The beautiful Loughton day nursery provides outstanding quality care to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Nestled on the scenic edge of Loughton, the nursery supports your child in exploring all of the extracurricular activities they love, including ‘Stretch-n-Grow’ movement sessions, ‘Tiny Mites’ musical classes, Rugby and ‘Rugby Tots’ sports sessions.
As the nursery is in such a naturally inspiring area, they want your child to develop their love of the outdoors. To achieve this, your child has free-flow access to their own age-specific garden, where they can learn, play and explore in the ideal environment for them.

My little boy has settled really quickly and all the babycare staff have been so amazing with him.
I'm always greeted with enthusiasm and know that my little boy is in safe hands. It's made the transition back to work really easy. The staff also give me advice when I'm at a loss for instance with teething.
Would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son has attended Teddies since he was 8 months old. He absolutely loves the nursery, he is now 3 years old. The nursery environment provides a fun, safe and excellent space for learning and developing. My son is constantly learning. The staff have been extremely supportive and approachable. They
are hard working but always take the time to listen if I have any questions. Overall this is a fantastic nursery and I would highly recommend it to any other parents.

My children have attended this nursery for 7 years. Bright Horizons Teddies Loughton Day Nursery and Preschool have helped them grow confidently and kindly. Currently, my daughter is in preschool. The staff are outstanding, they have helped my daughter learn academically including writing her name.
They are so proactive and they managed a complex issue through supervised play and resolved it compassionately and professionally. The staff clearly care for each child. They have been so supportive of me as a mother, especially if transport has been late and I have been unavailable and delayed. I would not bring my children anywhere else. This is a well managed and happy nursery.

Our son has been with the nursery since he is 6 months old. He settled in straight away and enjoyed every day over the last 18 months. He is developing very well and enjoys the variety of activities on offer. His dirty clothes are proof of how much fun he has every day. He eats and sleeps well and even
starts making friends now bonding with some of the children in particular. The girls are lovely, looking after the boisterous boy really well, comfort him when he is poorly, tell us when he has been naughty and best of all make us feel that he is kept safe and happy all day long.

I am extremely happy with my child's progress since moving into pre-school. He seems to have learnt lots of new skills, made lots of friends and generally developed in all areas. I am particularly happy with the two permanent members of staff who seem to put a lot of effort in and seem to know him well.
They give very good, detailed feedback on nursery life which I find very reassuring and alert us to any issues.
An excellent nursery overall with a family atmosphere.

Since my daughter has been settling in pre-school she has been os happy and caring every minute of it. Her key workers are amazing, couldn't ask for anyone better to look after my daughter. The activities and planning is always sogod and the girls are always so happy and welcoming. 5 star rating, excellent

Teddies Loughton is a fantastic nursery.
The staff are very friendly and my son thoroughly enjoys his time here. There are so many activities each day which makes it really fun for him. The lunches are great too. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The nursery is a safe and engaging environment. The staff know the children well and offer a positive and loving place for them to learn. Staff have been fantastic in pre-school and always have time to discuss any queries or concerns I may have. My children are both very different characters and in

I only put my son in from May this year and I think the nursery is great. My son has settled in really well and is really happy. That is down to the lovely and caring staff. They made sure he had lots of settling in classes before he officially started which I thought was great and made both myself
and son feel at ease. The staff are great and really caring and friendly. I would defiantly recommend this nursery to my friends and family.

My son joined the nursery last year after a bad experience at a previous one. All the staff made such an effort to get him a space quickly and were great at helping him to settle. He is now in pre-school and the teachers are fantastic, he loves going there and has lots of fun. He has grown in confidence
and learnt so much which I know is mainly down to the staff and the nursery as a whole.

Generally a well run nursery, however, the recent changes within management have impacted I feel the day to day running of the nursery. Having said this new manager has recently been employed and things to be changing which is great!
Most staff go above and beyond their duty which is reassuring when
my child is in their care for 10 hours a day.
The nursery offers a wide range of activities including stretch'n'grow and football.

