Yellow Dot is fantastic. I have to say I had reservations moving my eldest at about 18 months over to a new nursery (Yellow Dot), as he bonded so well with the girls running the previous outfit and had made friends there. However, once he was at Yellow Dot it was evident we’d made the right call.
The facilities are great, my youngest is an outdoors lover (even more than usual at that age) and adores the sand pit and various games he can get on with outside. There is lots of themed role play and different toys inside.
The atmosphere is always very friendly and positive, which of course is essential to help these little guys grow stronger and more confident.
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending North Baddesley Yellow Dot to all and sundry, the only problem you may have is there is likely to be a waiting list! It’s a very popular local childcare provider.
Fantastic day nursery for preschool children, plenty of outdoor space and each day has a new and exciting activity planned. The staff genuinely care for the children and the children adore the staff. My little girl runs in happily each morning and that gives me peace of mind knowing that she is happy. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone. It's a truly special place.
So many activities done with the children as well as time spent in the huge garden overlooking the forest, my boys absolutely love it and I highly recommend this nursery/Pres school. There is a lot of patience and the staff allow the children to develop their own way and support the learning through different ways.
This has been my son's 3rd nursery and I just wish I had come here the first time, never have I experienced a nursery which does so many things and gives parents opportunities to see their children flourish.
Management are great and will always be there for support when needed.
Only attends one day a week but she loves it and looks forward to it by getting her bag ready and saying"Nursey".
Food and activities are varied and it's always clean.

The facilities are great. The food is so varied.
But this nursery cannot run as well as it does without the wonderful management team. The manager is very approachable and her door is always open to parents. Any queries or problems are sorted quickly. She replies to emails asap too. Always opens the nursery door with a smile and happy to see you. She deserves much praise, lucky company.
My son has attended Yellow Dot in North Baddesley since he was 9 months old and is now in Kindergarten. He has always loved going and has grown and developed so much. I am forever in awe of the staff who are all truly fantastic and manage a smile when I’m sure they must be shattered at the end of the day! They pack a range of activities and experiences into every day and really do cater for every child. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Yellow Dot and I’m looking forward to our second child attending enjoying all of the experiences available too. Thank you for all you do!
My daughter loves attending this nursery. The staff are so friendly and I feel happy in the knowledge that they are taking care of my child and she is safe and secure. Their range of resources and the activities they plan for the children is fantastic and she is happy to eat a variety of food there. Thoroughly recommend it.

Hello, I am Lucy the Nursery Manager,
I've always been very passionate about working with children and young people. I have worked in a number of Education and Early Years settings with ages from 4months-16years.
Before joining Bright Horizons I worked as a manager in a special needs residential school. I have 8 years of leadership experience and have been a manager within Bright Horizons for four years.
The Early Years are the most important years in a child's life which is why I am so passionate about providing consistent outstanding care for each individual.
I ensure the children are welcomed with open arms in a home from home environment where we build strong, nurturing attachments and provide new enriching learning opportunities each day.
It is paramount that each individual feels safe and secure to allow them to thrive, meet their true potential and become successful young adults!
We are one big nursery family, come and join us!
I have been working in childcare with a Level 3 qualification for 10 years and started with Bright Horizons in 2019. I adore working with children; every day is an adventure! As a man working in childcare, I feel I add an extra dynamic to the care and learning that we promote on a daily basis. I look forward to meeting you.
