My daughter has been going to Busy Bees Maidstone Hospital since she was just over 1, right from the beginning they have made the whole process easy for both her and me. Like any Mum, I was nervous about this next stage of motherhood (going back to work) but Busy Bees made the transition really easy and really quickly it was clear that she absolutely loves nursery. The staff are all so friendly and really care about each child and their individual needs/development. The activities are varied, food always sounds yummy and well my daughter always eats it all so it must be good! Truthfully I can not fault them, even during the last few months, they remained open for key worker children, extremely nerve-wracking time for all but the standard and commitment from the nursery and staff didn’t change! We love being part of the Busy Bees family!

Our son has really settled into nursery with the care and attention of Busy Bees at Maidstone Hospital. The ladies really care about his development and wellbeing. Like any parent, I was worried about being away from my son but Busy Bees made me feel at ease from day one. Keep doing a great job!

Nothing is too much trouble for Busy Bees staff. Concerns are listened to, actioned upon (if applicable) and reassurance given. Extra measures are available if required which is a blessing, these are to start soon. Food portions and selection has been mentioned as my son often comes home hungry despite being advised that he's eaten everything. Are the older children getting bigger portions than the younger children?

Had a positive experience with my children on a rocky path to start but are now settled here. Cannot thank the staff enough. Because of the staff here, now have a better experience when leaving the children outside of nursery.

Starting nursery for my twin boys was very stressful and even "scary" experience. It was the unknown that worried us how they will cope, how they will be with complete strangers, how we as parents will too.

But wow, it was easy with everyone here who helped us to settle. I was amazed how easily the boys took everything and now 6 weeks in we even want to come in or come back after we've left. So any new starters don't worry. Everyone knows what they are doing.

In general, I have a good opinion about Busy Bees.

My daughter goes to nursery happy and she is being well looked after. The teachers are encouraging her to become more independent and she is learning.

I would like to thank all the team at Busy Bees at Maidstone Hospital. The staff are exceptional with the children. The nursery is always bright, clean and welcoming. I cannot thank the girls enough for all the support over the time my little girl has been at the nursery.

My 4-year-old son has been attending since he was 9-months-old and absolutely loves it here. The staff are brilliant and he often speaks about them at home. The food is all cooked on-site and is healthy and offers a varied diet.

The activities that they do with the children really help them learn and develop their skills. I would recommend this nursery to others.

My daughter has been attending the Busy Bees day nursery in Maidstone Hospital for over a year now and she is very happy there. As a full-time pupil, she looks forward to going in daily. She has grown so much and learned greatly. The teachers and management staff are amazing, open communication, clean rooms and food and healthy snacks etc, are all attractions.

We have two children who have gone through the nursery. Our eldest is in preschool. She is so happy coming in each day. She has grown so much in confidence. The nursery is always well set out and a great range of activities offered through from baby room to preschool.

I was worried about my daughter settling into a new environment, but honestly, we made the best decision as she has settled in well about four months in and is a lot more independent and generally happy.

Thank you.

Since my daughter moved into Tigers I have noticed significant development and maturity in her behaviour at home. She shows a significant amount of interest in learning, exploring and reading when she is around the home.

Her mother and me are very pleased with the care she has received over the period that she has been at this nursery and with particular reference to the afore months she has shown amazing signs in her development.

The nursery does not have CCTV cameras inside. Last year my daughter broke her arm whilst in the nursery for just three hours I had dropped her on a Friday afternoon. I collected her she was crying her lungs out, nobody in the nursery noticed, at home, we realised she couldn't move the arm and we took her to hospital. Her elbow bone was fractured. I complained to management and they denied my daughter broke her arm there. A dangerous nursery should an accident happen, they do not dare call any ambulance or take to emergency.

Our son is really happy in his room and loves his key worker and the other ladies in his room. They do lots of different activities and have lots of themed days, which our son loves. We are very happy with the nursery and our second son will be joining soon.

Emma Archer

Hello, I am Emma and am the Centre Director for Maidstone Hospital.

I have been working at Busy Bees since May 2013 and have supported a number of settings. I was the Centre Director at Brompton until August 2021 when we achieved an 'Outstanding' Judgement with Ofsted in January 2019.

I have moved across to Maidstone Hospital to embark on a new venture which I am very excited about.

I have a level 4 in childcare and management and have been in a managerial role across other settings since March 2004. I am dedicated, hardworking and very passionate about what I do and love sharing that vision in the setting with the team to ensure the little people we care about and nurture every day are getting the absolute best they deserve.

I have a beautiful daughter who is growing up too fast but makes me proud every day how she copes with her type 1 Diabetes since being diagnosed at the age of 5. It just goes to show the strength and determination these little people have, developing into their own characters which I am proud to be a part of.
