Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool

Our experience of the nursery has been positive.

My child started at the nursery at the beginning of the month, previously my daughter attended but this was over five years ago. It is just as lovely as it was when she attended. So we are familiar with some of the staff already but they have all been so welcoming. My child is flourishing in their care and I would recommend this nursery to anyone for the love and attention they show the children.

An excellent nursery. A clean and bright environment with friendly, attentive staff, who always keep you well updated with your child's progress. Can highly recommend.

My son moved to Bright Horizons, Tonbridge, from another nursery in October. He settled in really well, loves his keyworker and all the activities in his room. He has has moments of being a little upset in the mornings, but all the staff are fantastic with him and send us updates and photos of him happy, soon after. The staff really make an effort to do different themed activities that stimulate the children.

Excellent nursery. Our son loves coming to nursery. He has made so many friends and loves all the staff. They are so warm and attentive and really go the extra mile. Would recommend to everyone.

My son lights up on preschool day! The staff welcomes him with caring arms and snuggles. I feel very safe and confident leaving him and can't wait to hear about his day.

This is such a lovely nursery with staff who go above and beyond for the children. Our daughter has had a lovely experience and we feel very reassured that she is safe, happy and developing a range of skills when there. Whilst there were some recruitment issues previously, this has improved and it's such a lovely environment. I am sure staff retention won't be a problem in the future. We are so glad that we kept our daughter there and managed to find ways to be able to flex around some of the closures etc. The recent renovations and improvements to the outside space are great and was done really efficiently with minimal impact. It's been so wonderful to see our daughter develop and make strong friendships at nursery, both with the children and also with the staff. We love the regular photo updates and celebration of special festivals etc. The staff have been really helpful with making suggestions and accommodating any requests (eg dietary issues), which has been very much appreciated.

Great nursery. My children always enjoy their time at nursery and I feel they are in safe hands. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond for the children. The rooms are clean and tidy and they provide a varied menu.

I have had two children at this nursery until September, when my eldest left for school. Both children have been there since they were one year old. Both love the nursery and the staff. I have found all the staff to be helpful and very caring! My son had speech and language delays along with other developmental delays and they did everything possible to help him while he was there! Cannot fault them!

Our son has been attending since the age of 9 months (he is now 27 months) - he absolutely loves it. The staff are great and care deeply for the children. They are always coming up with interesting and stimulating activities for the kids. They take the time to tailor their care to each child and make them feel loved and cared for. Our son often requires coaxing to come home in the evenings! We will be sending our daughter there next year when she is 9 months old. Lovely spacious rooms for the different settings and the outdoor spaces have been recently redone as well.

This is a wonderful nursery, with caring, kind and friendly staff, who seem to genuinely love what they do. My daughter has settled in quickly and is very happy here. They offer a variety of activities creating learning opportunities and my daughter brings home lovely artwork most days. The communication is the best we have experienced and the regular photo uploads make my day! I would highly recommend this nursery.

Our two sons have thrived at the nursery. The staff are kind, caring and great with the children. Would highly recommend. The management are really helpful and supportive of our personal situation and the staff that have worked with our children have been wonderful.

I love the app and that the staff upload pictures and a diary of their day, it's a great way to stay informed and see the fun they are getting up to. I could not fault this nursery or the staff and am so glad we send our little one here.

Lovely nursery and carers, and the kids love it there. The only problem is they keep closing rooms down, often on very short notice (even less than an hour). They say it’s due to staffing issues, due to Brexit, etc. but it’s been going on for two years and they don’t seem to try to fix it at all. We have friends at several nearby nurseries and they’ve never had issues like this. Many parents have already taken their kids out. You just don’t have any certainty of childcare and all we get when they cancel is a day rate refund and a sorry. In the next 3 weeks alone we now have 5-day closures directly affecting us - it’s hard to keep up with our work commitments like this.

Our girls are thriving here. They are so happy to trot in and so always excited to tell us what they’ve done each day. The staff are so lovely, caring and dedicated. Would completely recommend it to other parents.

My 3-year-old son is attending Bright Horizons Tonbridge Day Nursery and Preschool and he is always happy to go there and when we are picking him up. The nursery displays a good range of activities, excellent food adequate to health nutrition norms and staff are lovely and very engaging with a child. I know that my son is in the hands of highly skilled and trained professionals! Extremely recommend this nursery. Congratulations!

High quality of care provided by lovely staff. The food is good and the communication is excellent. We love reading the little report of what our daughter has been up to during the day. It’s very well organised, even in these challenging times, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Our daughter is very happy there. They take incidents seriously and act appropriately. Response times can sometimes be a bit slow. The Covid controls put in place were recently tested when a member of staff contracted it. It was not passed on to us, a great success.

The nursery has been so great about our child's transition to nursery, especially during Covid when we couldn't go in for settles. They really supported her sleep and have been very nurturing. She loves the activities and the arts and crafts and is very happy there.

My little girl always looks forward to coming to preschool, and we have been so impressed with everyone at Bright Horizons Tonbridge, especially how they’ve been during the pandemic. Really pleased we chose them!
