Tops Day Nurseries: Winchester Nursery

The nursery manager and the team make the nursery a great place for care. They are kind and professional and provide a safe, caring environment which allows learning and development. Both of my children have attended since 10 months and I have always felt confident in the care they provide. They are flexible and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Two of my children have attended Tops Day Nurseries: Winchester Nursery and we've been really happy with it. They've only attended one day a week so it has been a bit hard for them to feel completely settled but this is not at all due to the staff, who are always very welcoming and spend time helping them to settle in. The communication from management is exceptional and they always respond promptly to any concerns or questions we have. The staff are all super friendly and clearly passionate about their roles. Sometimes we would have liked a few more observations as we didn't get them every day but that's really only a minor issue for some constructive feedback purposes! We will miss Tops a lot!

Tops Day Nurseries: Winchester Nursery has been a fantastic nursery for my son. From the moment I meet the manager and looked round I know it was the place for him. My son has moved through two rooms and I can't praise all the staff highly enough. Their attitude, support and care are second to none and my son has come on leap and bounds with their support. Would highly recommend and we will greatly miss seeing everyone as my son moves on to school.

Our son went to Tops Winchester for two years and had a great time. The team kept us well informed in person and with messages via the app. We were most impressed by the flexibility offered, including early opening and late closing times, which suited our work patterns well. Overall, very pleased and grateful for the way they looked after our son.

My son has only been going to this nursery for a short while, but I am overwhelmed with the professionalism and kindness of the people that work there. I love all the updates we get in the day! As I and my partner are in the armed forces, we need to have the flexibility that this nursery does; it works perfectly as some weeks we work more than others, so my son only has to be in when we are working, and more importantly, we only pay the hours he is in for.

Just thank you so much for being the nursery we use! In my opinion, you really are the best in the area.

We get updates regularly on the app, which is lovely. The nursery manager is supportive and always there if you need a chat or advice. Through the Covid pandemic, they have been just amazing, never complained and have remained open!

A wonderful nursery that both our children go to. Friendly and personal, but they are also very professional. Good food and they have a lot of fun. I would recommend it to anyone who needs childcare without hesitation.

We cannot recommend Tops Winchester enough. We already loved the nursery, with our eldest son attending since he was 10-months (now 4), but over the last year, they have truly excelled themselves, providing the stability that our boys needed over the pandemic, showing them such attentive care, and always going out of their way to help in any way they can. There is a real “can do” attitude and the staff are, without exception, amazing. The manager and the deputy do a wonderful job of running things, and we can’t thank them and the rest of the team enough.

Tops Winchester is a fantastic nursery! My son joined mid-pandemic, which worried me as he hadn't had much contact with other people since he was born, but they have put me completely at ease, and he has been thriving since attending. We love being kept up to date through the online portal; it's so nice seeing what activities he is doing day-to-day. The staff are all fabulous; they always welcome my son in the morning with the happiest energy and are on hand to offer advice if needed. Nothing beats seeing my sons huge smile when he sees his key worker coming to the door! We are very impressed with the food menu, with being vegetarian, we were worried when looking for a nursery about the lack of options for him, but at Tops Winchester, there is an amazing range of different things on the menu. We would 100% recommend Tops Winchester to parents; these guys go above and beyond for the kids and their families.

There's a lot of things to say about Tops Winchester (all of them good!), but what has really made a difference this past year is the stability they've provided the children. They've been a constant, always smiling, always communicating with us grown-ups, and ensuring the kids were minimally impacted by what's going on in the world. They've managed to keep all Covid related procedures fun (temperature taking, visors, education on germs and the importance of handwashing). The practitioners have a real commitment to the kids, and we've been grateful for their presence throughout the pandemic.

Tops Day Nurseries: Winchester has been such a wonderful place for my daughters to attend. The team are always so welcoming and positive when they arrive and give updates throughout the day to let us know how they are getting on. The girls pop in to visit each other throughout the day which is a wonderful support for them both and they are always so excited to tell me what they have been up to at nursery and which friends have been in that day for them to play with. The staff are friendly, kind, supportive and helpful. I feel very confident sending my girls to Tops and know that they will be well cared for and supported. Thank you to the wonderful team there.

My son enjoys his time at preschool. He comes out happy, enthused and tells me he has had a good day. He loves the outdoors and gets to do this when he is there. He loves the opportunity of joining in with boogie mites and Forest school too as well as painting and lots of other activities. He knows the staff well and whom we find friendly and trust their knowledge. He has been there since the start of his nursery journey and he has become confident in himself and with meeting new people and is happy.

Tops Day Nursery Winchester has been such a wholesome experience for son and niece for the last 4 years, not to mention for myself too! A phenomenal team that has looked after us all throughout our time spent at Tops Winchester. They have all done a fantastic job in preparing the children for their next chapters, we can't thank them all enough for what a wonderful effort they have shown. The online learning portal helped me keep up to date with how my son was progressing and what he was getting up to in his day since his first day. I would 100% recommend this nursery to any parent as these guys go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed.

My son has been at Tops nursery for the past three years and has flourished under the loving and caring attention of the team that work there. It is a company that retains staff and promotes internally. The staff appear to genuinely love their work and take great care of the children. I hope to use them again in future.

Would highly recommend! My daughter's nursery closed so moved her to Tops Day Nursery, and I wish I done it sooner. She settled in amazingly and couldn’t wait to go back the next day. She was so happy and has improved so much since being here! The staff are fantastic with the children, which really shows when my little girl sees all the nursery teachers and gives them such a big smile!

Tops Day Nursery Winchester has been a fantastic environment from my son to grow over the past 3 years. The staff have cared for him with genuine love, care and attention. The team come up with all sorts of new, exciting and interesting ways for the children to learn and develop. I have been very impressed with their dedication to the children and providing a safe and clean environment during the pandemic.

What a wonderful nursery. From the manager down, they have been interested, helpful, caring and emotionally attuned to my sons needs. He has had a wonderful time there and already misses it. His key person has been by his side as he integrated and then developed, and he still sings her praises. He has enjoyed all the activities, meal times and play. As a parent, I have been kept up to speed of what he and the nursery are up to via Eyelog, newsletters and direct emails. I wholeheartedly recommend the nursery.

Our son’s nursery has to close during the Covid-19 pandemic and we are both keyworkers so had to find an alternative. We were so lucky to find Tops. The staff were all so helpful, friendly and efficient at sorting a place for our son. He settled in very quickly and has loved his time at Tops. Thank you so much for making a stressful time much easier.

Since my son started here at Tops Day Nurseries, he has been so much more behaved at home, he’s starting to get more of a personality to himself, he’s learning new things which is brilliant and enjoyable to watch also! During the COVID-19 pandemic my children's usual nursery closed. As a key worker I needed to find alternative childcare. I contacted Tops in Winchester and they welcomed my 2 children. The staff were all really friendly and my children surprisingly settled in really well despite being such a challenging time for everyone. The manager was very accommodating and was able to address any concerns I had. I would really recommend this nursery.
