Busy Bees Shenley

Both of my daughters attend this nursery and I feel at ease knowing they are happy and well cared for during their time there. The staff are so friendly and take an interest in your child. The difference is evident that the nursery is under new management and it's a positive step forward for Busy Bees in Shenley. The facilities are second to none, a large outdoor play area which is segregated for each room, the extra paid activities i.e monkeynastix and the range of toys in the room as well as the daily activities is great. The separate eating area is also a tick in the box. Well done and keep it up.

Morning drop-offs have been a lot easier since the staff are more settled in their rooms and the nursery is looking and running lovely! My daughter is thriving!

And to finish, the communication between the nursery and the parents has improved significantly, thank you for that.

My son settled in very well and has flourished at Busy Bees. I receive a lot of compliments on his ability and attitude. He talks about the staff members and his nursery "best friend" all the time at home. He is very well looked after and I am kept up to date on him all the time too.

One thing that really mattered to me was outside play and the nursery is absolutely fantastic with this. The garden area is wonderful and during the Summer I loved nothing more than seeing my son in shorts and a t-shirt running around in the sunshine every day!

The children at the nursery are very well fed with a nutritious and changing menu. My son's allergy is also taken care of.

The staff are great, I feel confident when I leave him there and head to work.

My son is currently attending part-time owing to me being on maternity leave, but when I return to work his brother will be joining him. There is nowhere else I'd want to send them! A special mention for Room Leader who is one in a million!

The management and staff are very dedicated. Improvements to the nursery are ongoing. A happy and safe environment would definitely recommend.

By far the best thing about Busy Bees, are the staff. My son who is now 3, has been attending from 15 months. Regardless of the room/age group the staff tending to him have been superb. The team are caring, enthusiastic, and fun. My boy adores them dearly, but more importantly, I feel safe and assured leaving him every day knowing he is well looked after.

I’m very happy with the care and attention my daughter receives when at the nursery. All staff are very helpful and friendly and I particularly like the nurturing that I can see is given to all children.

My 2 year old has been at Busy Bees for the last 5 months and we are extremely happy with the care and progress she is making. She loves the nursery and all of the team are incredibly caring, nurturing and supportive. It has a lovely outside space, and they're always doing new fun activities. We are very happy at Busy Bees - our daughter started as a baby and is now about to move into pre-school and she genuinely loves the nursery. The huge highlight of Busy Bees for me is the outdoor space and the nurturing environment. We have seen some very positive changes over recent months - parents are kept up to date with frequent newsletters and given reminders of key dates to remember. My daughter’s key worker is fantastic and is a real credit to the organisation. The whole team have so much energy and compassion and put in huge efforts to make every day different - not a day goes by without my daughter doing something new and exciting. I would highly recommend the nursery to prospective parents.

Busy Bees really care for each individual child and it is obvious that they are invested in my child's development.

My daughter has attended the nursery since a baby and is now in preschool. She is very happy there and has become an independant confident little girl. The staff are friendly and always have time to discuss anything regarding your child. The nursery provides a wide range of activities for the children, both indoors and outside in the different garden areas. In the preschool room they have the added benefit of a teacher who helps prepare the children for school.

New manager has made lots of improvements and its noticeable that all of the staff are very happy and that morale is high.

I have had children at Busy Bees Shenley for the past seven years and have always felt reassured that they are well looked after by carers that love children. Both of my children have loved their time there and have made great friends.

Our daughter has been at Busy Bees in Shenley since was 2yrs old and will leave this summer to start school. It is a fabulous nursery which is purpose built and has phenomenal outdoor space.

The staff are all committed and caring and our daughter has thrived there with a great range of activities and an exceptionally high level of early years education.

I highly recommend Busy Bees to anyone with nursery ages children who live or work in the local area.

I am extremely happy with this nursery and shall be sending my second one here as well. My daughter started off in the baby room and is now in preschool. The staff took excellent care of her when she returned back after her hip surgery. They provide a good variety of vegetarian food. Communication between parents and nursery has really improved a great deal in the last few months.

My son has attended this nursery for nearly 8 months and I am very happy with him being there. There is a new manager which has been in place since September and has made a considerable improvement to the feel about the place. In the morning time there are activities laid out to occupy the children before breakfast is served. Extra activities are available by external providers which you can enrol your child on. I feel the staff have a genuine interest in my son - discussing his needs, his interaction and his involvement on a very regular basis. The variety of meals available each is day is very good. The manager keeps you up to date on activities, progress or issues which is very useful and makes you feel more involved.

I think some of the toys/activities in the rooms could do with a refresh but recognise there has been investment in some other areas.

My son has been going to Busy bees in Shenley since June 2016 and he thoroughly enjoys it. The staff are friendly and helpful and he is learning great key skills to get him prepared for school this September.

I currently have 2 children at Busy Bees Shenley. One is in the toddler room and the other in pre-school. I have always been more than happy with the level of care given to my children there. They are the most important little people in my life and I feel confident to leave them in the nursery’s safe and warm hands. All staff members continue to show them love and support and take such interest in their development. My children often talk about their teachers and how much they love playing with them at nursery! My little girl always wants to invite her teachers for play dates and parties :). As a teacher myself, I feel confident that as well as the excellent pastoral care they offer, they also provide stimulating learning environments. My children have thrived throughout their time here and I would recommend the nursery to any of my friends looking for childcare!

Busy Bees at Shenley has done a world of good for our son. He comes home happy and content. During our time at Busy Bees our son has had special developmental needs and the support of all the staff for him and for us has been fantastic. The attention to the child goes beyond their key worker.

The staff and management are very approachable and there is a very inclusive attitude in the nursery.

I was super impressed that when the nursery had to close due to a faulty boiler, the staff found places for all the children in alternative nurseries.

I would like to see a better communication channel facilitated by the nursery for parents to create relationships.
