Since starting at Boys and Girls Nursery Watford, my toddler's vocabulary has improved considerably. She has learnt new things about the weather, fruits etc. They might seem like little things but she was just babbling when she arrived the nursery and in 3 months she's already stringing sentences like "Mummy, it's raining. Umbrella?". She's always excited to be there. I really appreciate the efforts by the staff at the nursery.

Our little one loved his time at Boys & Girls nursery in Watford. It was his first time away from us and so was naturally hesitant at first but, with the care and guidance of his key person and all the other staff at B&G Watford he quickly settled in, made friends and looked forward to his days there. Her particularly enjoyed the various creative activities they do each day and he loved his time outside in their outdoor play area. The food is very good and and we appreciated the daily updates and photos the staff took time to share via the App. We are happy to recommend this nursery, the children are well cared for and engaged in fun learning activities. Thank you to all the team!

Our daughter has thrived at Boys & Girls for the last 2 years, having spent time both in Toddler Room and Preschool. We felt she was looked after well and had enough age appropriate activities which kept her engaged , from cutting up their own salad for lunch to weekly external phonics session and music. She made many friends and had a good relationship with the staff. I feel the staff are caring and warm towards the children. We really valued the daily communication whether it was through the app or at pick up. The front desk staff were always warm and friendly which made pick up and drop off more relaxed. I would highly recommend Boys and Girls Nursery in Watford to parents.

This nursery is just amazing! All the staff and fantastic and know all the kids on such a personal level! My son has been here just shy of two years and they have supported his development in more ways than i can explain! If you are ever wondering if this is the nursery for you the answer is always yes!

We had a wonderful experience at Boys & Girls Nursery in Watford, where my little one attended for a year before we moved to their Stanmore branch due to a change in job location. The team in Watford is absolutely fantastic - friendly, caring, and incredibly knowledgeable. They made us feel welcomed and supported from day one, and my child thrived in their nurturing environment. The staff always took the time to get to know each child individually, and their genuine care and enthusiasm really showed. I'm grateful for the solid foundation they gave my little one, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a warm and professional setting for their child.

Our experience with this nursery has been largely disappointing. While it has a small outdoor garden, many other aspects fell short. The toilets were frequently unclean, and general cleanliness across the nursery was poor. Staff changed nearly every month, creating instability and inconsistency for the children. More concerning, there were often too few staff members for the number of children, which led to multiple incidents where our son was hurt due to lack of supervision. Staff were often outside on cigarette breaks, leaving children unattended. He was frequently bored and unstimulated, receiving little to no individual attention, which forced us to put in extra effort at home to keep him engaged. The only truly positive part of our experience was two members of staff in particular -kind, dedicated, and generous individuals who genuinely cared about the children. They were the heart of the nursery. Unfortunately, without major improvements, we cannot recommend this nursery to other families.

I am a new mum and was on mat leave for 1 year. My baby did not settle well when we started to put her in another nursery in Nov 2024. I had lost hope and was not prepared mentally to continue work. We decided to switch her nursery to Watford Boys & Girls in February. Since then, my baby has been settling well, still having emotional moments here and there, but overall she accepted the nursery and she was greatly supported by the staff in the baby's room. She progressed to eating and enjoying her time away from me. The nursery manager along with her key person had a chat we us after her two months, and suggested ways to work together to make sure she is settled well. We followed the suggestions and we see so much improvement. I am extremely happy with the service I get from Boys and Girls and recommend it to all new parents.

Our twins have been going to Boys & Girls Nursery Watford and we are so pleased with how quickly they have both settled in and how professional the staff are. The twins were allocated different key workers (which was something we would have asked for if it wasn't offered) so we were really pleased with this. The settling-in sessions were great and really helped us feel at ease leaving our twins there. Since the twins have been going there, we have seen huge developmental changes around their eating, babbling and playing. The app they use to update you throughout the day is great and we love being able to see photos of the twins throughout the day. Any questions I've had have all been answered quickly and efficiently from the manager. I would recommend this nursery to anyone in the local area.

Boys and Girls nursery in Watford truly stands out as the best! I confidently rate it as the top choice in the area. We're incredibly satisfied with our experience – our daughter thoroughly enjoys her time there, thanks to the caring and friendly staff who take excellent care of the children. One thing we particularly appreciate is the ability to go inside and personally pick up our children, greeted warmly by everyone in the room. It's a comforting feeling to know that our child is in such good hands. Additionally, all our questions are promptly answered, and we receive regular updates, including pictures through the application, detailing the activities they engage in. It's truly heartwarming to see our child so happy and eager to attend nursery. She's picked up many positive traits and behaviours from them, evident in her singing and overall development.

