Great nursery, with caring and professional staff. We have had 3 children going to this nursery over the past 8 years, with our youngest currently still there. Our daughter is always happy at the end of the day and I can tell she has had fun. Any problems we have ever had have been quickly resolved once we've flagged them with management.

All the staff members at Puddleducks are friendly, welcoming, and attentive to the needs of the children. Our child loves time there and has learned so much over the years. We appreciate the care diary being updated throughout the day and love seeing photos of the fun activities that have been set.

This is a friendly, welcoming nursery with fantastic support for little ones. Our son has been attending Puddleducks since he was 10 months old and will soon be moving up to the toddler room. In that time we've always had good relationships with his key workers and been massively impressed by his development. There are plenty of activities, great access to sensory play like the mud kitchen and key workers pay careful attention to each child's routine. You can tell staff care about the children and all staff greet children by their name creating a welcoming environment. We're kept updated via a handy app and have been impressed by the nutritious meals made by the kitchen.

It is difficult as a parent to leave your children in the care of others but we feel very lucky to have found a setting we trust and where our daughter thrives.

My little girl started at Puddleducks at the start of September, and while she is still settling in and still does get upset at drop-off, she has managed to stay in every day and seems to love her time here. This can only be a testament to the compassion and care all the team treat her with. They always make me feel that she matters, everyone always remembers her and knows what's going on, even though there are many other children, it still feels like she is important to them. They are considerate and patient with her and she is getting better each day and loving her time there. I can't thank them enough, or praise them enough. Really really pleased so far!

My daughter loves spending time at Puddleducks. The staff are amazing, and I know that every time I send my toddler to nursery, she is happy and will be taken care of. I cannot recommend this nursery enough, and I am so grateful my daughter has got to spend time with the lovely staff.

Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset. It’s been over a month since my daughter has been attending and I know team there take such great care of my baby girl, it makes me happy to send her off every morning and know she’ll be taken care of! The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun and loving environment. I’d like to thank the entire staff and specifically! I would recommend this daycare to other parents.

My two-year-old daughter is very happy here after relocating. The staff are lovely and welcoming; Lots of learning activities and lovely meals! Puddleducks also has a good app/online space where it's easy to follow her day-to-day experiences, eating, sleeping and toileting!

Having used Puddleducks Day Nursery (Baldock) for the last 18 months, we are nothing short of thrilled with the experience our son has had at the nursery. It can be a really difficult decision to put your young child in an external education setting, Puddleducks Day Nursery (Baldock) create such a fantastic environment for both learning and playing, we have no reservations about registering our second child. As our son has additional communication needs our key person alongside the nursery management constantly works with us to help our son thrive.

Wonderful staff, great experience all around, perfect. My child always has an amazing time and comes back exhausted but extremely happy. I would happily recommend this wonderful establishment to my friends and frequently do!

I now have two children at the nursery and of the staff, I cannot be happier with the care my children receive. To walk in the corridor and have staff members say hello to both my children by name (even when they are not in those classes) makes you feel as a parent, that everyone cares. Whenever we have had any concerns or worries, the staff are always open to discussing them openly and coming up with a resolution. The nursery have improved communication in announcing if there is a contagious illness amongst the nursery so that parents can make an informed choice about sending their children in. The staff work tirelessly and the mix of experience is really varied. There does not appear to be a high turnover of staff and currently, it feels like the staff are not stretched/understaffed. Thank you again for making me feel happy and secure being at work whilst my children are in your care. Whilst I wish finances were different, I wouldn’t change the care my children receive

Our daughter loves her sessions at Puddleducks Day Nursery and we trust the staff there intrinsically with her care. She is happy to enter the nursery and content on collection. They provide balanced meals and are extremely flexible to the children, enquiring each day as to their needs and adapting as necessary. We get care notes from each session so we know when she slept, ate and toileted and update photos with activities she has completed. The range of activities are stimulating and national and international theme days are utilised well to introduce children to different cultures. We receive monthly newsletters from management and any information is communicated in a timely fashion, along with notices to the entrance to the nursery with any urgent information.

Whilst my son is happy at the nursery, my review is based on the protocol of the nursery. I do not agree that parents should have to pay for bank holidays (including Christmas holidays) when the nursery is closed and the services cannot be used. If parents have to pay then childcare should be offered. I also find it unreasonable that if your child's day falls on a bank holiday there is no flexibility to accommodate to move to another day so your child can benefit. I find this quite old-fashioned.

However, my son has become much more confident since being at nursery and often tells me of the activities he has participated in, which is nice to hear.

My daughter has been at Puddleducks Day Nursery Baldock since she was 20 months old, the team have ensured she transitioned between age groups seamlessly. Now that she is in pre-school she is developing so well, learning to write her name and she loves counting, as well as all the outdoor & messy play.

Our son has been going to Puddleducks Day Nursery Baldock for over a year now, and couldn't be happier there. The staff worked so hard to help him settle in, and he goes in every morning very happy. The range of activities on offer is excellent and varied. He has wonderful nutritious meals there, thanks to the lovely cook. We enjoy getting updates on his progress and know the staff are always there to offer support and advice. We couldn't be happier knowing he's at such a fantastic nursery - thank you, Puddleducks!

Our daughter has been attending Puddleducks Day Nursery in Baldock for almost a year now. She started just before her first birthday, and as a lockdown baby, has benefited so much from attending. She is a confident, bubbly, funny little girl who is encouraged and supported by the wonderful staff who genuinely care for her. She has formed great relationships with the staff and other children, and thoroughly enjoys going to the nursery every day. We would love not to have to work full-time but knowing our daughter is in the best environment and stimulus to help her learn and develop into the individual she is, makes us happy as parents. We are proud and amazed by her achievements and that is solely not down to us as parents, but to those who are helping shape her early years.

It has been wonderful to see how attending this nursery has helped our children to grow and develop.
