Tops Day Nurseries: Portsmouth Nursery

The addition of cooking school is a lovely touch, that my daughter looks forward to every week.

My son started at Tops Day Nurseries: Portsmouth Nursery at 10 months old. The staff are all so caring and he loves going every day. He's learned so much and eats so well. I know he's in good hands and feel so informed by staff on what's happening when he's there. They take the time to talk to you and share pictures. I couldn't imagine him going anywhere else!

Lovely staff, all super friendly. My son is happy to go every day. He especially enjoys Forest School run by a man who is awesome. Booking is always quick and easy and last-minute discount bookings are a real lifesaver.

Also, I was paying a fortune for nothing in return, now I am paying literally half the amount in her new nursery which is now very much attached to it's teachers.

Absolutely amazing nursery. The staff are fantastic - every single one of them! Can't fault it in any way at all. 100% recommend. Always in very safe hands and never had to worry about them. Always happy to go...

My daughter has attended Tops since she was 10 months old. She has gained such a good relationship with every single member of staff. The staff love my daughter as if she were their own, and I couldn’t ask for anyone better to leave her with. From around 18 months we knew my daughter wasn’t developing how she should be alongside her peers. The SENCO (Special Education Needs Coordinator) was amazing and listened to all my worries and concerns. She then referred to all professionals who were needed. Because of Tops I was able to get an autism diagnosis at the age of just 3. This wouldn’t have been possible without Tops. I owe every person so much, thank you for all being amazing, kind, and understanding. And thank you for prepping my darling for big girl school.

I honestly cannot praise the nursery enough and I am so pleased to see that they have recently been moved back to Good by Ofsted as it is thoroughly deserved.

I cannot praise this nursery enough, they have helped and supported my little man in the transition for him to start school in September. They all have the children’s best interests at heart and they go above and beyond for them. Thank you very much for everything you have done and more.

Excellent High 5's holiday club which both our children attend having been at Tops before they went to school. The staff are lovely and really caring. They are given opportunities to learn and develop and do really great activities. Everyone is so friendly and kind. Would strongly recommend it for children of all ages up to school and for holiday clubs.

I was apprehensive as to how he would react to a new space and people, however, we found the nursery very welcoming and my son was very happy to go inside with the caregiver and settled in immediately. When I picked him up in the afternoon he was in great spirits and spoke about the wonderful day he had and all the activities he did at his 'special nursery'.

My two children love nursery, they both started and struggled with separation but Tops Nursery made them feel so comfortable they settled quicker than I thought and love going. This makes going to work so much easier.

My son started here in November and I could not fault the nursery at all. He has blossomed into a confident and bright young man thanks to all the nursery workers. They are excellent at communication and making sure to keep me up to date with my son's progress. My son needs a little extra help in certain areas and they have gone above and beyond to assist me with this. All the staff are lovely and efficient. I feel confident in recommending this nursery to anyone!

My son is extremely happy at the nursery and skips through the doors every day. I have had a great experience dealing with the staff and would definitely recommend other parents to ensure their child attends here. Prior to coming to nursery, my son was socially withdrawn around others which was due to the pandemic and limited interaction. Since then he has grown massively in confidence and I credit that to how much he enjoys the nursery. I have also found the admin to be very helpful in any queries regarding change of hours and flexible with changes I have had to make fairly quickly. I feel he has been well prepared for primary school and will be sad to leave.

My daughter has attended Tops since she was 7 months old and now is 3 years old. She always has the biggest smile on her face and runs into the nursery when attending or towards the staff here with open arms. This to me is a telltale sign as a parent, that she feels comfortable and safe being here. The staff at Tops have always been extremely accommodating to her and kept myself and her father in the loop with her development needs, working alongside her external therapies also. It is nice to feel my daughter is a part of something like she does at Tops. They are always accommodating and extremely flexible with the work patterns of shift workers.

My daughter has been attending Top Day Nursery since she was 14 months old, settling in immediately and seems to really enjoy going. All the staff are always nice and helpful. I recently attended a stay-and-play session, there are so many activities to do as well as a very large garden to play in. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Staff are very welcoming and understands my child's needs. The receptionist is very nice. They could improve with their food options, other than that, I am happy with the overall services. My child loves going to the nursery and learn new activities.

I'm so happy with the choice we made in putting our son in Tops Day Nursery Portsmouth, QA hospital site. All of the staff from the admin team, chefs and caregiving team are all so personable, approachable, friendly, caring, helpful and professional. I couldn't be happier since my son has joined the tops family, he has come on so well in his development and confidence I know a big part of this is down to the fabulous team/family. Thank you and continue what you guys do, you're all awesome.
