A HOME-FROM-HOME NURSERY IN LOUGHTON

The beautiful Loughton day nursery provides outstanding quality care to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Nestled on the scenic edge of Loughton, the nursery supports your child in exploring all of the extracurricular activities they love, including ‘Stretch-n-Grow’ movement sessions, ‘Tiny Mites’ musical classes, Rugby and ‘Rugby Tots’ sports sessions.
As the nursery is in such a naturally inspiring area, they want your child to develop their love of the outdoors. To achieve this, your child has free-flow access to their own age-specific garden, where they can learn, play and explore in the ideal environment for them.
To give your child the energy they need to grow, they can try all of the fun extracurricular activities and explore the garden, they also provide them with delicious and healthy meals, all freshly prepared by an experienced on-site chef.

Returning to work after maternity leave is never easy, leaving your 10 month old in the care of a stranger is even harder. Teddies made the transition so easy, the Manager was a god send for me, along with all of her staff, even when my little one was tearful when I left him, or poorly she would check
in on him and drop me a line to let me know he was ok.


My not so little on is now in his second year here, The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, the classrooms are clean and stimulating with attached garden areas to have outdoor activities. The facilities are great, they even have pets onsite for the kids to learn about animals.


The patients of these ladies are amazing, my little one is a really fussy eater and they always manage to get him up table to have a nutritional meal made fresh on the premises. Amazingly he’s even been back for seconds on numerous occasions, which will speak volumes for all the parents out there who have fussy eaters themselves.


I really can’t commend Teddies Loughton enough.

We are very happy with the exceptional care our son receives from the staff in the baby room at Teddies. All the staff are positive, caring and warm. The management team in the office and our son's key carer are fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Teddies as a safe and happy environment.

This Nursery is fantastic!


The facilities, staff and learning materials are great. My daughter attends this nursery full-time and loves it. She is advanced for her age and have to give the credit to the nursery and the workers for the attention and effort they show her. The girls in every room

are friendly & approachable. It is very apparent that they are all very passionate about their jobs and the children.


The management staff are also brilliant. They're always willing extremely helpful, friendly and professional.


The food options for the children are also really good. they have a large outside play space which is perfect for the children, with lots of different things to do and play with.


I would highly recommend this nursery!

Both my boys love Teddies and the staff are all so welcoming and informing.


The nursery is attentive, accepting to parent comments and loves all children like their own!


I am a very happy mummy and boys come home happy too.

Chloe

Job Title: Nursery Manager

The first five years of life have the greatest impact on future experiences, and Chloe feels honoured to support children and families through this important time. She is extremely passionate about children’s development and the progress they make during their time at the nursery.


Chloe holds a degree in Early Childhood Studies and has worked for Bright Horizons since 2014. Having completed her qualification with the company, she has progressed through various roles into management and also gained experience as a Field Manager, supporting multiple nurseries across the region. This experience has enabled her to guide her team in creating safe, nurturing environments where every child can thrive.


She is also deeply committed to ensuring the nursery is an inclusive environment for children with additional needs. Chloe and her team take great pride in working closely with parents and external professionals to make sure every child receives the support they need.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Nicole has over 15 years’ experience in childcare, beginning as a Teaching Assistant for children aged 4–11 before becoming an HLTA, teaching across the school. After completing her BA (Hons) in Education Studies, she moved into early years, progressing from Nursery Nurse to Floor Manager of a Baby Room. Over the years, she has gained a deep understanding of nursery life and is trained in Makaton and BSL, which she enjoys sharing with others.


She is now Third in Charge at Bright Horizons Sawbridgeworth, where she has embraced the Bright Beginnings Curriculum and is training as both a Communication Champion and her region’s SEN Champion, while completing her Level 3 in SEND.


Outside of work, she is very family-oriented, a proud auntie, dog owner, and big Disney fan.