My daughter attends this nursery and is currently in babycare room.
The staff there are so friendly and caring - my daughter will literally run up to the gate upon arrival and put her arms out to her carers.
As a full-time mum it can be often difficult to know what goes on at nursery, however, my
daughter shows me so many things at home, which I know I haven't taught her!! Such as blowing kisses, using a spoon and pointing to her eyes, nose, mouth etc.
Knowing how happy my daughter is there and how understanding and catering the staff are there to a self-confessed fussy mum!! I really couldn't recommend this place highly enough!!!

Bright Horizons is a lovely nursery, I really am happy we were able to get a space. My daughter skips in so happy and her Learning has excelled since joining. The manager and her team are truely assets to Bright Horizons. The children all appear so happy and settled this is a reflection on the amazing
staff and activities provided. We are very happy and have been from our first visit!

We only started Teddies in September, it was very hard to leave my little one but so glad we did. He has now fully settled and he loves going to nursery, he does so many fun activities and talks of his day when he's collected. The smile on his face shows I made the right choice .
The staff at the nursery
are all so energetic, motivated and they clearly have a passion for the work they do :) the manager and deputy have a great working relationship and are very approachable and give sound advice for new mummy's experiencing nursery life. I'd highly recommend a viewing at Teddies, you feel the buzz as soon as you walk through the door x

Teddies Nursery is a wonderful nursery that cares deeply about all of the children in their care. My daughter loves her Teachers and over the last 3 years we have seen her grow in self-confidence, build upon her social skills and gain a passion for learning. The nursery is really a home from home,
if my daughter needs a cuddle, she gets one, some reassurance, she gets it and most of all, she gets the love and nurturing from the staff. The Manager has worked in partnership with me over the last 3 years, listening to my needs as well as my daughters. The level of early years provision is outstanding, which to me is really the icing on the cake. Teddies is a warm and inviting setting that I would be recommend highly.

My daughter loves going to Teddies. She started when she was 8 months old and she is now 14 months. I cannot recommend them enough. The staff are lovely, warm and welcoming. My daughter gets so excited just walking up to the gates and she always puts her arms out to go to the girls that work in the
baby room. I have no concerns about leaving her at the nursery and I know she will have a fun, interactive and happy day at the nursery. The induction period was excellent and they slowly eased her into the nursery with me there as well so we could both get use to her going to nursery and to the baby room and getting to know the other members of staff. If I have ever had any queries or questions I know that they will get answered and dealt with promptly. Teddies is a fantastic nursery.

Chloe

Job Title: Nursery Manager

The first five years of life have the greatest impact on future experiences, and Chloe feels honoured to support children and families through this important time. She is extremely passionate about children’s development and the progress they make during their time at the nursery.


Chloe holds a degree in Early Childhood Studies and has worked for Bright Horizons since 2014. Having completed her qualification with the company, she has progressed through various roles into management and also gained experience as a Field Manager, supporting multiple nurseries across the region. This experience has enabled her to guide her team in creating safe, nurturing environments where every child can thrive.


She is also deeply committed to ensuring the nursery is an inclusive environment for children with additional needs. Chloe and her team take great pride in working closely with parents and external professionals to make sure every child receives the support they need.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Nicole has over 15 years’ experience in childcare, beginning as a Teaching Assistant for children aged 4–11 before becoming an HLTA, teaching across the school. After completing her BA (Hons) in Education Studies, she moved into early years, progressing from Nursery Nurse to Floor Manager of a Baby Room. Over the years, she has gained a deep understanding of nursery life and is trained in Makaton and BSL, which she enjoys sharing with others.


She is now Third in Charge at Bright Horizons Sawbridgeworth, where she has embraced the Bright Beginnings Curriculum and is training as both a Communication Champion and her region’s SEN Champion, while completing her Level 3 in SEND.


Outside of work, she is very family-oriented, a proud auntie, dog owner, and big Disney fan.
