My daughter started at Busy Bees in Shenley when she just turned 2 years old and I can honestly say that it is the best decision I ever made!
The staff are so friendly and welcoming, got to know Katie very quickly and learnt her little routine i.e she likes a cuddle first thing in the morning before
she gains her confidence to go and sit with her friends and start playing.
The daily information/ emails etc that you receive about your child is second to none. I never had to ask for more information and am always made aware of what she eats, how long she sleeps for, what activities she has done throughout the day etc.
I always have my son with me when I do pick up and the staff are also so engaging with him that he feels part of their family.
There was a recent change in management but I feel it has been such a positive change and would highly recommend anyone to send their children there and feel that my daughter is having the best time and also learning so much!

I am very happy with the care my 1 year old receives at Busy Bees Shenley. He is my third child (but my first to go to this Nursery ) so I know what I want from a daycare. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly they all know his name and greet him with a smile every day. His key worker is very
attentive and focussed on his development.
As a busy working mum it is so great to have somewhere that knows exactly what this means I need - flexible hours, to feed him as much as he needs and to not turn him away if he has a bit of a cold!
The new manager has been doing an amazing job at improving the general organisation and creating a happy community culture.

My son has attended Busy Bees since he was a year old and enjoys his time there. He is now in the preschool room and getting ready for starting school. He is doing very well with his learning letters and numbers. He will miss his time at Busy Bees when he leaves for school in September.

Both my children went to Busy Bees and had a fantastic time. Despite my oldest now being in primary school, we still have play-dates with friends she made at the nursery, it is just that type of environment.
My youngest is in pre-school and is thriving. She is involved in many of the additional activities
that Busy Bees provide and is very attached to her key worker.

My 3-year-old son has flourished since being at Busy Bees for the last 2 years. He has learnt so much about the world around him, can count and his language and cognitive abilities seem to be ahead of a lot of his peers.
He looks forward to going to nursery each day, has made some great friends and
to top it off loves the staff.
We’d wholly recommend Busy Bees to anyone that asks us.

My 7 month old son has recently started attending a few afternoons a week. He has settled in really well. They have been great at making sure the care the provide is unique to him. One example is great vegetarian food and supporting us in our decision to do baby led weaning with him. Very happy. Lovely
outdoor spaces, great variety of toys and activities for the children and a fantastic team of staff.

The nursery is a very nurturing environment that my son enjoys attending. He is well looked after when he's there and enjoys having access to a wide variety of activities to take part in. Communication about what the children have been learning has become extremely thorough and it's lovely having the
opportunity to reinforce what has been taught at nursery when we're at home. All the staff are welcoming and take the time to say hello and goodbye which makes for a friendly atmosphere. There is a lovely outdoor area which the children have year-round access to so they are always able to run off some energy and the small woodland area is perfect for exploring. The nursery's catering is certified by the Vegetarian Society and always looks appetising and varied. It is overall a lovely nursery and I would recommend it.

After having my son in the nursery from the age of 2, all I can say is that he absolutely loves it. He is happy to attend every morning, loves all the staff that work there, and loves all the activities they provide.

My daughter has been at Busy Bees at Shenley now for 4 months and loves nursery. The team are wonderful and she has developed so much in the short time she has been here. I would recommend this nursery to other parents as my daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old. She is now 2 years old and has progressed well and is developing into a well-rounded individual. There has been certain staff that have been outstanding with their support and as a parent

My twins are both so happy there! The manager is great, helpful and always willing to help if needed. The staff are very caring and as a full-time worker mum, I know that my kids are in good care. I think the manager is the best thing that happened to Busy Bees at Shenley for a long time!

My son enjoyed his time at Busy Bees Shenley very much. He enjoyed playing in the forest area in preschool. He made lots of friends and the staff were really friendly and made his time there really happy.

My son has been at Busy Bees at Shenley for just over a year since he turned one. He has grown in confidence and his language has developed extremely well and he is even talking French. The staff have always been considerate and attentive and nurtured his
well-being and development. They are passionate
about their care and their education and food has been exemplary. Their facilities are fabulous and outdoor space is exceptional. We are always greeted with a smile and I have every confidence in their care.

My children have attended the nursery for over three years and I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly. The staff in the nursery are so caring and very nurturing and work hard to deliver the best possible care/environment for my children. If I have ever had any issues I have felt able to speak
to the staff/management to resolve them quickly. Both my children thoroughly enjoy their time here and settled very quickly.

Great staff, good nursery, great range of activities for the children. Need to greatly improve communication via email/text/social media but apart from that, I would recommend. The Manager is very accommodating and helpful. Improvements have been made over the last 6 months.


Recommendation - need

to move quicker with implementing simple parent ideas, every suggestion has to run past head office management which delays implementing.

Wonderful staff are looking after my little boy who is 20 months and the staff are so caring and kind to help him and his learning.

Both my daughters go to Busy Bees at Shenley my eldest has been for almost two years now. Recently my eldest daughter was diagnosed with diabetes. The nursery staff have been amazing at working with us to ensure that her additional needs have been met. From carb counting her meals to giving her daily
injections. It has been a really upsetting time for us as a family and the nursery have provided us with outstanding support even being there with a shoulder to cry on. I have total confidence in the staff and really appreciate the great lengths they go to, to reassure me of my child well being. They are all very professional and caring in what they do. Assets to the children.

Hello, I am Yanique Arabambi and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Shenley Nursery. I have worked in childcare for over 20 years and hold a Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Childcare.


I take pride in working for Busy Bees and have enjoyed working for the company since February 2019. I am very passionate about working with children and supporting them through their learning and development journey. As a Centre Director, I take great pride in leading my team to ensure that every child in our care is given the best start in life.
