Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey is hidden away in the heart of South Oxhey and their nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment.

Their ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with things like photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress! They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They are Green eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on happy children which is why they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

They have 5 Little pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world.

At Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey there are 3 rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: one room for 3 months – 20 months, one room for 20 months - 3 year olds and one room for the 3-5 year olds. The nursery has its own garden area which has a separate area for the 3-20 month olds, allowing the younger children to access the outdoor areas whenever they want to. The garden has a protective canopy so that the children can access the outdoors whatever the weather.

My daughter has been going for two years now and we are very happy for choosing this nursery. All the staff are very friendly and trained. The environment is very calm, they always are busy doing activities, I can see an improvement in my daughter's skills every week. I really recommend.

My son has been at Co-op Childcare Day Nursery since he was 10-months-old. He is now 3 and a half. He settled in very quickly and that is due to the wonderful and supportive staff there. There is a delightful and welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door!
My son's speech has come along
significantly and he is always doing interesting and engaging activities which clearly help with his development. He comes home happy and full of exciting stories about his day! The communication is brilliant and the nursery constantly updates me throughout the day which is always reassuring. The staff are enthusiastic, friendly and caring and my son has developed strong bonds with his keyworkers. It is clear he feels safe and secure there. The staff are always accommodating and flexible. I will be sending my 5-month-old daughter there in a few months and am excited for her to join her brother in such a positive and happy environment. Thank you for all that you do!

Thank you to the amazing team at the Co-op Childcare Day Nursery for the childcare you provide to our daughter who started 6 months ago at 3.5 years and also our son who was 12 months. The nursery provided a settling in period which made me feel very relaxed and less anxious. The management and staff
are all very friendly. Both our children really enjoy going to the nursery and are very happy there. Our eldest daughter has made some lovely friends and talks about the children and the staff often. The nursery provide a variety of good food which is freshly prepared onsite and both my children enjoy the food. Thank you all at Co-op for the wonderful childcare you continue to provide to our children.

My son has been going to the nursery for over a year now and he loves it! He looks forward to going in. He has made friends there and always talks about them at home. I was very worried about my son moving to a new nursery but the whole team at Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey have been absolutely amazing and I wish we had made the change sooner. My son settled so quickly into his new routine and I feel confident every day that I am leaving him in good hands.
He is much healthier at this nursery so I feel it is much more hygienic. I love that there is an onsite chef. I love how transparent everyone is, and I also love all of the weekly/monthly activities and charity activities that the nursery participates in.

Lovely staff and my child is really happy there, meals are good and healthy, good methods used for learning. All is provided from nursery such as nappies so no worries for parents, great communication through the app and emails. Always available to accommodate requests.

Wonderful staff and nursery. My child loves it here and has really developed. After a few viewings, it was a place where I had that feeling and knew I would be happy leaving my child here and that he would be looked after. Can't recommend them enough!

My son is in the butterfly room and we are very pleased with the way he has changed after joining the nursery. He started speaking from no words to sentences. Polite and friendly nature.
