Lime Grove Day Nursery (Hemel Hempstead)

My daughter joined this nursery in April and absolutely loves it, she never wants to leave. She has only been with the nursery a few months and has already started progressing with her speech and her confidence. The staff are very good and friendly.

The ladybird ladies all take really good care of him and it is a credit to them all that my son will happily interact with all of them. It is a real comfort to know that his care and happiness is their number one concern.

Great nursery, lovely staff. My son has thrived here for the last 3 years.

From the moment we looked around we have been very happy with the nursery. The communication from staff and the facilities are outstanding. Our daughter has settled in beautifully and we can tell enjoys it there everyday!

My son has been at Lime Grove Day Nursery (Hemel Hempstead) for nearly 3 years. I have always been happy with how is cared for there. The staff are caring and knowledgeable. The facilities at the nursery are great, especially the garden. The food they serve has a great variety and my son always enjoys the meals. I have been so impressed with the learning and activities the staff do with the children. He is ready for school thanks to their valuable work and care. I would recommend Lime Grove Day Nursery (Hemel Hempstead) to my friends and family without hesitation.

Our son felt very welcomed when he started here at the age of 2 years, more so than his previous nursery, even though the group of children is quite large. The staff in the nursery rooms and management/reception were very kind and always helpful. The Ofsted rating this nursery receives (best possible rating) is definitely a good reflection on how they operate. Our son has developed significantly during his time at this nursery. We would very much recommend this nursery.

I highly recommend Lime Grove. All of the staff, especially my son's key worker, have gone out of their way to make us both feel welcome and help us settle in. They tailor the activities to include things he particularly enjoys and I enjoy the regular photo updates. I see him develop every day, becoming more confident.

It's also great how friendly all the staff are, they're always happy to talk about anything related to our daughter and her care.

Both my children have attended Lime Grove. The staff are friendly and welcoming and ensured both of my children settled in well and were happy. The facilities are great and the menus are nutritious, varied and yummy! Most importantly, both children enjoyed/are enjoying their time here and look forward to their time here. I would definitely recommend.

I am very pleased that we use Lime Grove Day Nursery (Hemel Hempstead). I have a third child who is going to this nursery. When we found this nursery for our first child, we had no doubts that this was the best choice of nursery and I never feel differently. Of course, there are some parts to improve (no-one is perfect as I always say) but overall this nursery is really really SUPER! Children could not have any better.

Cannot speak highly enough of this nursery. My eldest is just about to leave after 3 years. She's learned and grown so much. Staff are brilliant. Care is superb and they have certainly tried to accommodate our wishes. The only drawback is the change in menu.

Overall, my daughter is happy in the baby room and always has a smile for staff. Lack of sleep is an issue as there is no separate sleeping area so my daughter sleeps 35-40 mins only. I wonder if more can be done to get her back to sleep when she wakes up - rocking?

Staff are more attentive and my daughter engages well with them, making me happy to leave her. All food requirements are well met away from main menu. Sensory play options keep her entertained.

Office admin and response has been satisfactory but sometimes needs prompting in replying with information for my requests.

My daughter had a few settling in sessions to prepare her for nursery.

The team in the baby room asked lots of questions to understand my daughter better. She experienced settling sessions at different times of the day so the team could understand how she likes to go to sleep and how she feeds. I thought this process was very thorough and put my mind at ease.

The team are friendly, approachable and show a huge amount of care for the babies they look after.

I would recommend Lime Grove to anyone!

I find the nursery always welcoming and my daughter is always talking at the end of the day telling me how much fun she has had. My overall view of the nursery is a positive one although as she has got towards leaving, I feel she could have been prepared for school a little better and/or pushed academically a little more.

Both of my daughters have used Lime Grove Day Nursery (Hemel Hempstead). We've been very happy with the level of care provided at the nursery.

Our daughters have both learnt key skills and are really proud of their achievements.

The nursery has made my daughter's time at preschool more enjoyable. She has had a great time and really blossomed at Lime Grove. We have really appreciated their supportive and flexible approach which made it so easy to work with the staff.

Our son joined Lime Grove in February 2017, and we are absolutely delighted with the nursery. It is a lovely building; very clean, with large rooms for the children to having plenty of space to play and learn.

Our son was initially placed into the baby room, and, at first, struggled being away from Mummy. During this time, the nursery staff were amazing; very patient and loving with him, offering lots of cuddles until he settled down, and was happy to go and play with his new friends. They were also extremely kind to me, reassuring me that he was settling in, but that it was absolutely fine to phone and check on him throughout the day.

Our son is now happy and tear-free at drop off; I have no doubt that this is because of the kindness and patience of the staff, as well as all the fun activities that he plays throughout the day. I am completely satisfied that he is cared for in a safe, secure, loving and fun environment by professional staff that are incredibly friendly and approachable.
