juggle so much but they give us really personalised care. We have a few special
dietary requirements and the staff have taken it in their stride, which is an enormous relief to me. My baby loves the Teddies food and eats more than she does at home.

Both of our children have been to Teddies Tonbridge Day Nursery. Our littlest is only 18 months old and absolutely loves it. She gets her shoes ready to leave the house, some mornings she even climbs into her pram ready to go! She has always gone into the nursery without a tear. Which says it all. The
staff are the biggest asset to Teddies. Always so friendly and the children love them. The building is a small converted church - quite quirky but a lot of character. The outside space is pretty limited but they have made the most of it. The children do get taken out on trips to the park occasionally too. Overall, Teddies Tonbridge is a great nursery.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2021

Naomi has been working in Childcare since 2003 where she has gained lots of experience working with children from 3 months to 5 years. She started her journey as a member of the bank team at BH Tonbridge, progressing to Room leader of their preschool and baby rooms.


She became Deputy manager in 2013 and transferred to BH Kings Hill in February 2019, staying in the same role. She is now looking forward to leading the team as Nursery Manager at Tonbridge.


She is very passionate about children having fun within a safe environment and reaching their full potential. She is also the nursery Senco and is very keen to ensure any children with additional needs have their educational needs met while working with outside agencies to ensure this is achieved.


In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dogs and spending time with her son.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Hello my name is Rachel, I have worked at Bright Horizons Tonbridge since May 2009 and am level 3 qualified in childcare.
I love knowing that parents feel safe leaving their child with me and that I am able to keep them safe and cared for through each day.
I worked in the toddler room for a year and a half and then worked in babycare for 8 years where I became room leader then third in charge. I loved working in the baby care room welcoming new babies and families.
In January 2009 I became deputy Manager and help and support the running of the nursery along with spending time with the children in the rooms.
It is very rewarding watching the children grow and develop through their time with us before their next big adventure at school.
