I highly recommend this nursery and pre-school to parents with young children. My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 8 months. She is now 3. She absolutely loves going to the nursery and is excited each morning when getting ready. She even asks over the weekend whether she can attend. Her development has been great. The staff are friendly and they work with parents to ensure that the needs of children are met and that milestones are achieved. My daughter has made really good friends at the nursery. We will really miss Busy Bees at Maidstone Hospital when she leaves for Reception.

My son has been here for almost 2 years. I am beyond glad I chose this nursery. The staff are so welcoming, and my son absolutely loves coming here. The range of food cooked for the children is fantastic. He learns so much every time he goes. We have had no issues even throughout the whole pandemic. They have worked so hard to make sure that every child and their staff are looked after in a safe environment. I would 100% recommend.

I have two children currently attending Busy Bees, one in foundation class and one in under twos. My kids joined Jan 2020, with my oldest moving from another nursery and my youngest being almost 8 months. The transition period was hard for my oldest but the team at Busy Bees were so supportive, kept me completely up to date with her progress and supported both me and her the whole way through. My youngest has an amazing connection with the staff and the bond between him and his key worker is wonderful. Again, constant updated and support. I would highly recommend Busy Bees. The only thing that my kids struggle with is the menu, on some occasions, my kids have refused to eat what is served and the only alternative offered is bread and butter. I fully support trying to encourage healthier meals but I know for a fact my kids will at least try the meals and refuse.

My 20 months old son goes to Busy Bees Nursery at Maidstone Hospital since September. He has settled really well and is always happy in the mornings when he goes to Nursery. Staff are always friendly and caring. The nursery is clean with lots of activities to keep children occupied. Also, homemade food is brilliant with a variety of choice. We are lucky to get a space there and be part of the Busy Bees Nursery family!

Our son has been at this branch for a few months and he has grown in confidence and is so happy here. The staff are lovely, a positive greeting in the morning and a concise update on picking him up.

Our son was at a nursery for three years before we moved house and since he's started at Busy Bees at Maidstone Hospital he has gained confidence in himself and does so much learning. Busy Bees is more expensive but it's worth it to see your child settled and enjoy attending. Thank you all, especially in the current climate (covid 19).

I'm really pleased with the Busy Bees at Maidstone Hospital. Our son has been going since he was 9 months old, and he's 2 and a half years old now. He looks forward to his nursery days. The staff are friendly and attentive, activities seem to be often and varied. And our son's development skills are improving all the time. Overall very happy.

I am very happy with the nursery. My child is very happy to attend. Good variety of food served. Staff are friendly and caring as well as good child feedback given. The outside space is great which was a big factor in why I chose this nursery.

I have been very impressed with the care my daughter has received at Maidstone Hospital Busy Bees. She is happy to go in every morning and seems to have a very enjoyable time. Seeing pictures posted on the app helps to keep us informed of all she is doing. The staff always seem happy to be there and genuinely care about the children. Choosing a nursery was an emotional challenge but I feel that we have got it right by choosing Busy Bees.
When she was in the baby room she formed a very strong bond with her key worker which helped her feel secure. Now she has moved up to the next room she has continued to develop her confidence.
Their organisation around the Covid-19 restrictions has been excellent and understanding of our anxieties as parents.

Thank you to all the staff for looking after my little girl so well. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone looking for a childcare provider for their child.

Both of my children attended busy bees (Maidstone hospital) from 6 months right up to preschool. One of my boys is still there, I have been so impressed with the nursery from day one and think they have handled the pandemic incredibly well. Every member of staff I have come across has been friendly, welcoming and genuinely interested in my boys. They love their key workers and enjoy going to nursery in the mornings! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. My children have made lasting memories here, as have I.

Since starting at Busy bees in September 2019 (aged 2) my daughter's confidence grew with the staff who enabled her to flourish and become herself. She has now moved to the foundation where she is excited to go every day, learning new experiences and topics from Space to Halloween. Through Covid, we were sent ideas to help our children at home and messages so they could keep in touch. I would recommend this nursery.

Both our daughters have been attending for over two years now. The staff are always friendly and both girls really like it, sometimes the youngest does not want to leave. Lots of activities for them and good relationships with the teachers. Our oldest has just left for school now but still takes fondly of the nurse.

Had no issues, very friendly staff. Both our girls go there and love going (ages 2 and 4). Very tidy before covid (not been in since due to rules). They mention nursery every day and look forward to their next visit. My 11-year-old with additional needs also went to Busy Bees but in Allington and they were excellent too.

My son has attended Busy Bees at Maidstone Hospital for 18 months and thoroughly enjoys it. His speech and development increased rapidly once he started and the nursery are keen to encourage this, often conducting observations for parents to read on the app. The staff are always friendly and attentive and my son often comes out of nursery talking about his key worker. He has developed some lovely friendships and cannot wait to get to nursery which makes me confident he is happy while left in other care. Overall, I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

We have sent our child to Busy Bees for three years now. The service provided all the way through his three years have been first class. This has been highlighted lately with their first-class handling of the COVID situation. Great nursery, would highly recommend.

Emma Archer

Hello, I am Emma and am the Centre Director for Maidstone Hospital.

I have been working at Busy Bees since May 2013 and have supported a number of settings. I was the Centre Director at Brompton until August 2021 when we achieved an 'Outstanding' Judgement with Ofsted in January 2019.

I have moved across to Maidstone Hospital to embark on a new venture which I am very excited about.

I have a level 4 in childcare and management and have been in a managerial role across other settings since March 2004. I am dedicated, hardworking and very passionate about what I do and love sharing that vision in the setting with the team to ensure the little people we care about and nurture every day are getting the absolute best they deserve.

I have a beautiful daughter who is growing up too fast but makes me proud every day how she copes with her type 1 Diabetes since being diagnosed at the age of 5. It just goes to show the strength and determination these little people have, developing into their own characters which I am proud to be a part of.
