Busy Bees Shenley

The staff are wonderful and my sons love them. The food made on the premises gives great variety and my son eats everything!

There has been a couple of changes in management over this period, and there was a period of change, but the new manager has made some very positive changes and it has made a massive difference to staff moral and parent's communication and involvement in the nursery.

I would recommend Bust Bees to anyone.

There was a recent change in management but I feel it has been such a positive change and would highly recommend anyone to send their children there and feel that my daughter is having the best time and also learning so much!

The new manager has been doing an amazing job at improving the general organisation and creating a happy community culture.

My son has attended Busy Bees since he was a year old and enjoys his time there. He is now in the preschool room and getting ready for starting school. He is doing very well with his learning letters and numbers. He will miss his time at Busy Bees when he leaves for school in September.

My youngest is in pre-school and is thriving. She is involved in many of the additional activities that Busy Bees provide and is very attached to her key worker.

We’d wholly recommend Busy Bees to anyone that asks us.

My 7 month old son has recently started attending a few afternoons a week. He has settled in really well. They have been great at making sure the care the provide is unique to him. One example is great vegetarian food and supporting us in our decision to do baby led weaning with him. Very happy. Lovely outdoor spaces, great variety of toys and activities for the children and a fantastic team of staff.

The nursery is a very nurturing environment that my son enjoys attending. He is well looked after when he's there and enjoys having access to a wide variety of activities to take part in. Communication about what the children have been learning has become extremely thorough and it's lovely having the opportunity to reinforce what has been taught at nursery when we're at home. All the staff are welcoming and take the time to say hello and goodbye which makes for a friendly atmosphere. There is a lovely outdoor area which the children have year-round access to so they are always able to run off some energy and the small woodland area is perfect for exploring. The nursery's catering is certified by the Vegetarian Society and always looks appetising and varied. It is overall a lovely nursery and I would recommend it.

After having my son in the nursery from the age of 2, all I can say is that he absolutely loves it. He is happy to attend every morning, loves all the staff that work there, and loves all the activities they provide.

A great nursery that is very caring with engaging staff. Both my children have been very happy here. I particularly like the fact that you offer additional activities like Click IT and football.

My daughter has been at Busy Bees at Shenley now for 4 months and loves nursery. The team are wonderful and she has developed so much in the short time she has been here. My daughter is dropped off early each day and always reaches her arms out to give the staff a cuddle and smile on arrival. A very pleased mum!

I would recommend this nursery to other parents as my daughter has been attending since she was 9 months old. She is now 2 years old and has progressed well and is developing into a well-rounded individual. There has been certain staff that have been outstanding with their support and as a parent I find this to be very reassuring.

My twins are both so happy there! The manager is great, helpful and always willing to help if needed. The staff are very caring and as a full-time worker mum, I know that my kids are in good care. I think the manager is the best thing that happened to Busy Bees at Shenley for a long time!

My son enjoyed his time at Busy Bees Shenley very much. He enjoyed playing in the forest area in preschool. He made lots of friends and the staff were really friendly and made his time there really happy.

My children have attended the nursery for over three years and I couldn't recommend this nursery more highly. The staff in the nursery are so caring and very nurturing and work hard to deliver the best possible care/environment for my children. If I have ever had any issues I have felt able to speak to the staff/management to resolve them quickly. Both my children thoroughly enjoy their time here and settled very quickly.

Great staff, good nursery, great range of activities for the children. Need to greatly improve communication via email/text/social media but apart from that, I would recommend. The Manager is very accommodating and helpful. Improvements have been made over the last 6 months.

Recommendation - need to move quicker with implementing simple parent ideas, every suggestion has to run past head office management which delays implementing.

Wonderful staff are looking after my little boy who is 20 months and the staff are so caring and kind to help him and his learning.

I am very happy with the nursery and with the baby room. My daughter is always happy when I pick her up. The management team are always helpful and very informative.

Both my daughters go to Busy Bees at Shenley my eldest has been for almost two years now. Recently my eldest daughter was diagnosed with diabetes. The nursery staff have been amazing at working with us to ensure that her additional needs have been met. From carb counting her meals to giving her daily injections. It has been a really upsetting time for us as a family and the nursery have provided us with outstanding support even being there with a shoulder to cry on. I have total confidence in the staff and really appreciate the great lengths they go to, to reassure me of my child well being. They are all very professional and caring in what they do.
