Bright Horizons Phoenix Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The nursery is situated in a tranquil location surrounded by lots of trees, open space and wildlife. It provides a large, spacious area for the children to learn and grow in a safe and stimulating environment. This not only provides abundant space, but the garden is also split into three separate age-appropriate areas. There are also engaging computer classes available in the dedicated ICT suite.

The nursery offers Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes as a part of their Healthy Hearts and Minds activities. They also follow unique 'Growing Enhancements' and 'Ready for School' programmes to prepare your child for their next big steps.

Healthy meals and snacks are prepared on-site by the talented chef.

We have been very pleased with the Phoenix nursery since our daughter started at the baby cottage when she was 10 months old. The level of care is second to none and our daughter settled in quickly and has enjoyed every day. We couldn't have asked for more caring, hardworking and kind carers for our
daughter. As a working Mum, it makes me feel relieved and assured that our daughter is being looked after in the best possible place.

Bright Horizons is an excellent nursery. I feel very comfortable leaving my son each morning as I know he is being extremely well looked after. He is also learning and developing thanks to all the guidance he receives.

Everyone is friendly, willing, kind, helpful and always has time for me and my daughter. I had a very difficult time and the nursery key workers and management were very accommodating. Keep up the good work.

We are really happy with the way my daughter has settled into Phoenix Nursery, with the support of the manager. We have noticed that my daughter is stimulated in her new environment and she is happy to come to nursery in the mornings. Also, the level of communication is most impressive - so thank you

We have moved our son as concerns about high staff turnover, care and communication became too much to ignore. The facilities are good but the staff do not seem to know the children and our son was often hungry and dehydrated when he came home. We tried to resolve the issues but felt the level of concern
too high to keep him there.

I absolutely love the nursery. My child needed no settling to join the toddler pod. She smiles when I leave her and smiled when I return. I would recommend Phoenix to everyone choosing a nursery.

We have always been very happy with the provisions here. Perhaps the biggest compliment I can pay is that we have noticed no difference since Bright Horizons took over to the already outstanding care that my daughter receives. This is a fantastic nursery.

I have worked for Bright Horizons since 2011 and have worked in the childcare industry for over 23 years. I am a mummy of 2 children and I hold a NNEB qualification.


Working with children brings joy to my life, and I love nothing more than seeing children reach their full potential in a fun, stimulating yet safe environment. Keeping Everyone Safe is of paramount importance to me as a nursery manager and I feel it is my duty care to for the parents that are choosing our setting for their loved ones.
