Tops Day Nurseries: Portsmouth Nursery

Both of my children go to Tops Day Nursery and love it! They always come home and talk about all the things they have been doing throughout the day. Staff are all friendly and helpful especially in preschool 1! My little girl took a long time to settle into nursery and the staff were very helpful and considerate. Would highly recommend this nursery!!

Lovely nursery onsite QA. Lovely caring staff and nothing is ever too much trouble. My son is very happy here, I loved that you can turn up and look around any time and the flexible booking is great for us.

My daughter has been attending Tops Day Nursery - Portsmouth since she was 6 months old. Super flexible with timings allowing you to book extra sessions at last minute is great. Staff are kind, gentle and actually care about the children. My daughter is now 2 and we started toilet training at home. The staff have been amazing at being consistent And advising me when I have asked questions. My daughter is finding it hard at the moment as moved to a new room and staff are supporting her well and able to give me full feedback on her day. Lovely nursery and my daughter loves it (usually lol). It's great hearing her talk about the staff at home whilst giggling or remembering what she had done with one of them.

Always committed to the children's fun and games, extremely helpful in accommodating last minute changes. Very flexible in admission times for permanent and emergency bookings. Friendly and professional on the telephone.

Well, what can I say about Tops Day Nursery - Portsmouth? This is better than the one that my son was at. At Tops Day nursery, they are all in same age group and there are only 9 children in a room with 3 teachers. If I go back to work soon, I will definitely send him back there.

When my daughter first started here, I was on the phone every day to make sure she was OK as a previous nursery was not a good experience for either herself or me. I was always made to feel welcome. The first few weeks were hard for her to adjust but now she is asking to stay longer which is great. I also like the fact that all the staff are always friendly and seem to know all the children by name which is great.

Brilliant nursery, staff genuinely care about the wellbeing of the babies and children. Would and have already recommended to other parents. The range of activities available is excellent as is the flexibility to meet the needs of each child.

Our daughter really enjoys nursery and has close bonds with her key workers. We find her speech progressing and she uses a wider vocabulary. Food nutrition is excellent, the menus are healthy and changed often meaning my daughter gets to try a variety of foods.

We can see from the drawings/paintings that she enjoys her daily activities when she is at nursery, her creativity shows at home as well.

The Eylog app is very informative of her day although time stamps added to meal times and nappy changing would be handy.

Overall, Tops Portsmouth offers the best care and service we could have hoped for; for our daughter. We would recommend this nursery to family and friends especially if you require flexible hours like we do.

This is an absolutely fantastic nursery. My little boy is so happy with the friendly and caring staff, and always is well cared for whilst there. The nursery is very happy to receive phone calls from parents at any time, which made my going back to work so much easier. They also regularly update me on my sons progress with photos and videos, and always make me feel at ease. The food is nutritionally balanced, and I feel costs are very reasonable considering the amount of flexibility I have with his nursery bookings. I love this nursery!

Knowing my children are safe and happy is reassuring and having the option to vary the days and hours they attend makes this a fantastic nursery for our family.
