Canterbury Day Nursery and Preschool has plenty of space for children to learn and explore, with three bright and airy age-specific rooms. Offering high quality care and education for babies from 3 months to children aged five with the additional benefit of having extended opening times from 7.30am – 6.30pm.

Overall Experience
A big thank you for all the super services provided for our daughter. We are really impressed with the way my daughter is evolving and learning new things every day.
All staff members are very friendly and very qualified within their jobs.

Overall Experience

Spring Lane provides a flexible and very full child care option. Good opening hours all year. Hot food on site makes it easy for parents, and the staff are happy and friendly.

Overall Experience

First, it has plenty of space consisting of two classrooms with a garden of enough size. I would wish they facilitate more educational toys but I still like the way they arrange a variety of activities by themselves e.g cooking, baking, arts and crafts etc. Staff are very professional and kind to play with children so children follow them very well. Pre-school supervisor is especially excellent in leading staffs and children's overall atmosphere. My boys are very happy and made a lot of progress in a short time. I particularly appreciate my little one is receiving special care for this emotional difficulties.

Overall Experience

I'm so so so happy with all the staff from my daughters nursery. Everything is different in a good way, my daughter is happy there and she made new friends. She learnt how to share the things (toys) with other kids, and me, her mum, I'm happy to see everything clean. Amazing and helpful staff, smiling all the time and so friendly, for us, my daughter and me, her mum, it's important to feel the place is a safe one. Everything- more than safety and security of course - its a happy place, and on this occasion I must thank you all for the good job they have done for my daughter.

Amanda Job Title: Nursery Manager
Amanda

Hello, I am the Nursery Manager at Canterbury Nursery.

I've worked for 13 years in various schools, nurseries and preschools. I have an Early Years qualification in Childcare and Young Families, her role also includes Nursery SENCO Health & Safety Lead and Designated Safeguarding Manager.

I am my team works closely with families to meet their childcare needs, offering bespoke free settling-in sessions and home visits to welcome new families. The staff team are both established and experienced practitioners who feel passionate about offering high-quality care and education for children.
Naomi Job Title: Deputy Manager
Naomi

Naomi has over 21 years of experience in childcare, including 11 years at Bright Horizons. She began her career as an apprentice and has progressed into her current role as Deputy Manager, gaining experience across all age groups. Naomi also has SENCO experience and is passionate about supporting children with additional needs. In her leadership role, she is committed to supporting and role-modelling best practice for staff, helping create a nurturing and positive early learning environment for all children.
