Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Hitchin

Our son joined the Squirrels room in Hitchin in May 2023. We’re very happy with our experience and have found the staff to be professional and caring. He took a while to settle in, but now enjoys going to nursery and looks forward to the activities. The app is excellent for keeping up to date with what he’s doing and allows for smooth communication between the parents and nursery. The new soft play space is amazing!

Both of my children have attended Kiddi Caru. We have been very happy with the nursery. I have found the staff to be caring and attentive and the children have both thrived here. They have also worked hard to make positive changes to the nursery.

Any new parents, definitely consider this nursery!

My child has been at Kiddi Caru since they were 8 months old. They are now nearly 3 and have a lovely relationship with all the staff. They are happy playing and learning and look forward to going each week. Staff are kind, friendly and approachable and really take an interest in my child’s development and interests. Management are always present and are kind, friendly and approachable too.

I appreciated their attention to detail, which helped our son recover quickly from the infection. Thank you.

So far, I can say all the staff members we have had have interactions with from when our son started have been fantastic, pleasant and always willing to go the extra mile. Even though when our son wasn’t settling in well they kept us informed and tried their very best to get him settled. Now that he’s settled in, he always look forward to the staff's cuddles when he’s dropped off and never wants to leave until he’s picked up. Thanks for all you ongoing support.

Our little girl has attended Kiddi Caru since January 2023. She has settled in well and her confidence and development have both come on leaps and bounds. Communication with staff is excellent and all staff members enquire how she is at drop off and give a detailed handover when we pick her up. The staff put on activities every day and we are getting over-run with her art work! We are really pleased with the nursery and every staff member we have come across.

We started with the nursery in January 2023 and have had great service, high levels of care and professionalism from the team at Kiddi Caru.

We look forward to even great relations as journey with them on this mammoth task of taking care of our kids when we are engaged elsewhere.

Kids are looked after well as per their needs. My son needed attention so we discussed with the team and they are working on him. Satisfied and glad that my kids are going here.

I have been really impressed by Kiddi Caru during the two weeks that my son has been there. The staff are great and I can really tell that they enjoy what they are doing. Food looks and sounds great. I love that he has lots of opportunities to be creative and from the pictures he looks like he’s having a great time.

My daughter has been at Kiddi Caru for 2 years and is now in the preschool room. She has developed lovely relationships with the staff and children and really enjoys going every day. The new app makes communication even easier as well as seeing a rundown of her day. The staff are caring and compassionate. It would be even better if the preschool outside space could be improved and use of the additional building be for something other than storage. Overall, I am really pleased with our experience here.

My daughter does enjoy being in the nursery. She has developed her confidence and her speech is a little better. On her first day of nursery, I got her back with a massive bruise on her face and I asked what happened. They apologised for not filing an accident report and this did make me feel uneasy leaving my daughter in their care. I do feel like I am raising a few issues every few weeks about her nappy rash. And I’m not told about how bad it is until I go home and open the nappy myself to see how sore her bum is. I have asked many times how to help the situation. The staff are all lovely but I feel the handover is not great with communication. There’s an app which I think needs a lot of work but is good to see what she has eaten. I think the outdoor space needs a lot of work compared to nearby nursery’s this nursery needs a lot of work. As my child is settled I decided to stay with this nursery as she does enjoy playing and the children. And again all the staff are so lovely.

All staff are super friendly, kind and informative and would highly recommend the nursery, your children will be made to feel completely at home.

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Hitchin has been an amazing place for our son to begin his nursery journey. From a difficult start (with him being upset to be in a new place), it was o only a couple of weeks before he was excitedly going to the team's arms and coming home full of smiles. We love the utilisation of apps to communicate with us, meaning we get a full rundown of his day (sleep, food, toileting and activities), and the observations are our favourite; pictures of him doing activities or learning. The team also thoughtfully help our son to make things like valentines cards for mummy and daddy, which are so beautiful and a good show of their passion for our children and family. Our team have changed a little over the months, but the current main contacts, all have great relationships with our son, and root for him (as excited as us when he reaches milestones like walking). Highly recommend. (We are in Otters).

We have had a wonderful experience with Kiddi Caru. They were very accommodating when we were making plans to join and also great at communicating. My 18-month-old son has really enjoyed both Otters and Hedgehogs rooms. They are so reassuring at drop-offs, even when our son is upset. Would highly recommend

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery staff have given our son a really good first experience of nursery. He’d only been cared for by parents and grandparents until the age of three so it’s been a big change, but staff were sensitive to that, and I was impressed by how quickly they managed to make him feel safe and engaged. It was also really reassuring to go in to visit and find such a cheerful group of children.

My son and daughter both go to Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and are incredibly happy there. The team that works there are incredibly supportive, and are really friendly and caring towards the children. Both of my children love going and run in each day. A range of activities are offered which they both seem to enjoy and the team are focused on helping them learn and develop. I would highly recommend.

My daughter is really happy there and the staff are great! They are wonderful at updating on her daily activities too and what she has been up to. Would definitely recommend. The location is great too!
