Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey is hidden away in the heart of South Oxhey and their nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment.

Their ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with things like photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress! They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They are Green eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on happy children which is why they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

They have 5 Little pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world.

At Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey there are 3 rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: one room for 3 months – 20 months, one room for 20 months - 3 year olds and one room for the 3-5 year olds. The nursery has its own garden area which has a separate area for the 3-20 month olds, allowing the younger children to access the outdoor areas whenever they want to. The garden has a protective canopy so that the children can access the outdoors whatever the weather.

A lovely nursery, everyone is made to feel very welcome. Staff are always happy and approachable as are the management.
Children learn so much in a well-resourced environment and come home talking about the day's activities.
Children are also introduced to a range of yummy food.

The daycare is such a lovely place. Our child enjoys being there. The staff are really approachable and friendly. They are very caring towards the kids. Engage with them at all times. The room is kept very clean at all times by the staff. It's like a second home to our child.

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 11 months old and he is now 4 Years and 4 months old. He runs to the nursery entrance every day with the biggest smile on his face. He talks positively about all the adults that support him with his learning and development and is always excited and
happy about the activities for that day. The staff are friendly and communicate brilliantly and I have always felt that he is spending his time in the best way possible.

This nursery is the best nursery for my little one. He absolutely adores all the staff members, including the management. When I pick him up, he always takes time to give them a hug. My little one is progressing so well and always comes home with new words, and we love that. The food that the nursery
chef makes on a daily basis is very good and appetising. When I walk into the nursery after lunch to pick up my three year old boy, it always makes me hungry when I smell the lunch that they’ve already had.
My son comes out of nursery very happy and full of excitement. If I ever have another child, I would not hesitate to sign him up with this nursery, and I would highly recommend the nursery.
Well done everyone; you are all doing an amazing job.

My son has been coming here since he was a year old and he's now 2.5. He loves being here and enjoys all the different activities. The staff are lovely and have been very accommodating and flexible with increasing his days and when circumstances arise beyond our control. Lovely team of people and he

My son started this nursery in January and has since thrived and grown so much since starting. We’ve weaned him off his dummy with the help of his teachers which I thought was an almost impossible task. His speech has come on leaps and bounds and he’s always so excited to go in for the day!
Also,
my daughter who also attends the nursery is still loving her time here. Sadly it will come to an end in September when she starts reception (has been with this nursery since turning 2) and she will miss it greatly. Her teachers are so caring and they always want what’s best for her whether that be inside the nursery or at home. Could not recommend enough!

Amazing staff and very supportive team, I recommend this nursery with all my heart! Our son is very happy there, he's learned so many things and the educators are great and very careful with the children and always willing to help and answer all our questions. Our 1 year old has been attending for a couple of months now and he loves it! He didn’t settle at his previous childcare so we were really worried but the manager and the staff were so welcoming and helpful and he settled straight away, it was amazing! He has a great time there and you can see it’s
beneficial to his development and socialising. I thought I’d hate leaving him in childcare while I returned to work but it feels great knowing he’s safe in great care, learning lots and having fun with the other children and lovely staff!

My little girl has been going to this nursery since she was almost 9months, now she is 2 years old and she absolutely loves it. The progress that she has made is amazing and it could not happen without the amazing staff that works there. They care so much for every single child and you can definitely
say they are in good hands. The food there is really good as my daughter loves it more than what I make haha and the place is clean, with lots of toys and pretty much all the children need. The outside playing area is really nice and everyone is treating the kids very nice. They do lots of activities and my daughter is thrilled to be there. The management staff are also great, the nursery manager and deputy manager are very prompt and they have knowledge in the job. We could not be any happier. I highly recommend this nursery.

The team are amazing - we’ve had to increase our daughter's days at nursery for an unknown amount of time and the support and flexibility that the team at the nursery have shown is unbelievable.
They are amazing with my daughter who is always smiling and playing happily when I collect her and nods
and smiles whenever you ask her if she’s going to nursery today.
Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Our son has been at the nursery since he was around 11-months-old and is now in the pre-school room. All the staff have been amazing through every stage of his life whilst in their care and we have never had any concerns at all throughout this time.
In his early years, we had so much reassurance and
daily updates from staff, which was a great help for worrying parents who were heading back to work. Every room has so much going on to keep the children entertained and learning all the time. There is such a kind and caring atmosphere within the nursery and we are so glad that our son has been lucky enough to attend here whilst on his journey through to starting school. I would 100% recommend this nursery to any new parent.
