My daughter is always happy and confident going into nursery and complains on weekends and Mondays that she isn’t going! This is what is most important to me that she loves being at nursey, it’s also great knowing the food supplied is varied and healthy, she gets lots of time in the outside areas playing,
learning and exploring! She really enjoys forest school and splashing in puddles etc! Staff are very friendly and welcoming and I feel able to discuss any worries or ask about her day.
The office staff always has a big friendly smile on her face when she meets us at the office and if I have needed to call in or email for any reason she gets back to me quickly.
It has been a bit different since Covid not picking up from in the room but I feel the right measures have been put in place to reduce risks to the children whilst not impacting on us too much. I am very grateful for all their hard work at a difficult time. Communication via email has also increased which I find helpful.

We love Kiddi Caru, Writtle. Our son (almost 3) loves going and has grown and developed under their care and guidance. We are fully engaged in it all by staff and we work together to celebrate his progress and constructively challenge him, where necessary.

My son has attended Kiddi Caru since November 2019 and he loves it there. I couldn't choose a better place for him. He's really come out of his shell, made friends, started speaking more and become more confident day by day. The outdoor space is huge and they have a forest school just next to their
garden. Parking is also very big. Management is one of the best I've seen and the staff are very passionate about their job and caring.

My two daughters ages 4 and 2 attend 2 days a week and have done since they were 9 months old.
They have both gone from strength to strength, not just with educational skills but their social skills also.
The services that are provided are second to none, my eldest even asks on days away from nursery
if she can go.
The forest school and teaching sessions in preschool are exceptional, my eldest raves about them all the time and the pure love, comfort and fun that my youngest receives in the rabbits room has seen her confidence come on by miles.

Our son had his first nursery experience at Kiddi Caru. He managed to settle down quite fast (less than a month) considering he couldn't speak a word of English when he joined (English was not his native language). All the staff (from teaching to administration) contributed significantly to this, through
their professional approach and at the same time they have always supported us as parents by various means in any kind of administration difficulties that we encountered. Since then, our son loves to go to the nursery daily and meet with his friends and the staff. We feel very safe with the environment and the people working at Kiddi Caru and we know that our son is having a playful educational experience, with plenty of toys and various fun activities. Communication with the nursery staff has always been excellent and really we have only good things to say. It's a pity that next year he has to leave the nursery and we hope the reception school to be close to those high standards.

I have been extremely impressed with Kiddi Caru, Writtle. They have supported my son in an inclusive and holistic manner since he started. Their level of communication during this difficult period has been excellent. A special mention to the superb Rabbits team (2-3yr). I have seen a visible difference
in my son's social skills, talking, reading, drawing and playing. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to all.

Thrilled with the staff from the first day (approximately 18m ago) - they have always been approachable and responded timely and effectively to any concerns we have raised, which have been few.


Since our daughter started in the preschool room, she has been stimulated so much and her development

has been quite amazing to see. One thing that would be a positive change would be to have observations and learning goals communicated, via an online system perhaps. Verbal feedback at the end of the day is always brilliant, and thorough, but actual observations would be great additionally.


We love the setting and really couldn’t be more confident that our daughter is great hands.

I moved my two-year-old son from his old nursery to Kiddi Caru after lockdown. I was extremely apprehensive about taking him to a new place. I had nothing to worry about. The staff made him and I feel so welcome and cared for, especially at an uncertain time. The staff, from management to key workers,
are incredible. Even after a short time, they have all created a great bond with my son. The outdoor space and the experiences he has from this also make the place very special.

All of the staff at Kiddi Caru have been fantastic. My daughter has loved every day there and we have felt so at ease leaving her there, she has graduated a sociable, happy girl with a love of life and learning. Especially grateful for the photos and folder the staff have kept for us so we can read
all about her days/experience, this has been priceless. Could not recommend a better nursery.

Impressed by the whole set up. Staff are very professional and actually do care, unlike another nursery our child attended. I'm 100 percent happy dropping her off. Communication with parents is excellent. Our daughter is always happy to attend.

My daughter has loved attending Writtle, Chelmsford Kiddi Caru over the last 3-years. We have found the nursery to have excellent standards. The food cooked on-site is delicious. Outdoor playing is encouraged and forest school a favourite. All the staff we have encountered have been exemplary. Would

My 4-year-old has been going to Kiddi Caru since he was 6 months and now my youngest has joined. The outside space is vast which was a big selling point for us. The food prepared is a very good standard with lots of fruit and veg. If you have any issues then the office staff are very friendly and helpful.
The place has a nice relaxed open atmosphere. The corridors and children's rooms are always very clean and you can tell the staff love working with children. My son has been very happy at Kiddi Caru Writtle and I look forward to my youngest having a similar experience.

My 9-month-old has recently joined the nursery and the team have been so supportive during her settling in. The staff in her room are kind and caring and always give us a thorough feedback at the end of the day. The food is lovely and they have a chef who cooks it all on-site. The management team are
friendly and approachable. I feel confident in leaving my daughter and I know she is so cared for throughout the day!

I currently have two children here and have been extremely pleased with the care and attention they give to my girls. The staff are fantastic and nothing is ever too much - I feel like I often have a lot of questions but they are also all just a friendly face for a chat at drop off and pickups! My youngest
has just started and to ensure she is settled they have given her numerous settle sessions (free!), which has really helped her development and confidence especially as she has never been left before. My eldest is in pre school and we have seen a huge improvement in her confidence both socially but also with recognising numbers, letters and creativity. The forest school is a wonderful extra which is what appealed to us - there is no pressure for them attend, however. Boogie mites session is a big hit with our daughter!
Agree the front door could be more secure and more pictures/structured updates on their development would be a nice touch: like the apps you can see this on?

My 20-month-old daughter has been attending Kiddi Caru for about 8 months now and she absolutely loves it. My son who is now almost 5 attended the nursery age 2-4. The staff are so professional and caring, I'm always so impressed by them and they have genuine affection for all the children in their
care. Special mention to Butterflies room leader who is fantastic at her job and my children adore. The management team of the nursery are so on the ball, they are always flexible and accommodating where they can be. This nursery is an outstanding setting, it's so clean, runs like a well-oiled machine and is a home from home for my daughter.

Age-specific areas have been fine up until my son entered preschool. I feel it’s extremely poor in this area. The staff are great but there needs to be far more structure to the day. I feel compared to other preschools little if any preparation is happening to help children be ready for school in
September. I know many who have withdrawn their children because they have been unhappy with the lack of focus on teaching and education. If it wasn’t for the fact that our son was settled we would have done the same.

Katie has worked in the early years sector for nearly twenty years and began working for Kiddi Caru in 2013. During this time she has climbed our internal career ladder and has gained her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children and Young Persons Services. Katie has extensive experience within all the age ranges, which has enabled her to provide the team with the best support and knowledge in providing high standards in childcare and education. What Katie enjoys most is welcoming families and building strong parent partnerships.