Our experience at this nursery has been exceptional. Our daughter began attending at 9 months and has thrived in every way. She exudes happiness, has developed wonderfully, and often enjoys her hearty two portions of lunch. The attentive staff creates a supportive atmosphere, and the friendships formed, especially with her best friend, make it an even more enriching environment. Highly recommend this nursery for its positive impact on our child's growth and happiness.

My child is happy to go in every day and is always smiling come pick. The staff are caring and considerate and offer full support for my child’s needs. The app is fantastic; I can check in on my child throughout the day and see what he’s eaten, the length of sleep and what activities he has been up to. The key workers also provide an update on pick up to how his day has been. Another reason I fully support the nursery is that my child has good allergies, which they have been fully supportive of and cater to his needs. I would highly recommend this nursery.

An excellent, brilliant place for any child to grow up in. All the staff are very attentive and make the effort with every child and even take the effort to regularly speak with the parents for a quick update. My son enjoyed his time here and has learnt so many things and has developed well into prep for primary school. Will miss the nursery and the wonderful people working there. Thank you for the great work you do.

My son has attended Boys and Girls since he was a baby; he starts big school in September. It is a place where he is seen, understood and loved. The nursery has created a warm, bright and inclusive environment for development and learning, and supported him in developing social confidence, as well as other core skills that will stand him in good stead for school.

Our daughter started Boys & Girls Nursery in April 2023 (aged 20 months). The admin and management team have been really helpful throughout the application and settling in process. The team that looks after the toddlers are warm and it’s obvious they care about the children. My daughter's key worker has been really key in helping manage our child’s anxiety and our own in this key life transition. She is now settled and loving nursery. We couldn’t recommend Boys & Girls enough and have peace of mind when away from our child.

My son started at Boys and Girls Nursery 3 weeks ago when I had to return to full time work. It was a huge adjustment for us all but my son (23 months old) absolutely loves nursery and all the staff which has been such a relief and made this change so much easier. The team are so lovely and clearly care. I can't recommend this nursery enough!

Hi, my daughter has been at the Boys and Girls Nursery, Watford since October 2022 and we are very happy with the service they are providing. I was a very nervous mum, going back to work, worried about leaving my daughter in the nursery when she first started back in October, as she was only 14 months old. However, the staff in the nursery have been so professional, caring and passionate and put my mind at ease very quickly. They sent updates through the app and I knew exactly what my daughter was up to, what she ate, how long she slept, what activities she was doing and how this helped her development. She settled so quickly and was very happy to be going there. She has bonded with her carer (she is a superstar) very quickly. The management team and everyone in the nursery have been amazing from day one up to today. I love this nursery and have been recommending it to all my mummy friends. Ladies, thank you for looking after my little one so well.

Boys & Girls Nursery, Watford is so amazing and welcoming. I fully recommend Boys & Girls Nursery, Watford to any parent. The facility is so clean and the team have been so amazing. My son has improved in so many ways since he joined Boys & Girls Nursery, Watford and he's always looking forward to going to nursery. I'm so pleased with the team's services and I don't regret registering my child with them at all. I recommend Boys & Girls to parents!

My daughter joined Boys & Girls baby room after another nursery in Watford was unable to meet her care needs. It was the best decision we made, she is such a happy baby now and loves going to nursery, which is a weight off my mind while I'm at work. The staff are fantastic, caring, kind and always playing with or reading to the babies when I go in to collect. The nursery uses an app to update you throughout the day with meals, sleep and photos of activities, it's so reassuring to see your baby laughing and smiling while in someone else's care. The nursery is always spotlessly clean, tidy and organised. It really is the best nursery in Watford 10/10!

My son started at Boys & Girls Nursery Watford in November 2022, he has settled in really well, and the staff have been fantastic in helping him settle in. I and my husband always get an uplifting and positive feeling whenever we are at the nursery, and always leave feeling comfortable with our decision to send our son there.

I highly recommend Boys & Girls. All the staff are fabulous, very friendly and like a big family. I really love them. Really, really sweet. They all are amazing with the kids and always go the extra mile. Never, ever had any problem. The place is clean, tidy and very colourful, with loads of activities. Both my kids love this nursery. In my opinion, the best of the best.
