Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City

My family and I have been very fortunate to have been part of Busy Bees in Welwyn Garden City. The staff could not be any better, they are warm, welcoming and a very friendly bunch. Both my children have attended the nursery and received exceptional childcare. The nursery and staff have really helped to prepare my children for school. I believe they have learnt so much. The staff really have been an extension to our family and I can not thank them enough. I am sure we will continue to keep in touch with the nursery and staff for many years to come.

Great staff, lovely atmosphere! Feel rather relieved that our son has settled in very quickly and always seems to enjoy his nursery time - definitely happy with our choice.

Our daughter is 3 in March 2018 and has attended Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City since she was 6 months old. She has a heart condition so we needed to pick the nursery that we felt were best placed for her care and from day one they have been outstanding. Rather than shy away from her health issues they embraced them and nothing was too much trouble. They do a wide variety of activities and the nursery has been excellent with helping us with potty training. She is encouraged by everyone at the nursery and the food served is varied and she eats well. I love the app that they use to communicate how she has been during the day and what she has eaten, slept etc. as it is in real time I don't have to wait until I pick her up to see what she has been up to. Photos are regularly updated onto it so its lovely to see what she gets up to at nursery. We can't rate the care and attention that she gets highly enough and would 100% recommend this nursery to any other parents.

I have no hesitation in recommending Busy Bees in Welwyn Garden City to other families. We now have two children attending the nursery part-time (3 years and 10 months). Right from the start, staff were welcoming, caring and supportive to ensure that our children have been happy, settled and engaged through creative play. The children have access to a wide range of activities and experiences and have a lovely outside space per room. The management team run a tight ship and have a positive ethos which provides confidence and peace of mind. Staff really get to know each child as an individual and have provided advice e.g. on potty training, which has been invaluable. The nursery menus offer healthy varied choices which go down very well with our usually fussy toddler. Our eldest has gained a great deal of confidence and independence since attending, building positive relationships and making really good friends. Our baby is feeling right at home there, even after her first sessions.

I enjoy seeing my granddaughter smiling and happy when I collect her from nursery. She is always busy playing with the range of resources. The staff make the collection process seamless.

My daughter loves coming here and settled very well. She seems to enjoy the food and loves all the learning opportunities.

Since my daughter started Busy Bees they have been more than welcoming, attentive and positive about all aspects of care. They have also been very accommodating to the medical needs that my daughter has and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure she is well. The management were extremely helpful when booking her in and setting her days ensuring that it would suit my needs. As an EYFS Teacher myself I witness outstanding care at all times.

An outstanding nursery with lovely and caring staff, who build fantastic relationships with the parents as well as the children. The communication between the nursery and parents is exceptional.

We absolutely love sending our children here and would recommend to everyone.

Our child has been here since eleven months old and gone through all age rooms. The care for his emotional, social, physical and developmental needs has always been to a high standard. The onsite catering is fantastic, management team extremely supportive and staff generally very caring but they also expect and instil good behaviours as well as encouraging play and learning. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Busy Bees in Welwyn is a very friendly nursery. All of the staff are smiley, welcoming and approachable and you can tell that they really care for the children. My daughter really enjoys her time there!

Our 2-year-old son has been attending Busy Bees since he was 9 months old for one day a week. He absolutely loves his day at nursery and gets so much out of it. His emotional and physical development has been hugely helped by attending Busy Bees, as well as his language. We were initially attracted to the setting because of the freedom the children have to go outside whatever the weather and our son always mentions how much he loves playing in the garden.

The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and our son is always talking about them and asking about them at home. They are great at staying in touch with parents and letting you know what your child has been up to. They have lots of fun days with dress up days for the kids and a summer and Christmas fair which provide a great way to get to know the staff and other parents.

I would highly recommend Busy Bees to other parents.

Our daughter loves going to Busy Bees and she is very happy there. The staff are fantastic - friendly, caring and attentive - and they have recently been very supportive in helping our daughter with her medicines and exercises for her poorly knee. As parents, it is very important our daughter has a varied and balanced diet so we love the variety of food she eats and that all the food is homemade - they never seem to run out of ideas for meals! We also love all the creative and outside activities the children engage in.

This nursery has everything my daughter could wish for, nurturing environment, friendly staff and a sense of independence where needed. She has thrived in this environment. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others in the area.

All my interactions with staff members have been positive and if I have had to raise anything it's been dealt with quickly.

My only bit of feedback would be on communication between the office, caring staff and parents. This can sometimes be missed, but overall I'm very happy with this nursery and it's a weight off my mind. I don't have to worry about him whilst I'm at work.

Both our children have attended Busy Bees part time since they were a year old. The staff have always been fantastic and it's obvious that they have a great relationship with our children. The facilties are great and the food freshly prepared for each meal. On the odd occasion when one of them has been a bit tearful at drop off, the response has always reassuring and kind and even followed up with a call to say that they are fine and playing happily. We can't fault the care and nurturing that our children have been given from their first day.

All of the staff are friendly and approachable whether it is to ask for advice or to just have a good giggle with on a wet and dreary morning. Our son is so happy at the nursery and it shows in his development! Thank you. x

My daughter always looks forward to her time at Busy Bees. The staff are so friendly and always take the time to get to know your child and family, which makes me feel confident in leaving my child as I know she is getting the best possible care.

My 21 month old son has attended here since he was 7 months old. He has various food allergies and they have been nothing but accommodating! They keep his diet varied and healthy without putting him at risk, and if he has had a minor reaction whilst there he has been incredibly well looked after. All of the staff are fantastic and my son loves his days there. The facilities are great and they help maintain your home routine.
