Rowan Tree Day Nursery (Welwyn Garden City)

Our little boy settled in so quickly and loves all the staff members there, he is learning something new every session!

We moved recently and could have relocated closer to home but opted to stay because our son is so settled.

It took my daughter no time at all to settle into Rowan Tree. The staff have been wonderful and very welcoming to the whole family. We get a lovely report at the end of the day to let us know what she’s been up to and the ParentZone app has been fantastic for updating us with the new skills that she’s learnt that week.

The facilities are outstanding, especially the garden area where they spend a lot of their time. It is also very close to the train station, which makes it an ideal location for any parents commuting to London for work.

I feel I’ve found the best place for my daughter to learn and grow in a safe environment.

Our daughter started at Rowan Tree Day Nursery when she was 14 months old and is really thriving there! She has developed a really warm bond with staff members, which is clearly a credit to the hard work, dedication, genuine and individualised care they provide for her. The facilities in the indoor and outdoor spaces are fantastic, including a range of educational toys. Our daughter has special dietary requirements and the chef has been absolutely outstanding in cooking her healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals daily. Both the management team and the other staff always welcome us in and are always available to chat for any queries, however big or small. We feel we are dropping our daughter off to an intimate, humble, open-minded and caring family atmosphere, which is so reassuring and has allowed us to ease back into full-time work smoothly and flawlessly. We couldn't have asked for a more positive and supportive experience, and we thank Rowan Tree from the bottom of our hearts!

Fantastic childcare. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and very caring. I feel completely confident leaving my son there, especially as he started from 3 months old.

Both of our children have attended Rowan Tree and we've been very impressed. Our key workers have been exceptional and we love the Parentzone observation system.

My daughter has settled in really quickly and is growing in confidence and independence. Care is consistently good with families, staff are consistent in reporting of progress. Overall really pleased.

Rowan Tree has been an amazing experience for both my 5-year-old and 2 1/2 year old. Excellent nursery, we love it. Staff are very good, caring. Good activities. Lots of time outside in the garden, however, the garden and outdoor space is not big. We love the nursery and all the staff.

I have found my experience with Rowan Tree, excellent. All the staff are very devoted and excellent. Our son has progressed amazingly with his speech and counting and often uses new words or skills that he has learnt at the nursery. We would have no hesitation recommending the nursery.

I cannot recommend Rowan Tree enough. My child has had a few health problems but they have been brilliant with reassuring me that my child is well looked after. The staff are very friendly and funny. I find that my child refers to her friends and keyworkers regularly. She regularly gets excited about attending nursery as she likes the special activities that take place eg. Football coaching and musical sessions.

My son loves going to the nursery. The staff and management are brilliant. I recommend the nursery whoever I speak to. Our older son used to come here and he really enjoyed it too! Thank you.

Rowan Tree is a beautiful nursery. All the rooms are light, airy and big with lovely outside play areas. The baby room also has air-con and a great roof terrace play area.

The staff are caring and loving. They are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They are there because they love the job and make you feel like your child is just as important to them as they are to you. The management and administration are top notch and would highly recommend. My children and I just think it is brilliant.

She looks forward to going, often reciting the names of staff and her friends from nursery. We would like to say a special thank you to her key worker. She thinks the world of her. A big thank you to everyone - this year has been brilliant!!

Rowan Tree is a well established, friendly and professionally run nursery. My daughter has settled easily with the help of caring staff and key workers. Constant progress updates on my child provide me with great reassurance on her care and education. Events have also allowed us to get involved with the nursery community. I feel safe about my child's welfare in Rowan Tree and happy about her future there. I would recommend Rowan Tree to any parents for the care of their loved children.
