Bright Horizons Fleet Day Nursery and Preschool

I've had three children attend this nursery (all now school-age as of this month). The current team of staff are great, especially in the preschool room - they know the kids well and the effort they put into making graduation special was incredible! The other occasion that really impressed us was when there was a fire that was bad enough to close the nursery for a couple of weeks. The alarm sounded as we arrived for pick-up, so we witnessed the staff evacuating all the children and they did the whole thing within about a minute - impressive and quite literally lifesaving. But not only that, by the following morning, they'd lined up temporary places for all the kids at another Bright Horizons, with their key people there too, to ensure no interruption in care. They simply couldn't have handled it better.

We recently moved to the UK and needed a preschool for twins on a short-term basis as they start primary school in September. We are so grateful that Bright Horizons Fleet Day Nursery and Preschool welcomed them with open arms. Our twins have settled in so nicely and are very happy. They were also included in the recent graduation which was so special considering they haven't been at the school for long. The day was beautiful and all staff put in a lot of hard work to make it special for all the children. Well done team!

My son now loves going to nursery and has developed so much since he started to go. The staff are wonderful and really care about the children under their care. They make sure to include activities which include his Spanish heritage and for that, we are very grateful.

We are so thankful to have found Bright Horizons Fleet! The staff are exceptional, we can see that they really care about the children they look after. The kids are lucky to have such a fun, educational calendar of activities to look forward to each week, and I really enjoy the daily updates and photos shared in the app.

My son started at the beginning of the year and being quite young we were a little nervous about him starting. However, we can’t fault the nursery and our son has settled in so well! We love seeing the pictures of what he gets up to throughout the day and all the staff are so lovely and accommodating.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Our little one is so happy here and settled in so quickly. The staff made both him and I feel very welcome. They provide great daily updates on the parent portal. Would recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been at the nursery since 2020 and my son recently started in the baby room. All of the room staff are very approachable, as is the manager who has done a great job getting to know the parents since she came on board and you can see they all take great care of the children in their care. The settling-in for my son took a little longer, but the nursery were very supportive and offered more sessions which in turn has meant he is super happy and settled in the room now he is full-time. Equally, my daughter has a fantastic relationship with her key worker in the preschool room (and loves all of the staff). She loves going to nursery and the activities are always varied. The daily updates on the app are great along with the varied menu for lunch and dinner. Overall, very happy with both the baby and preschool room and would recommend.

Really lovely staff who genuinely care about the children. They do so much with them. We get daily updates and photos which is reassuring. The children enjoy the food and the menu looks varied and healthy.

We have been very impressed with the nursery since our daughter started in summer last year in the baby room. The managers have an open door policy and are available for chats regularly. The facilities are great and the menu is varied and our daughter enjoys the food. The staff are all very lovely and fantastic with the children. I love seeing the updates with lots of pictures via the app most days - it helps give me peace of mind that our daughter is having a lovely time. I would highly recommend the nursery.

Bright Horizons Fleet is a lovely setting for my children. The team are attentive and caring towards the children and they provide so many opportunities for fun and educational play. My children settled well from day one and I’ve never looked back. Highly recommend!

The manager and her team have made us feel so comfortable with leaving our son at Bright Horizons Fleet. They have gone beyond to make sure he is able to access everything and genuinely wants what is best for him. We are so grateful we found them.

Our daughter has been in Hedgehogs for around a year, during which time she developed some special dietary needs. The whole nursery team have been absolutely fantastic in accommodating this, ensuring she takes her medicine and helping her adjust to a new plan. We can see that they really care about the children they look after and we have always felt that our daughter is in really good hands. She loves going to nursery and we have been so impressed at how many different activities they have on each week.

We love the staff from Bright Horizons. Comparing our daughter to some of her friends outside nursery, we can see that she is far more progressed in her development. We believe it's due to the attention and high standard of learning at Bright Horizons. The hedgehog class team are amazing, they always greet you with a friendly smile. It is amazing to see how happy our daughter is, to go to nursery. The daily and weekly updates are great, to see what she is doing. The quarterly updates on progress helps so much, as we then understand what our daughter is doing and how we can contribute to her development at home.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much for them and they have been great at catering for our son, who has an allergy. The staff in porcupines room have built great relationships with my son and he loves going to nursery and partaking in all the exciting activities. I would recommend Fleet Day Nursery.

We are very pleased with Bright Horizons in Fleet and in particular the baby room/Hedgehogs. Our daughter started in October last year when I returned to work and she has come on leaps and bounds. She is learning so much and developing so many social skills. We love all the fun activities the staff do with the children and we especially love the outside space. Our daughter loves the big garden! The nursery is clean and the staff are always happy to help even with last minute requests for extra hours etc. Our favourite thing about the nursery is the app where we can log in and see exactly what our daughter has been up to and even see photos. This really makes our day when we are away from her at work. We are confident that our daughter is happy at nursery and believe that the staff really do care for the children.
