Rowan Tree Day Nursery (Welwyn Garden City)

My daughter and my son both attend Rowan Tree Nursery and I would not have them anywhere else. I looked at many nurseries but Rowan Tree stood out head and shoulders above the rest. The nursery and staff are first class and the love and care they give my little rascals is second to none. My children love going to nursery and I feel 100% confident that they are safe and extremely well looked after. Communication is excellent and the staff can’t do enough for the children or the parents. The staff are like my children's extended family, they all adore each other. Hardworking, dedicated and always putting the children first, I can’t recommend Rowan Tree Nursery highly enough.

My little girl went to Rowan Tree at 16 months old and although she was a little hesitant to start with, she now very much enjoys her time there. She is about to go to school in September so not many days left and I will be sorry to say goodbye to her nursery days. The staff at Rowan Tree are all exceptional and she has really bonded with several of the staff there. The kids are lovely too. It’s a fun, clean, safe and homely atmosphere. I love the Parentzone updates that ping onto my phone on the days that she’s there that allows me to see what she’s up to along with reports on different stages of learning. There is a wide range of activity stations, lots of books and loads of things to keep the kids entertained. My little girl loves dressing up, the reading corner and painting. There’s a good outdoor section too with lots of fun things for the kids to do. She particularly likes kicking balls around, the mud kitchen, riding the bikes and climbing over the balance beams!

My daughter has attended Rowan Tree nursery since she was 9 months old and I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery to any families looking for childcare. Rowan Tree has a real family feeling and my daughter gets really excited on nursery day to play with her friends and the staff. My daughter learns so much from nursery and is always surprising me with new words and skills.

We loved Rowan Tree Day Nursery (Welwyn Garden City) when we took our tour. Our daughter was instantly at ease and off exploring old computer equipment with a screwdriver which is an activity set up in the preschool. The staff were professional, kind, clear and the kids were all off enjoying themselves and interacting with the staff confidently. We now have both daughters at the nursery and as they have aged over the last fifteen months we have had experience of every room within it. I recommend Rowan Tree Day Nursery (Welwyn Garden City) without hesitation. Without exception, every member of the team we have met has shown a keen interest in our children, delighted in their development and supported us through their challenges. Throughout the pandemic we have never had to wonder ‘what next’ or ‘what are they doing about?’ The communication from the nursery manager and office team has been exemplary. When our eldest is having a hard time separating from me, the team have been sympathetic, kind and full of ideas to help! Rowan Tree Day Nursery (Welwyn Garden City) is the best!

I highly recommend Rowan Tree Day Nursery (Welwyn Garden City). My little boy graduated from the preschool room last summer and my little girl now attends the ladybirds room, so I have experienced all the different rooms and staff teams. The facilities are brilliant, the children spend lots of time outdoors and the staff really care about their development. My daughter has food allergies and the team have been fantastic in making sure she has great meals, special milk and always go above and beyond to make her feel included at meal times. Above all, the management and all the room staff are fantastic, they are all so helpful, friendly and I know they genuinely care about the children. We have been very happy with our experience of Rowan Tree Day Nursery (Welwyn Garden City) and will be sad to leave when the time comes.

I couldn't recommend Rowan Tree Day Nursery (Welwyn Garden City) more. My daughter has settled in very quickly and easily, especially considering she has never been looked after by anyone other than me and my wife due to current circumstances and she was only seven months when she started. She is always really happy at drop off and pick up times and seems to love going to nursery. Both management and staff members have been brilliant in accommodating my daughter's dietary and caring needs. She is building a great relationship with all her carers, whom are encouraging and supporting her growth and development day by day. Daily feed backs are a great way to have a deeper look into her nursery day, giving observations that involve me in her learning journey. Great activities are always provided to encourage their curiosity, interests and development. I couldn't be happier with the way my daughter is cared for.

Rowan Tree is an incredible nursery with kind and generous staff who do an amazing job of caring for and educating our boys. The staff and facilities are outstanding, they really know the children well.

Rowan Tree Day Nursery is such a wonderful nursery for our daughter - we feel very lucky she has a place there. The staff in her room are so warm, enthusiastic, fun and loving towards the children. She does wonderful activities every day and loves going. They have been absolutely amazing in supporting us with my daughter's allergies. I can't recommend them enough.

