Boy & Girls Nursery Watford is centrally located in a purpose-built building in the heart of Watford, a short walk away from Clarendon Road.

The rooms offer children great facilities and the garden is always in use for children to explore and play in.

All rooms are monitored by CCTV and parents can ask to watch this from the reception area to ensure their child has settled.

There are excellent transport links from Watford Junction Station and Watford Town Centre is a two-minute walk away. The nursery has a storage area for parents to leave pushchairs and car seats when they are not in use.

So happy with Boys & Girls Nursery. My daughter loves it. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. We absolutely love one member of staff in particular, who has been so great for my daughter and really supported her with her move up to preschool. The manager is an outstanding member of the team and
nothing is too much to ask of her and all the ladies in the office. Thank you so much guys, you all make Nursery so easy to do.

Overall, very positive experience with Boys & Girls Nursery. My daughter attended for four years and have been through all the stages - babies, toddlers and two years in pre-school. The nursery staff are amazing, very caring and take great care of the children. The nursery is clean and tidy. The food,
being prepared onsite daily, is always freshly cooked and my daughter absolutely loves eating there. They always find great new and exciting fun activities for the children, bring outside vendors to make their days fun and have something new almost every week. They provide daily updates through the app, which is very reassuring for the parents. They also invest a lot of time in preparing the children for school and making sure they cover the basic learning, appropriate for their age. I would highly recommend Boys & Girls Nursery!

Our daughter has been at the nursery since 12 months of age (now just over 4 years old). We noted that there were bigger nurseries size wise, but we're so glad we chose Boys & Girls, Watford. Our daughter thoroughly enjoys going here. The staff are observant and insightful, so much so, that we were
alerted early to certain issues we needed to understand and address. The manager and our daughter's key persons have really gone above and beyond for us over the last year in particular. On top of that, they succeed in getting her to eat a bit more fruit and veg (still a work in progress but better than we manage at home!). I have no hesitation whatsoever, in recommending this nursery.

I couldn't recommend Boys and Girls Nursery enough. My daughter has been with them since she was a baby and she turned 4 years old last month. Within those years she has thrived at the nursery and has achieved the best early years child development milestones. The nursery manager and staff at Boys and
Girls go above and beyond to ensure that all children’s developmental thresholds are met. My daughter loves her nursery and talks about all the activities they do. She’s become a very confident and happy little girl and has made lots of friends. The staff not only have good relationships with the children but with the parents too. My niece and nephew are in high school now but always talk about their childhood nursery 'Boys and girls nursery', which speaks volumes about this nursery. With Boys and Girls, I can leave my child there without worrying, as I know they will take great care of her. This nursery ensures that the safeguarding and well-being of children is priority. My son moved from another nursery to this one, to start preschool. The staff at Boys & Girls made this transition very easy for us and my son settled into Boys & Girls very quickly. The activities they have on offer every day are fantastic. We get daily reports that detail what the kids do each day,
as well as a chat with a practitioner at the end of the day. Really welcoming, friendly group at Boys & Girls.

I couldn't recommend this nursery enough, in the 3 years that my daughter attended she has grown and learnt so much, she has made some wonderful friends and been looked after amazingly well. The staff ensure that the children have a great bond with them and are learning something new all the time. I
am so pleased we chose Boys & Girls for the beginning of our daughter's journey into education.

We could not be more delighted with our daughter's transition to nursery. The staff here are warm and friendly and go out of their way to create meaningful relationships with the children they care for. Our daughter loves being dropped off and we feel secure in the knowledge that she is being supported
both emotionally and physically. We could not recommend the nursery enough.

Our 3 year-old son attended Boys & Girls Nursery Watford over the summer of 2020 while we temporarily stayed in Watford and we had a great experience. The staff were very accommodating and caring. They were very kind to our son, who is a bit shy and introverted and they helped him with his lunches (he
is also a very picky eater). They quickly discovered his favourite games and made sure to have them handy for him. We felt very happy with the service provided, especially with their warmth and attention to his personality as well as their general flexibility and responsiveness, and we would strongly recommend this nursery!

Both of my daughters attended this nursery since they were babies and I could not be any happier. Fantastic place, superb people and healthy and varied food.
They look after children with great care and dedication and has given me peace of mind during these years.
I will always be extremely grateful

My son started in Boys & Girls nursery Watford when he was 9 months old and it is really a pleasure to look at how he has grown into a confident pre-schooler.
They really helped him in every way and as a working parent, it is a great relief to leave him in trusted hands.


I highly recommend the nursery.


The

admin team, manager and the wonderful girls are all very approachable and friendly. My son wants to eat their amazing chef's food even for dinner.


They provide a variety of play through learn activities and have outside partners coming to provide singing/dancing classes.


I really appreciate the girls who set up different activities every day for the little ones to explore.

My daughter has been at Boys & Girls Nursery Watford on a part-time basis since she was a baby.


The staff are lovely. Very caring and there are lots of cuddles available if she needs one.
This was very important to us when choosing a Nursery/Pre-School. It's important that children should feel secure.


Now

that she's in Pre-School it's giving her a great grounding, educationally and socially and really helping to get her ready to join a Reception Class.


And we can't praise the chef's cooking enough. My daughter has always been a picky eater, but she comes away on Pre-School days having eaten seconds. She's just asked me to ask for the recipes, which is a massive breakthrough!

I really like Boys & Girls Nursery Watford, all of the staff are friendly and kind. My daughter settled in straight away; when I drop her off, she doesn’t give me a second glance!
Food is great, she happily tells me what she’s eaten at nursery, and has been requesting things at home now that she wouldn’t
eat before, which I’m very pleased about.
Overall, it’s a lovely nursery, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

I could not fault Boys & Girls Nursery or recommend them enough! One of the hardest things I’ve done as a parent is to leave my babies and go back to work. I couldn’t thank the amazing, friendly, caring and loving staff enough at Boys & Girls who have helped me do this twice in the past 4 years! They
support us as parents just as much as they do the children and some days I don’t know what I would do without them! My daughter started in the baby room when she was 8 months and is now in Pre School and absolutely loves the nursery and the staff (her friends) and is always asking when she is there next. My son started when he was 7 months and is now in toddlers and also loves his time there. I have no doubt that their development and social skills are as good as they are today because of the care and attention the staff dedicate to the children every day! Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for my family which you are now a part of.

Gemma joined Boys & Girls Nursery Watford in April 2014 as a Nursery Nurse in the Pre-School room and quickly moved up to Room Leader. Gemma is Level 3 qualified in Childcare and Level 5 in Management and chose to work in childcare as she has a passion for working with children and giving them the best start to their learning. Gemma is keen on developing close working relationships with parents and her team, continuously reviewing practice and developing the care and education provided.
