Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey is hidden away in the heart of South Oxhey and their nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment.

Their ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with things like photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress! They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They are Green eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on happy children which is why they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

They have 5 Little pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world.

At Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey there are 3 rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: one room for 3 months – 20 months, one room for 20 months - 3 year olds and one room for the 3-5 year olds. The nursery has its own garden area which has a separate area for the 3-20 month olds, allowing the younger children to access the outdoor areas whenever they want to. The garden has a protective canopy so that the children can access the outdoors whatever the weather.

Since the first day my son has been here, he has been completely comfortable and excited to come back. This was not the case for his previous nursery which was not a Co-op Childcare nursery.
The staff at South Oxhey are incredibly warm, friendly and understanding of each child's needs.
My son has
an abundance of energy, can be hyper-emotional at times but loves to learn new things but I feel totally at ease with the way he is treated, cared for and pushed at the nursery. They cater to his dairy allergy which is great, he never has any complaints about the food.
Communication is great, there are regular emails and they call if there is an emergency, just need to make sure your phone isn't on silent like mine was which was fine because they got hold of my partner.

My son has attended this nursery for the last three years from the baby room right through to pre-school.
We have been so lucky that our son was able to experience such loving and attentive staff.
The learning experience has been brilliant and my son has formed strong bonds with all the staff.
Freshly
cooked, healthy meals are a bonus.
The amazing work the team have done means my son has a strong foundation to build on for the rest of his life and is leaving preschool ready for his next chapter at school.

My son was at this nursery 5 years ago and now my daughter as I wouldn’t want her going anywhere else. The staff are amazing and know the children so well individually. The progression in my daughter's development is outstanding with their encouragement and daily activities. We are kept up to date daily
and with regular observations and progress reports. The food is fresh and of good nutrition and variety. The staff are so friendly and energetic and my children have loved every minute of their time here.

Our son absolutely loves spending time at the nursery. He learns a lot and I feel he is in a very safe place. His speech and confidence have grown. He developed a lot through play and activities at nursery.
The communication with the nursery is excellent and they keep us updated with everything.
The
staff are fantastic, they are very attentive and super friendly even at 7.30 in the morning.
A healthy menu and an onsite chef are also a huge advantage.
We could not be happier with the care and service we have received so far. I feel relaxed leaving my son here.

The management is professional yet friendly.
The place is clean and provides lots of toys and activities to entertain the little ones. There is a garden where children can safely play.

Excellent nursery with long hours of operation to make it easy for working parents. The staff are amazing and really helpful and genuinely care for the well being of the children. My son has been going since he was 10 months old and now he will move onto primary school and had absolutely loved it here.
I have had no problems at all - they provide nappies to the baby room and a great choice of meals. All in all absolutely recommend.

Both my children attend this nursery and love it. Of course for my youngest it took a little while to settle as expected but now he is happy to go and is thriving. Everyone is really friendly and the staff do their best to keep you informed with updates on activities they did in the week. I thoroughly
enjoy reading their updates on my children and their regular assessments. The food options are great and my kids regularly eat double portions. I would highly recommend to all. Keep up the good work ladies!

All three of my children have attended this nursery and we’ve always loved the real family feel you get. My boys have loved it and formed some amazing bonds with the carers. I trust them and that’s a huge thing when you are leaving your child in their care. I would highly recommend to others.

Both my children have attended this nursery with my youngest now in the toddler room. Very professional management. A kind and caring environment for my child to grow and develop. My son is very happy going there which to me speaks volumes! All the staff are lovely and even if they aren’t part of your
child’s room, they will still all greet you in a polite and warm manner. The Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey have been particularly brilliant at handling the pandemic and have kept me reassured the whole time. I would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Both my children have attended this nursery, my 2nd child is still currently attending in the toddler room. I’m so pleased with the care and learning my child receives. He constantly talks about his teachers including the chef on a daily basis. He’s learning so much and is always happy to go in every
day to see everyone. The management communicates well and always have the children’s best interests at heart. What the nursery has done during the pandemic in regards to protecting the children and staff is exceptional. I would recommend this nursery ten times over to anyone.

This is an exceptional nursery. My older child, who is currently at primary school, has attended this nursery, therefore when baby number two arrived I had no doubts in respect of the nursery choice. Staff is fantastic and truly knowledgeable. My son smiles every morning when I drop him at nursery (it
is worth to mention that he attends nursery full-time) and his smile is still there when I pick him up. He met good friends and also his development is just amazing. I need to mention that the food served at nursery is delicious and nutritious.

We are so happy with Co-op South Oxhey. Our son was very young when he started, and we were really nervous - we didn't need to be at all. The staff are all so caring and extremely well qualified in regards to First Aid, planning learning activities and even in giving advice for parents on different
behavioural phases that children go through and how to handle these.
I am amazed at how much my son is learning there, and he is always so happy to go in.
Communication from the staff is superb, and the app is great for me to check in on how he is doing throughout the day.
Every member of staff makes me feel like they love having my child at their nursery, and that was so important for me - I feel like they are family.
The variety of food my son eats there is brilliant - a real healthy mix, and we love that he is trying new things.
I adore all of the little creations that are sent home with my son - helps you to feel like you aren't missing out on the fun!
Definitely recommend.
