Hopscotch Day Nursery Portswood

We couldn't be happier with the warm welcome and care provided for our three boys since they started in September. They absolutely love going to nursery. They are learning so much and talk lots about what they've been up to when they come home. Communication is excellent and the whole team are friendly and genuinely care about each child. Sending our children here is the best decision we have made and I would highly recommend it.

My daughter loves coming here and is asking all the time to come - even at the weekend. The staff are amazing, and all genuinely love what they do! She loves all the activities that is provided. I get to see lots of observations about my child's learning and play.

Our daughter settled in very quickly to Hopscotch and has built great bonds with all staff members, especially her key worker. Every member of the team we have interacted with is caring and has great knowledge of our daughter's day and needs. We receive regular updates with the app which we love and treasure, seeing the fun activities they get up to. We have also been very impressed with the variety on the menu, which our daughter loves. Our daughter loves the outdoors and currently the space they have is great, but a little small. We look forward to when all the renovations are finished and there is a bigger outdoor space for all the children to enjoy as the plans sounds very exciting!

We are really satisfied with all the aspects of childcare. Our son is happy every time he sees the staff members, they are very nice and patient. They provide us with photos and detailed description of our son's activities through the app. Although our son's social skills aren't the best, he was able to make friends very soon. He is also really satisfied with the food provided.

Staff is so friendly and Management does their duty perfectly. I am happy about receiving regular updates of my child's activity and food intake. Overall my child enjoys her day at nursery.

We transferred our daughter from another nursery and she instantly took to Hopscotch where she had still been crying on the door of her old nursery. The staff have been amazing at keeping us updated on her progress and activities and it couldn't have been a more positive outcome for what could have been a difficult transition! Such a huge relief and a happy toddler, thank you so much!

Our daughter started here as soon as it opened and we are so happy with the nursery. She always looks forward to going in, and she has so much fun whilst she is there with staff. We have already seen how much she has learnt, she loves it and so do we! Thank you!

I was so apprehensive about sending my baby to nursery as she was so anxious being around with strangers. To my surprise, she settled in nicely and without any concern. Her tears changed into a smile soon. Looks so lovely when she says miss. I am sure the Hopscotch team would manage her and take care of her better. Good luck hopscotch.
