Farnborough Day Nursery and Preschool offers children exciting, stimulating days of fun and discovery in the care of its established team. With high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 year with longer opening times from 7.30am – 6.30pm.

The nursery has plenty of space for children to learn and explore, with bright and airy age specific rooms and the large garden is equipped with a mud kitchen, wildlife area and a gardening patch.

All-inclusive fees mean that you have less to pack on a busy morning, with everything from healthy lunches and snacks to branded nappies and wipes included. All meals are cooked onsite every day by the nursery chef and are fresh, flavoursome and high in nutritional value.

A great nursery. The management team and staff have been very helpful, friendly and welcoming from the get-go. The activities are varied and superb; not to mention the high quality and plethora of food they serve during the week.


We can rest assured at work, whilst our child is in their very caring

and capable hands during the day at nursery. The nursery app is an amazing tool for parents to keep track of their children during the day.

My son started nursery here a few months ago so I could go back to work. He is one of the youngest there but I am so pleased with the level of attention he gets from all staff. We get updates on the app every day, and even photos, sometimes multiple times a week, that shows me the activities that he
does and how his development is getting on.


They focus on sensory experiences for my little one and also encourage movement and for him to develop at his own pace. I would recommend this nursery 1000 times over. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and this stretches from the office to the classrooms. So happy with my choice and I have told all of my family and friends about how amazing it is here.

The safety and care of a child is every parent's priority and Bright Horizons Farnborough Day Nursery and Preschool does exactly that. I drop my children off each day knowing that their needs are being catered for.
Come pick-up time, they've always had a smile on their faces and even secret handshakes
with the team. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I have two nieces that thoroughly enjoy their time at nursery. They have both grown and developed wonderfully into amazing, bright, and confident little girls with the help of the kind, caring and dedicated staff.
This is such a lovely nursery and they have so many friends that they enjoy telling
me about every time I see them.

Our daughter started nursery in September and has flourished since day one. We have both noticed her confidence in walking, talking and awareness develop over this time.
We have had two occasions where staff have picked up on an illness that has required medical attention i.e. throat infection which
saved Christmas for us in getting antibiotics early. A special mention must go to two staff members in particular, who allow me to ask questions as a first-time mum and are not only incredibly professional but also approachable in their work. The only consideration we would suggest for the future is a welcome introduction pack for parents. Whilst those two staff members have been brilliant in answering questions this could be a smoother process potentially for other parents in the future. Thank you for all the hard work you are doing and supporting our daughter.

We have been sending our 20 month old son to Farnborough Bright Horizons for two days a week, for almost one year. We have been very happy with our son's care throughout his time there. The team make great use of the fantastic app with regular updates and photos from the various activities that he is
taking part in. My wife and I enjoy checking the app to see what our son has had for lunch, nap times etc. The standard of care and attention has been consistently excellent. The staff know the children and their little personalities and our son smiles when he is handed over in the morning which says it all. We have also been very impressed with the variety of food that the children are served - far more adventurous than we would have imagined and our son certainly enjoys eating it. We would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to other parents.

This nursery is lovely, the staff are very dedicated, they focus on development bespoke to every child’s needs. During the day at nursery, my child is fed nice nutritious food and snacks and if there’s anything my child doesn’t like or won’t eat, they try something else to make sure she has a full tummy.
She loves coming to nursery and has a great rapport with her key worker and staff, which makes it so much easier to leave her there for the day.

Our daughter enjoys going to the nursery and the staff seems nice. The nursery experience is generally ok though a few aspects could be improved. For example our daughter often comes home with a messy nappy or a little dirty. It’d be good to have a few more details of what has happened during the day
and updating the app with info is a bit inconsistent.

Occasionally there are mornings when my child can become very clingy on drop-off. These mornings can be tough for a parent who needs to be at work and upsetting for the child. The staff are great at relaxing my child into the room, they are always on hand for cuddles and chats, making the drop-off transition
an easy and pleasant one for both parent and child.

We have used Bright Horizons since 2019 for my eldest son. We joined during Covid times which was a tough transition, but the nursery were amazing. They made sure settling in was as smooth as possible, keeping us up to date as much as possible. They do a variety of activities with the kids and always
finding new things for them to do. The updates we get at the end of the day are thorough and you can see they clearly plan their days so it’s as educational as possible. We have since had my second son join and he loves it. My only negatives have been around the last 6 months and the management change. There has been a lot of uncertainty around staffing and there have been lots of temporary assistants in the room that we aren’t familiar with. However, I have noticed a massive improvement in the last month, staff has become more consistent and the management team seem keen to drive lots of improvement. Loving the refurbishment. Very happy with the nursery and would recommend.

I joined the nursery last summer after a traumatic family experience and what can I say but thank you. The journey so far has been incredible; without the support of the nursery staff of not just my two children but myself, I would be in a completely different place. The nursery staff really make the
place, their caring nature is second to none. The facilities have also just recently been updated which has made the place an even nicer environment for learning and playing.
Previous to Bright Horizons, I was at another well-known nursery and I can say that this place is a complete step change in care. Thank you.

Moved to this nursery recently and my son took a little longer than most to settle, but the staff were so supportive and welcoming, could not thank them enough and the constant updates and photos of him playing and smiling, put any worries I have had in the past, out of my mind, and the food he eats!
Such a wide range of new flavours, but like most boys, he loves his lunch and dessert. Again, can't be thankful enough of the support from the staff.

I have always had a passion for child development and securing the foundations for children to succeed to the best of their abilities. Following completion of my childcare qualifications, I then went on to complete my level 5 leadership and management.


In 2009 I started my career as an apprentice and progressed along the way resulting in me being able to support and guide staff in the direction of success and fulfilling their goals in their careers.


I’ve worked for a nursery group in Brighton and Hove for 13 years which was then brought by Bright Horizons in December 2021.


I lived in Brighton my whole life before moving to Farnborough in 2021.


I am a proud mummy of 2 little girls and I absolutely love it.

Hi! I'm Holly, the deputy manager at Farnborough Bright Horizons.


I started my career as a bank staff at our Church Crookham branch back in 2014 and absolutely loved it. I moved away from the area to Devon for a couple of years before I came back and re-entered my career at Farnborough. I love making a difference in the lives of our families and strive to make everyone feel welcome and at home within my setting.


I have my little boy Harvey, who also attends the nursery and he loves it! Especially the soft play area and indoor slide. We look forward to welcoming you to the nursery.
