Our little girl has attended Busy Bees Letchworth for seven months and we are delighted with the care she receives. We comment in her baby diary every evening and read updates on her progress and daily activities. She only attends until 2pm each day, but we pay full time to allow flexibility. The nursery nurses are keen to understand the activities we do at home so they can encourage the same things in nursery, It's great to be able to work together.
My son has attended Busy Bees since he was 5 months old and we love it. It is such a lovely friendly place and the staff have helped him become a confident little boy. He has learnt so much from nursery and genuinely enjoys coming every week.
We have been delighted with the level of care at Busy Bees in Letchworth, which my child has attended for 18 months now. Staff are warm, friendly and kind and are very attuned to the children's needs - I cannot praise them highly enough. I always feel that my child is safe and well cared for and he loves coming to nursery and talks extensively about all the fun things he does and friends he has made. The diversity of activities available is excellent, helping him develop in areas that match his interests as well as encouraging him to try new things. Meet the Team (3)
Christie has worked for Busy Bees for over 5 years and holds a level 3 in childcare and development. Christie manages the 2-3yr olds and is our settings Childcare representative. Christie works alongside the manager to continually reflect on the quality of education by helping children to grow and develop key skills, we prepare them for their next big step in life school.
Kayleigh has worked at the nursery for over 15yrs with outstanding knowledge and experience and is based in the baby room and holds a level 3 in childcare and education. Kayleigh is passionate and dedicated to her role and has a huge impact on the atmosphere. The team she leads deliver exceptional care and create exciting experiences for our babies.
I joined the nursery in August 2018 and I am the Centre Director. I hold a Level 3 in Childcare and development and have a background in nursing. I am passionate about children’s well-being and mental health. My belief is that children learn best through play and that adults should take their lead from the child. I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the nursery. I am married and have two beautiful children.
I enjoy reading, cooking and walking my dogs in my spare time.
