Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Hitchin

My son has been attending Kinders Mill Day Nursery for just over two years and is very happy and settled there. The staff are extremely caring and get to know the children well. They provide a fantastic range of activities including outdoor play, messy play, singing, drawing and reading. They also encourage development relevant to the age and skills of each child and provide formal feedback on this via parents evenings, an online learning journal and a brief update at the end of each day. The food, which is all cooked on site, is organic and varied, I often feel quite jealous when I see the menu! My son has recently moved up to the pre-school class and is just as happy there. He will soon be starting swimming lessons and learning French. I am very happy with the care provided and would certainly recommend Kinders Mill Day Nursery to other parents.

My son has attended Kinders Mill Day Nursery since he was 10 months old (now 16 months) and he absolutely loves it. He has developed good bonds with the staff, who are extremely caring and enthusiastic about their jobs. While he did not like being left at first, the staff helped him settle in quickly, and now he can't wait to go and play each morning. At drop-off, I always see new and exciting activities set up in different areas of the room, and the children are encouraged to explore them in their own ways / time. He has already come on in leaps and bounds since starting at the nursery (a few months ago), and I'm confident that the staff will continue to aid his development. It is an expensive nursery, but it is not the most expensive in Hitchin, and well worth the cost given the quality of the staff, food, and activities on offer each day.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kinders Mill, they have always accommodated changes and always go that extra mile.

And I'm very happy with the alternatives she's given. All the staff are very attentive, thorough & provide a very personal touch with the babies/toddlers. Very comfortable with the environment.

My son started at Kinders Mill Day Nursery at the age of 1. It took him a week or two to settle in, but once he did he absolutely loved the place, and still does! The staff there are brilliant, they are attentive, supportive and just great with the children. One thing I really like about this nursery is the mixed age groups in each class, which I think really helps with development and social interaction. I highly recommend Kinders Mill!

A fantastic nursery. All the staff are highly professional, tentative and extremely helpful. I am at peace when I drop my son off. It's expensive but well worth it. The service is excellent.

This is my second child to attend Kinder Mill as my first child loved it. The staff are very attentive and caring and build solid relationships with the children. They are in a safe environment with plenty to do, lots of activities, great selection of books, music etc. The playground has things like a water feature and a wendy house as well as ride on toys. The play hall is great fun, just like a giant soft play place. The food is all organic and very tasty. There is a good variety of food and it is all cooked on site. There is excellent communication from the management and the invoices are always correct (i've not had a single error in 3 years).

My son started in Little Owls in September and he has learnt so much in such little time. His language skills have improved tremendously and his behaviour and ability to respond to different environments is also improving rapidly. I believe the nursery's encouragement to a level of discipline and independence is really helping him to develop. Most importantly he loves going to nursery so I know he is very happy and well cared for.

At Kinders Mill there is always a warm welcome. the staff work efficiently as a team and communication is excellent. The children are well cared for, educated, developed and encouraged to become independent individuals. They have wonderful messy play time, I would never consider doing at home. The food choice and standard is superb. Both my daughters have been very happy here and I would recommend to anyone seeking childcare.

My son has been at Kinders Mill since January 2014 overall as a nursery Kinders Mill is great and friendly. All the staff seem engaging with the children and there is a lovely atmosphere. The squirrels team are fab, my son's key worker is fab, she always ensures my son is following what we do at home (sleep routines) and helps if we are trying to encourage . We are very happy with the service Kinders Mill offer and feel it has enhanced and helped our sons development over the past 1½ years.