The nursery is excellently run by the managers who have a superbly supportive team behind them to create a really safe, positive and teaching environment for my son. My little man thoroughly looks forward to going into nursery for a day of stimulating activities, with plenty of time and attention. I love looking at his progress through the app on my phone which is updated for every day your child is there. The daily feedback of what your child has been up to throughout their day is always completed and to a great standard. Thanks for all your hard work guys, keep it up!

My daughter has been at Rowan Tree for two years. We were looking for a nursery that would have that family feel but was also educational, professional and consistent. We were incredibly lucky when we were told there was a space available. It was one of the best decisions we've made, and we never looked back. She had no trouble setting at all. The staff are very professional and caring. Focus and attention on learning and development are outstanding as well as a lot of different fun activities. We feel very confident our daughter is ready for big school. We will miss nursery terribly. Thank you very much Rowan Tree team for always taking excellent care of our daughter. My three children have all attended Rowan Tree and loved every minute, so I have been attending for the last 10 years. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, supportive and kind - the turnover of staff is very low so it really does feel like an extension of our family. None of my children had any trouble settling and have always received all the love and attention they need to make them feel secure and content and address their needs. The nursery's handling of the Covid-19 restrictions has been faultless - calm, efficient, effective, safe, reassuring, kind and settling. It is always a joy to arrive at Rowan Tree and my whole family will be sorry to leave when our youngest 'graduates' this summer.

Rowan Tree is simply fantastic. Our daughter had been attending for 2-years, and our son recently started. Both kids love it and are so excited in the mornings to go. All the staff are friendly, professional and take the time to really get to know each individual child. I love getting the photos and updates on the app; you can see the huge smiles on the kid's faces. I couldn’t rate the nursery more highly. Would definitely recommend.

My son has been at Rowan Tree for over 2 years now and he loves it there. There is a very warm and welcoming feel to the nursery. The staff are all really friendly, kind, caring and helpful. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are great and there is a large range of toys for the children. The learning is excellent and now he is a bit older they spend more time on each topic and go into more detail on it which is lovely. He has formed close bonds with all of the staff that work there and has made some good friends.

My 2 boys, now aged 2 and 4, have been going to Rowan Tree since they were 9 months old. We love the nursery. They look after our boys really well, once we drop them off I don't have to worry about them at all. They love spending time with all the staff there and often talk about them at home. We have also got to know all the staff really well over the years which is nice for us as too. The meals are amazing, a lot of thought goes into them, really healthy and the kids eat really well there. They do lots of different activities with them which helps them to develop. I would highly recommend this nursery for your child.

My son started nearly three years ago and loves attending, having made some wonderful friends and sees his ‘grown ups’ as extra friends. He is learning all the time and comes home with lovely artwork. We moved away from Welwyn Garden City before my son was born but travel every day for him to attend the nursery as there is no one we would trust more to take care of him. He is growing and developing every day and will be soon heading to school and I know he will miss the nursery terribly.

I’ve had two children attend Rowan Tree, with my second child currently still there and I couldn’t recommend them enough. The environment has a warm friendly feel and the staff are very professional and caring. I know my child is stimulated with fun learning activities and has now made lots of little friends.

Before choosing a nursery for my baby, I researched a number of local nurseries near to where I live. When I walked through the door at Rowan Tree, I just knew my son would be happy there, it just gave off this great vibe. The nursery and all the staff are super friendly. My son has been there for 6-months and on the days he attends nursery he stands at our front door with a beaming smile with his shoes in his hands. Best decision ever, you won't be disappointed if you choose Rowan Tree!

Both my son's lave learnt so much since joining Rowan Tree. Both have hearing issues and the nursery have been extremely supportive in ensuring their development progresses. All the staff are super friendly and deliver a fun-packed educational curriculum. The boys love it!

Our son has been at Rowan Tree for 18 months and he is so happy at nursery and has a close bond with both other children and staff. He loves learning and playing and it has been lovely watching him develop and I think this has a lot to do with the activities they do at the nursery.
