Bright Horizons Potten End Day Nursery and Preschool

We've been really pleased with the staff and facilities at Potten End Bright Horizons. The staff are great and so committed. They do loads of engaging activities with the children and really encourage them to learn in their own individual ways. The food seems nutritious and delicious - our son eats so well when he's there. They've recently renovated the outdoor play area for his room and it looks really lovely. Lots of outdoor play when the weather allows and they even did a trip to the pumpkin patch at Halloween! Updates and photos are good.

The staff are amazing-so kind, patient, and always willing to listen. It's clear they genuinely care about the children and work hard to create a supportive, happy environment. One of our favourite things about the nursery is the fantastic outdoor space. There are plenty of opportunities for the children to go on walks and enjoy time outside, which our child absolutely loves. We've seen such positive growth and happiness since joining, and would highly recommend.

Our daughter has been at the nursery for 6 months now and has been in both the baby room and toddler room in that time. She absolutely loves it, they do so many activities with the children and the setting, grounds and outdoor space is such a big plus. Knowing my daughter is enjoying the outdoors everyday is brilliant. She loves the food and the staff, it's a really friendly environment and the care is amazing. The app is also brilliant at keeping us updated during the day. Highly recommend!

They provide great activities and new opportunities for him to explore. The nursery has great outside space for all rooms and can be outside a lot.

I am very happy with the nursery! The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The food is well received by the children. Rural setting with lots of open space. The children are happy and I would recommend it to other parents.

We are very happy with our son's progress and with the staff. When he first started, he was a bit unsure but with the help of the staff he has really come into his own and has started to develop personally. Please keep up the good work!

A fantastic nursery! My son absolutely loves his nursery days and I feel very confident leaving him in the capable hands of the staff. My son’s development has come so far since going to Potten End Bright Horizons and it has been great to see him make friendships. I also love that he gets a wide variety of home-cooked food. The staff are all wonderful and caring and I love hearing all of the updates at pickup or via the app. An extremely positive experience.

Caring staff and a great setting for the children to roam - they get outdoors regularly with the staff. The nursery app is very helpful and provides an extra communication channel for updates about nutrition and development.

My child loves coming to this nursery, the staff at Potten End are friendly and engaging. They are also very clear about what’s happened every day and provide excellent updates via the app about activities, nutrition and the all-important sleep schedule.

Varied experience for children, friendly and caring staff and lovely setting. Wouldn’t hesitate to send another child here, our second already! Both have really enjoyed their experiences so far and set our first up for school brilliantly.

Love the nursery, the staff are great and my child loves attending.

My daughter is 3 years old and has been attending the nursery since she was 10 months. She has absolutely loved being at the nursery through all the stages and has really developed amazingly. All the staff in all areas of the nursery from the office and within the various rooms are so lovely and have really supported her so well. Brilliant nursery!

Only negative feedback which I think is being resolved is that the current staff need more help!

I'd love to leave a review on the amazing staff at Bright Horizons, they have all been amazing with helping with our decision on whether to send our child to school this coming September, offering us lots of advice and reassurance. Every staff member takes our thoughts into consideration on a daily basis and we are very happy to have Bright Horizons as part of our family life.

My daughter really enjoys attending Potten End Bright Horizons. She is full-time (5 days, 8 am - 6 pm) and really enjoys it. Currently 2 and a half years old, she has been there since 11 months old - and has always had brilliant key workers and support staff. The nursery has really encouraged her learning and development (most recently phonetics) and she was able to complete her potty training with them as well. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery to send their little one to.
