Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City

We are so happy here and really glad that we chose Busy Bees Welwyn.

My little one joined Busy Bees at ~9 months old - he had some fantastic settling in sessions to help him acclimatise before starting 4 days a week. The manager and the team were always on hand to help us parents to understand what's going on, explaining everything to first time nervous parents! They use a fantastic app to keep parents up to date with what the kids are up to (nappies, food, sleeps) and observations / developmental updates which is great. They move through different level rooms around development stages rather than a specific age which is nice. The food is amazing, how the fantastic staff get my fussy child to eat almost anything is baffling - now 2 yrs old unless its fish fingers I can't get it down him! Each child is assigned a key worker who is in charge of their development and tracking it - all have been wonderful. They spend a good amount of time outside exploring and have different themes to their learning each week.

With the current situation, I have seen my one-year-old benefit from the nursery environment even more. He had settled in so nicely thanks to the staff and getting exposed to different things as well as some much needed social interaction. I would thoroughly recommend the nursery.

Our daughter has been attending the nursery since October 2019, she started at 10 months old. The nursery staff are fantastic and very supportive. Our little girl loves her carers and enjoys a wide range of activities. Her confidence has really grown she really enjoys going. Choosing the right nursery was very important to us and we have been very impressed with everyone there since day 1. The support and insight they provide are great, daily feedback is provided to us along with lots of beautiful keepsakes. During the pandemic, their approach has been excellent and very professional with everyone’s safety at the forefront of their minds, the whole time. I would highly recommend Busy Bees and have no doubt that we made the right choice.

The nursery has been really great during the pandemic, keeping parents informed of processes and also ensuring they keep our children safe as well as the staff. Although the nursery is operating a new normal with temperature checking, PPE and extra hand washing, my son has adjusted fine to this and this is down to the staff.

My son attends Busy Bees and he really enjoys it. The staff are excellent and so attentive to his needs. They provide him with a wide range of activities and opportunities to learn and are always happy, friendly and approachable. The nursery itself is set out well and he has plenty of space to play both indoors and outdoors. The management team are fantastic and great with any questions or queries we have. A lovely place and we feel really confident leaving him knowing he is in great hands.

My little boy started in Sept 2019 and we are so happy with the nursery and the staff. The Manager and Assistant Managers are very welcoming and are always there to answer questions or for support. When my little boy was settling in he was supported by the key person and the staff within his room. He enjoys his time at nursery and particularly loves the nursery food and menu there is such a range of dinners. He loves accessing the garden area throughout the day. We couldn’t ask for a better nursery it has really helped with the transition for my wife going back to work.

Busy Bees is a lovely nursery and the staff are fantastic. They go above and beyond for not only the children but the parents too. My children have been attending on a part-time basis since the age of one and it’s a massive comfort to know that when they’re dropped off in the morning they’re going to have a fully enjoyable day! The nursery itself has such a lovely atmosphere - all the staff know the children’s names, not just the children that are in their room. Both my children’s confidence levels have increased greatly since attending Busy Bees and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to others.

Very pleasant, stimulating atmosphere for children, very welcoming for parents. Child is happy and learning and playing.

I’m really impressed with Busy Bees in Welwyn Garden City, my daughter has developed hugely and would highly recommend my family and friends children to attend.

I have always been happy with the care at the nursery. The main thing is that all the staff know the children - and always say hello. It’s so friendly and inviting and I know my son not only enjoys his time here he also learns a lot - from social interactions, key skills and just being part of the group it’s wonderful for him.

Overall, my partner and child have experienced great respectfulness, cleanliness, staff all calibres are friendly, approachable and our child always wants more excitement, adventures and love the very next day due, even over the weekends. We couldn't ask for more delight and happiness within our child and pre-school journey.

Despite having to transition from another nursery we loved and was loyal to from 1 year old, Busy Bees have made our transition smooth, consolable and understanding. We are very grateful and appreciate their skills of understanding, need and transformation to another safe place for our child.

Our son is so happy here. All of the staff are so happy and inviting. Our son LOVES coming to nursery which is so important to us as working parents. We need to know our children are safe and cared for and we truly feel this at this nursery.

The ladies at Busy Bees are an extended part of our family as far as me and my little one are concerned. They're so great with her and she gets excited on the way to work when she recognizes where she's going. I've never seen a more happy and confident little girl, and I credit Busy Bees as much as my partner and I for her continuing growth. It makes it so much easier as a mummy to leave her at the nursery when I know how much she's flourishing and how much she enjoys it. She's learnt how to use cutlery, new words, has a very keen interest in dolls and books and socialises freely - which is so wonderful to observe. Busy Bees are experts in what they do and I trust them to do what's right for her and her development. I can see the difference every week and can't thank them enough for their continuing support.

My 17-month-old daughter is extremely happy and content at Busy Bees in Welwyn Garden City. I personally feel that a nursery is only as good as it’s staff and I think the staff at Busy Bees are fabulous. Really friendly and helpful. They really care about the kids. I thoroughly recommend this nursery.

It took me about 2 weeks and soon I felt assured that my baby was in good hands! In fact being looked after by people who had many many more years of experience than I had. I was given good answers and phone calls attended every time I called to find out how my baby was. I had his daily progress on the app as well as the end of each day at pick up. I am very happy that my son is developing and learning in such a lovely environment. The staff are all brilliant from room to front office to the kitchens. Always a smile and friendly chat.

Also, the flexibility of having a term-time place is perfect for us, as our daughter has an elder sibling that we need to find care for in the holidays anyway. So we just pay for the days we need in the holidays.

Our little boy loves coming to nursery. He is always welcomed with happy, friendly staff and has a great time completing all the activities provided. He loves the food and most of the time has second helpings. He is always happy when I pick him up. I couldn't think of a better nursery to send him to.

I was worried when gaining guardianship of our little boy considering the start he had in life but Busy Bees have been amazing. All the staff are polite, welcoming and very easy to get along with. Also with our little boy coming from a family who have a background of learning disabilities, I was worried about his development but after a year of being here he is developing well in all areas and within his age group as well. The food is of high quality and the price includes nappies, wipes and food. I cannot thank the nursery enough for everything they do.

My daughter came to the nursery from the age of 9 months and was here until she was 4. She absolutely loved it here and was really sad when the time came for her to leave.

I have now brought my son to the nursery and he is currently in Flamingos. The staff have been so loving and welcoming to him. At the start, he was a little upset due to it being the first time in a nursery but now he completely loves it here, he has learnt so much in such a short space of time being here. He has a very close relationship with his carers.

Both children have allergies and the nursery have always catered for their needs and made sure they never came into contact with their allergens.

The manager and team are very lovely and welcoming, they are very approachable if I ever have a query or a general question.
