Boy & Girls Nursery Watford is centrally located in a purpose-built building in the heart of Watford, a short walk away from Clarendon Road.

The rooms offer children great facilities and the garden is always in use for children to explore and play in.

All rooms are monitored by CCTV and parents can ask to watch this from the reception area to ensure their child has settled.

There are excellent transport links from Watford Junction Station and Watford Town Centre is a two-minute walk away. The nursery has a storage area for parents to leave pushchairs and car seats when they are not in use.

My daughter has only just started and she absolutely loves it!! She started full-time 8-6 and is not 2 yet so I was overwhelmed to leave her at such a young age for such long periods every day - however, I had to go back to work!
The staff have assured me every day ever since. The Room Leader and Nursery
Assistant have been absolute stars and the rest of the team.
She now runs in and waves good bye to me and we're not even at the end of week 2!
Fantastic team of ladies who mother my daughter very well. Thank you girls.

My daughter started at Boys & Girls Nursery in 2018. She waves me off at the beginning of her day and goes straight off to play or for a cuddle. The staff are very friendly and are always coming up with fabulous activities (most recently princess and pirate day to support a local charity). My daughters
learning journal is always packed with lovely photos and observations showing the staff really do care about her development. At the end of the day, a staff member will always take the time to let me know what my daughter has been up to that day. The food is nutritious and varied (my daughter always has seconds). The newly refurbished garden is very inviting and makes the most out of the space. 5*s all round.

Boys & Girls Nursery are fantastic. My daughter started last summer and enjoys her time there. The staff are fantastic and they are very caring. The food is lovely and nutritious and their new outdoor space is great.

Wonderful place. Staff go out of their way to deliver the best service possible by working with both the children and their families to ensure children reach their full potential.
Can’t fault this nursery, I have seen a few locally and this one was instantly the nursery of choice. Great warm atmosphere

An excellent nursery where we have felt welcome since day one. There is a very personal feel and it is small and friendly.
The care for my daughter is second to none. The activities and playtime they experience are incredible and the menu and food served is out of this world- always homemade and freshly
cooked.
I never ever worry about dropping my daughter there as I know she is in the best care.

My daughter stayed with Boys & Girls for over a year. The staff made the experience very easy and smooth and though it was hard for her initially to be away from us, she ended up loving everyone and enjoying going to nursery. She’s learned and developed so much that I have nothing but good things to

My little boy has been with boys and girls Watford for 14 months now, starting in baby room and recently moving to toddlers. I can honestly say he has enjoyed every moment here. The team have been exceptional and I cannot thank them enough for helping him to settle and contributing to the happy outgoing
boy he is today. They have gone above and beyond all expectations, I had of a nursery and I couldn't be happier with our experience here.

My little boy attended Boys & Girls since he was 1. It was the personal friendly feel of the nursery I liked most, it was warm and welcoming. The staff and management are professional and caring giving my child the best care he could receive. He was happy going in every day and was there until he left
to go to school.
The nursery provides amazing food and the menu is really nutritious the chef would go above and beyond to cater for all the nursery and always welcomed my son and would say goodbye in the evenings.
The learning and development he received was first class, he left having a wide range of knowledgeable facts and there were always stimulating age-appropriate activities available for him with a very high standard learning journal to support what he had learnt.
The extracurricular activities they offered during his time there were fun and beneficial to his learning.
All round 5* and would highly recommend.

Both my son and daughter loved going to Boys & Girls in Watford. Their key workers were amazing and knew them as an individual rather than just another child in the class. I would get daily reports on what sort of day they had and what they had been up to. There were regular parents’ evenings to see
how they were progressing, we were given the opportunity to see their learning journals, which was lovely. The setting is brilliant with large bright learning rooms full of high-quality resources as well as high-end technology. The food is cooked daily within the nursery under the guidance of a nutritionist, both children often had seconds! Would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter started at Boys & Girls Nursery Watford when she was 10 months old. As a first time mum, I was extremely nervous about leaving her. The staff were fantastic and made me feel totally at ease, even calling me 30 mins after I left just to let me know she was happy. My daughter is now in the
toddler room and often comes home asking asking after the staff. It’s lovely to see how excited she is when we pull up at the nursery. Most days I chase her round the room as she’s having so much fun she wants to stay.


I would recommend Boys & Girls to anyone looking for a nursery.

I'd highly recommend the nursery. My daughter had been there for two and half years and I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they have done in terms of my daughter's development. She enjoyed every day at the nursery and felt loved and safe.


It's in a good location as it has bus and train

links close by and easy access for cars.
They do lots of extra activities and lots of baking for the kids to take home.

My son has been at Boys & Girls Nursery Watford for over two years, starting in the toddler's room and quickly moved to Pre-school room.
The care for the children, facilities and activities are first rate. My son loves going to nursery and I attributed a lot of his development and learning to the
lovely staff team. Kind and loving teachers who genuinely care about children's social and educational development.
I also want to mention about all the yummy and impressive menu - all prepared in house.
I feel extremely fortunate to have my son attend Boys & Girls Nursery and I am sure he will always look back at his nursery days with very fond memories.
I would highly recommend to anyone looking for high quality childcare.

My daughter changed nurseries earlier this year to Boys and Girls and I just wanted to say what a change I have seen in the older Grandson. He is now really talkative he loves going to nursery now and always tells me what he has done. He has become more confident and open as a little boy.


He loves

the baking days and also the fact you do the PE and playing outside.


Please pass onto the staff in the baby group and the upstairs room much appreciation from a grandad.

I was originally nervous about enrolling my daughter into any nursery, but as soon as I walked into Boys & Girls, I was put at ease. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They are efficient and pro-active in their duties at all times. My daughter has settled in and now almost runs to her classroom,
her day is filled with activities and lots of learning and the days are structured and made enjoyable. All the children's meals are cooked on site by a qualified chef and made from scratch, so I know my daughter is getting lovely fresh meals. Thank you.

Gemma joined Boys & Girls Nursery Watford in April 2014 as a Nursery Nurse in the Pre-School room and quickly moved up to Room Leader. Gemma is Level 3 qualified in Childcare and Level 5 in Management and chose to work in childcare as she has a passion for working with children and giving them the best start to their learning. Gemma is keen on developing close working relationships with parents and her team, continuously reviewing practice and developing the care and education provided.
