Tops Day Nurseries: Newport Nursery

Our daughter has been at Tops Day Nurseries - Newport for around 2 years, she has loved every minute of her time there and has been supported to develop a variety of new skills. Unfortunately, we are moving out of the local area so our daughter is transferring nurseries but we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tops Day to anyone else looking for a nursery in Newport. Thank you to everyone involved in her care!

My little boy has been at Tops Day Nurseries - Newport since I went back to work when he was 5 months old. As he was very young when he started, I was very anxious about leaving him, but all of the staff here put me at ease. The nursery has a fantastic atmosphere, and my little boy always has a great time when he's there. The communication between the nursery and myself is also excellent. And I always enjoy reading the observations recorded on Eylog. My little boy is so sociable, and I think this is a lot to do with the interaction through the nursery. I also enjoy seeing all of the new activities and materials that have been implemented since he has been there. I have no negative feedback whatsoever, and always highly recommend the nursery if I am asked.

My son has attended this nursery for the last 2 years and he loves it. I never have to worry about him when he is in the nursery as I know that the care he receives is brilliant. He starts school this year and I know he will miss being at nursery every day. The room leaders and key workers are fantastic and communication between them and us is always very good. Well done everyone, keep up the good work!

Since my little boy started here in September 2016 the care he has received has been brilliant. All the staff are lovely and very caring. The nursery always put on a range of different activities to engage all the children. I never have any concerns when I leave my little boy here as I know he will be well looked after.

My grandson has been attending the nursery for just over a month I've dropped him off a few times and each time I've seen him settled in well by the staff in the room. I enjoy seeing his updates via my daughter using the eylog app. It shows that he has a good day and lots of fun. I'm so happy that my daughter has chosen this nursery for my son as I can see how happy and settled he is here. We viewed various nurseries in our area and felt that this one was the best one. The atmosphere and the recourses were great especially the gardens seeing as my grandson loves the outdoors. I hope to see him grow and develop more throughout his time at this nursery. My little boy has been going to Tops since Oct '15 and loves it. Friendly staff and an all round lovely nursery. It's nice when dropping him in the morning, knowing he's going to have a fun, enjoyable day.

Excellent nursery, staff are always welcoming to both parent and child. The range of resources and activities for the children are brilliant there is always something new set up for the children to explore. I as a parent feel very relaxed and certain that my child is well looked after in the setting and that their development and learning is being supported at a high standard.

She has her best areas to play in and the staff encourage her to develop in, she has learnt so much the staff are so friendly and lovely to talk too.

The nursery hours are very flexible and work around my job.

Lovely preschool with great outdoor spaces. My little one absolutely loves coming in and his key worker is amazing and has built an excellent friendship with us both. The staff have always gone out of their way to be flexible for us and we will definitely miss coming here when it's time for big school!

I would recommend this nursery to anyone who I know would need one. My child has been coming here since she was 4 months old.The staff are very polite, helpful, always happy to see my daughter and me.They are warm and welcoming. My daughter loves going there and by the smile on her face, she loves it that much she never wants to leave at home time. I know my daughter has a brilliant time when she is there. Knowing how happy my daughter is making me feel happy as a mother at drop off time.

My granddaughter has been attending Tops Newport since 2014, she settled in really well and loves going to 'school'. The rooms are bright and airy, with lots of activities set up throughout the day. The staff are very approachable and friendly, and are always very welcoming.

My son has been attending for around a month now and he's settled in really well. I was worried about how he would settle as he had never been away from me but he goes in and goes off to play. He absolutely loves it and he has come on so well. He is only 10 months but I feel that he's learning so much. I would highly recommend this nursery. They have done amazingly at settling him in and are great at telling me what's he has done all day. They are also happy for me to phone as much as I like to see how he's doing. I couldn't imagine sending him to another nursery now that he's so happy here. They are also really helpful when you need to make changes to hours. The flexible booking is great for a parent like me who works shifts. They are very accommodating to all types of families. I really appreciate everything they have done to help not only my son feel happy and safe but also for me to feel confident and happy leaving him in their care. Thank you for all your hard work!

My son has attended Tops Day Nurseries - Newport since he was two years old - he is now four and a half - and he has absolutely loved every day. His key worker is amazing and deserves a medal for her incredible work with the children. The whole team are consistently kind, enthusiastic and incredibly caring with the children - and the parents! The effort that they go to in creating interesting and educational activities for the children is second to none. The skills of the children are tracked carefully to ensure they reach the milestones and interventions designed to suit the needs and interests of each child. He nursery is bright, modern and well equipped with lovely outdoor areas and equipment. Tops Day Nurseries - Newport is just about the best nursery environment I could have hoped for and we have been delighted as a family with everything we have experienced.

I am very happy that my son goes to Tops Day Nursery - Newport. He has been attending Tops since he was 3 months old and the staff have been wonderful in giving me the confidence and reassurance to return to work knowing that he was well cared for and nurtured and then in encouraging his learning and life skills through each developmental stage. Staff have all been brilliant as in each class they have known exactly the best way to support him, not only with his learning but also with his emotional needs. As a result, he is a happy boy who loves going to Nursery. He is sociable, has made friends and he is achieving his educational goals as he has lots of fun whilst learning. I notice the lovely and varied play activities and play stations that staff devise and set up in the room each day and think its brilliant. I am so grateful to all the staff including the admin staff and the manager - everyone is very kind and helpful and we really appreciate their hard work.

Both our children have been going to Newport Tops, our oldest started in 2011 and they have been there every year since. They both love the staff and setting and we know they wouldn't be as settled if they were anywhere else.

Tops Days in Newport are very accommodating. They are easy to contact and we are always welcomed with a smile. My son loves Tops and enjoys attending nursery, he has come on leaps and bounds since he has been attending and I'm proud of him. Thank you to the staff at Tops. The manager is also fab. Overall a very nice little school.

The staff at tops have looked after our twin girls since they were 6 mnths old, from baby room to preschool. The facilities are fabulous, perfect for entertaining and teaching and fun.my girls have never said to me that they don't want to go,because they enjoy every single day they are there. I almost wish they didn't have to go to school as I wonder if they will enjoy it as much! The staff are fabulous, so helpful and thoughtful and kind to our girls. I would recommend them to everyone, we recommended the nursery to our friend and now both her children go to Tops.

Having supported our son from 9 months old to now nearing school age, we have experienced every level of the nursery and could not be happier with the service we have enjoyed at every step. We were naturally worried as first time parents using childcare to return to work, however they calmed these very quickly and have provided excellent care.
