Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey is hidden away in the heart of South Oxhey and their nursery provides a safe and nurturing environment.

Their ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with things like photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress! They are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

They are Green eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They are big on happy children which is why they have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

They have 5 Little pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world.

At Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey there are 3 rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: one room for 3 months – 20 months, one room for 20 months - 3 year olds and one room for the 3-5 year olds. The nursery has its own garden area which has a separate area for the 3-20 month olds, allowing the younger children to access the outdoor areas whenever they want to. The garden has a protective canopy so that the children can access the outdoors whatever the weather.

My eldest son used to attend this nursery, he is 7, now my little girl goes there too, it’s lovely as a parent to get to see some of the familiar faces that used to care for my eldest now taking care of my baby girl.
I’ve always felt confident leaving both my kids at this nursery and all the staff
always was (and still is) very reassuring when the kids are not well for some reason or because something has happened.
The communication through the app is great as I can always check her naps and her meals.
My son still loves to come with me to drop off and pick up his little sister and catch up with some of the staff members that used to look after him when he was a baby.
I will definitely recommend this nursery.

My son has been at Co-op Childcare Watford South Oxhey since 2020. He has learnt and developed so much and absolutely loves going to nursery. The environment is very friendly, safe and nurturing from early days all the way up to pre-school. The facilities are very good, but I believe that the staff
is what makes this nursery stand up. Absolutely amazing!

This review will be short because when everything is good there is no point in listing it all. There's no part of our experience with this nursery that I could possibly complain about. Facility and staff are great, meals are varied. Top effort from all.

An amazing nursery setting. Great outdoor facility. My child runs into nursery, he loves the activities and the staff members. If I ever have a query the management and staff are quick to respond. If we are struggling with a certain task at home, you can speak to the staff and they will help with encouragement

My child has been extremely happy at this nursery, he started at 10 months old and now he is 2 he still can’t wait to get in as soon as we arrive! We are regularly updated throughout the day and given a quick summary of his day when we pick him up, thus we always feel very informed. All of the nursery
staff are very friendly and welcoming; furthermore, they even arrange get-togethers for the parents at the nursery occasionally! I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The daycare is such a lovely place. Our child enjoys being there. The staff are really approachable and friendly. They are very caring towards the kids. Engage with them at all times. The room is kept very clean at all times by the staff. It's like a second home to our child.

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 11 months old and he is now 4 Years and 4 months old. He runs to the nursery entrance every day with the biggest smile on his face. He talks positively about all the adults that support him with his learning and development and is always excited and
happy about the activities for that day. The staff are friendly and communicate brilliantly and I have always felt that he is spending his time in the best way possible.

My child absolutely loves going to the nursery. He becomes very excited when he realises he is going with his friends and key workers for a fun day. All staff are very supportive and friendly. The food is amazing, and the kids are busy all day with different activities.

This nursery is the best nursery for my little one. He absolutely adores all the staff members, including the management. When I pick him up, he always takes time to give them a hug. My little one is progressing so well and always comes home with new words, and we love that. The food that the nursery
chef makes on a daily basis is very good and appetising. When I walk into the nursery after lunch to pick up my three year old boy, it always makes me hungry when I smell the lunch that they’ve already had.
My son comes out of nursery very happy and full of excitement. If I ever have another child, I would not hesitate to sign him up with this nursery, and I would highly recommend the nursery.

My son has been coming here since he was a year old and he's now 2.5. He loves being here and enjoys all the different activities. My son started this nursery in January and has since thrived and grown so much since starting. We’ve weaned him off his dummy with the help of his teachers which I thought was an almost impossible task. His speech has come on leaps and bounds and he’s always so excited to go in for the day!
Also,
my daughter who also attends the nursery is still loving her time here. Sadly it will come to an end in September when she starts reception (has been with this nursery since turning 2) and she will miss it greatly. Her teachers are so caring and they always want what’s best for her whether that be inside the nursery or at home. Could not recommend enough!
