Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City

The staff have been really helpful at offering extra advice regarding childcare funding options and answering my questions about their centre processes. It’s amazing how the office staff recognise and remember all the parents and children's names, which I have observed at pickups. It’s that personal touch that made me feel welcome from the start. The settling in sessions offered has made a difference, for both my child and me. They have given me a great start and the key worker is so caring and really knows my child well. I am so happy with this provision and definitely recommend it.

My son has been at Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City for nearly 2-years now and he absolutely loves it there. The staff are all excellent and provide a very high standard of care, listening and engaging in my son’s interests. The staff have dealt really well with the Covid-19 situation and provided clear communication throughout and reassurance that our son is safe and that our needs are listened to as parents. The app works well to get updates and the staff are always happy to make time to discuss anything. The activities they do are interesting and varied and my son always goes in happily and has created such a lovely bond with the staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Our son started at Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City in October 2021 as I returned to work. We have been delighted by the love and support they have given him, and us as parents. The team are fantastic and has helped our son grow and develop so much. He happily walks into the nursery every day and comes out with a smile on his face. The activities are good and our son seems to enjoy them. The app updates are a bonus and certainly, when he started they were a real reassurance. We'd highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City has been so welcoming to my little girl. She had a terrible start in her other nursery and immediately felt safe and secure at Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City when she started. This is down to the staff and how amazing they are. Thank you so much for supporting my daughter through her transition and for reassuring me as her mum. As a parent, you only want the best for your children and ultimately for them to be happy. I know when I drop my daughter off that she is getting the very best out of her day.

An absolutely lovely nursery that is really child-focused. They keep us well informed, involved and listen to the parent's really well. We use reusable nappies and they didn't bat an eyelid, they were happy to use them and we've not had any problems with them. They are also really understanding at times when you need to be that Mum and phone them for reassurance about your child, such as when they're settling into a new room or have been poorly. My little girl is really happy there and the carers have formed great little bonds with her. They also managed to get her to sleep on the very first day when she'd refused to do anything but contact nap for me. They are kind and responsive about sleep in particular. Really happy with our choice and kind of jealous of the lunch menu!

Great nursery with really caring staff. Children have a varied and exciting time at Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City which really helps them develop, with fun themed weeks often around Calendar events, we have seen our son really develop well over the years that he has been there. We also love the well thought out meal plans which are all nutritionally balanced for their needs.

My 16 month old boy has been going to Busy Bees for the past 5 weeks and we’ve had a fantastic experience so far. He is always so happy when we collect him and is obviously enjoying his time there, especially the outside space. The food is made fresh on-site and there is a wide variety. We are kept up to date by both the Parent Zone app and a lovely report slip at the end of each day. All the staff are so friendly and caring. I cannot recommend Busy Bees in Welwyn Garden City enough.

We have been going to this nursery for 2 years now and both my son and I are happy with it. The nursery is managed by the manager who has been working there for more than 10 years, she provides excellent leadership and ensures that staff provides consistent care and all parent queries are addressed as soon as possible. The overall attitude is friendly and you always feel welcome as a parent. I feel I can express my concerns and these will be addressed appropriately. If your child has special needs, the nursery will work with you to make things happen and it is reassuring to see that your child needs come first here. I also have to praise the nursery how they dealt with COVID situation and how quickly they were able to provide a safe environment. Overall, very happy with the nursery and would not hesitate to recommend this to my friends and family.

My daughter looks forward to going to nursery every day and even wants to go on Saturdays and Sundays some weeks! All the staff are wonderful and always friendly, welcoming, accommodating and passionate about the care they provide the children. The activities the children do are engaging, fun, educational, and really well thought out and planned. We really like the ParentZone feedback that we get which means we can see information on sleeping and eating throughout the day and love seeing the observations that are posted which give us an insight into how our daughter is playing, learning and developing.

I was a first-time mum leaving my son (11 months at the time) at nursery and I was very anxious but all the staff at busy bees helped reassure me. My son wasn't a great eater with finger foods etc so the cook always made sure he had a mashed version of the dinner as well just in case he couldn't handle the normal one. The manager helped to reassure me when I was worried he wasn't settling (seemed upset to go etc). The ladies who looked after him were amazing and really helped my son to settle into his room and I absolutely loved looking at all his observations and the parent zone app was very useful when I needed reassurance about what he had eaten. I highly recommend busy bees in Welwyn Garden City what a lovely group of people there. Thank you for everything. Xx

Busy Bees in Welwyn Garden City is an excellent environment. Both of my children have attended here and thrived. Feels like an extension of the family with great values. The staff are excellent and will work with the parents for the benefit of the child. Nothing is ever too much. It’s been a great experience and relieving to know that my son is in caring hands.

My daughter went to Busy Bees a few years ago, so when we had another child there really wasn't any question to which nursey he would go to. The staff at Busy Bees are always friendly and helpful, and the care they have provided for my children is impeccable. One of the key factors in taking our children to Busy Bees is that they are fed healthy homemade food for lunch and snacks, and have the best possible care. When my daughter left, you could see genuine sadness in their eyes that they wouldn't see her every day, that to me says everything about the nursery.

Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City has been great for my kids, one has now left after 4 years whilst the other has been attending for just over a year. They both love the setting and always have lots of fun with great activities set up for them to explore. Both have built up great relationships with the carers who are all lovely. The activities my daughter did in the preschool have set her up so well for starting school, from learning numbers and letters to sharing and taking turns, and she loved going to the teaching and learning room and doing science experiments, maths and logic activities. Alongside this they've had the chance to try a wide variety of foods with the rotating seasonal menus which are freshly cooked on site.

This was the first nursery that I looked for my little boy, and it was the one! He absolutely loves it there, and the staff are amazing. Everything is provided such as meals, nappies, suncream etc so all you have to do is drop your child off and they are taken care of! Couldn’t recommend enough and I’ll be sending his little brother in his footsteps as soon as he’s older too!

Welwyn Garden City branch of Busy Bees is fantastic. Our experience of the staff has always been very positive in terms of communication and enthusiasm. Both of our children have been very happy there and have developed a good foundation to continue learning, and have built secure relationships with both carers and peers. I have visited many nurseries as we have moved out of the area, but none of the other nurseries had the same feel and warmth. The manager is nothing short of excellent, and this is also reflected in the staff.

He’s learning a lot from the nursery.

My daughter loves Busy Bees. She barely even glances backwards as she runs through the door in the morning! All the staff are lovely and helpful, and I'm confident she's getting excellent care. The app lets me know what she's eaten and how much she's slept, which is good to know, and she comes home with lots of lovely art. We're so glad we picked Busy Bees.

He also enjoys the activities prepared by the staff and loves being surrounded by his little friends.
