Cedar Park is situated within 2.5 acres of rural, picturesque grounds. Providing daily access to all age groups, the fantastic outdoor space helps to support emotional and physical development.

They have a Childbase specialised woodland play area which brings the classroom outside into the natural world with sessions led by a qualified forest school leader.

A vegetable patch allows children to grow, harvest and taste their own produce which is served by a dedicated nursery chef.

The nursery teaches children to care about the world they live in and are proud to have gained an Eco-Schools green flag award

Cedar Park offer the extracurricular activity of Usports every other Wednesday for their Bumblebee and Butterflies room, and on a Friday for the Preschool room.

They offer a convenient service to parents, opening 7.30-6.30 Monday to Friday and a fully-inclusive package.

The Management and the team are amazing at what they do! The preschool environment is a fantastic space and the children love being there. I couldn’t ask for more really.

Fantastic people and great facilities. Our son loves his time at nursery. The team are extremely kind, welcoming and lovely. He adores his key worker! We are always extremely impressed by the range of activities he does!

Just had a lovely weekend visit to Butterflies room. They have made lots of changes recently and it’s really helped the children play better and enjoy the environment. They had a big acorn tree on the wall and the kids were learning all about growing things and planted their own acorns.

We were always happy with our child’s nursery until we moved location and he joined Cedar Park. This nursery really is exceptional. The effort that goes into making each day what it is, is nothing short of fabulous. The activities are planned with detail and attention, the setting is always inviting
and the care is second to none. We’ve never had a sad beginning or end to the day and we see this as a reflection of all of your hard work. Thank you.

We attended the open day on the 25th of October because my husband hadn’t had the opportunity to see inside the nursery. It was great, as a family, to have the chance to visit the nursery and for our daughter to see us in her environment - she was very excited. The team did a great job showing us around
and explaining what it is like day to day for our daughter. The manager is always friendly and welcoming every time we see her, so well done to her for managing the nursery so well. We loved the package containing a recipe and ingredients for cottage pie, this was such a lovely touch; in fact, we made it for our dinner over the weekend and it was delicious. We would like to thank all the staff who contributed, but a special thanks for those who worked on a Saturday to allow this to happen. Much appreciated.

My son attends pre-school and it has been fantastic for him. He has come along so much and he loves the forest school element with it. The forest school and outdoor space was a big factor for choosing Cedar Park, however, there is so much more. The staff are fantastic and have developed my son so much.
He is happy to go in, always comes out happy and smiling and shattered. The facilities are great and they are always adding new things for the children to do. He is currently very excited about being able to use the vegetable patch they have put in.

My son has been attending nursery for a year now, and he absolutely adores it. He is always happy at drop-off and is really taken to the team that looks after him. We're always amazed at the variety of activities he takes part in every week and can see how much it is contributing to his development.
The food is excellent too - he actually eats his vegetables (or at least most of the time). We're extremely grateful for the incredible care he receives every day and I feel so much better at work knowing that he is happy and well looked after. Very highly recommended.

Our daughter spent 4 years at Cedar Park, and she loved every minute of it, spending time in every room from ladybirds (before she could walk) to leaving preschool to start school. We couldn’t be happier with our choice in sending our daughter to Cedar Park. They have been fantastic in supporting her since she started in January 2020 and have managed the return to nursery after COVID-19 brilliantly. I have so many great things to say about Cedar Park and the staff. My daughter has just excelled in every way and loves each and every day at the nursery. The staff are just wonderful, thoughtful and caring. During lockdown and upon opening the communication has been excellent - I have never had to
chase an enquiry.
Upon opening after lockdown the reassurance and care given to the children who were attending was amazing.
The facilities at Cedar Park are just great for the children and I could not fault them. Furthermore, the food that they are made is nutritious and filling.
Having experienced other nurseries - Cedar Park are leaps and bounds above the rest.

Huge recommendations of Cedar Park and I would really recommend and have done already to friends. Our daughter joined after attending a different nursery from a baby and at age two moved to Cedar Park. From day one, surprisingly settled straight in, we saw her grow with confidence from the off and
really wanting to go each and every day. The staff, the care and the attention is top-notch. Her big smiles are priceless.
This level of care and professionalism has continued over the COVID period - we have been impressed by the communication and the professionalism despite such a challenging time for all - and had absolutely no doubt or concern about returning back as soon as we could - and again this proved the right decision when our daughter was again pleased as punch and happily going in on day one to see her friends (the staff and those her age).
Can't fault it - thanks Cedar Park.

I just wanted to say thank you to the manager and the team. Their dedication and care has made our return to nursery so easy and every interaction has been a real comfort to us during the Covid-19 lockdown. The procedures which have been put in place are great - simple and effective and most importantly
not scary for the children. Drop off and pick up have been seamless and we have one very happy boy at the end of his first week back.
The use of the app is working really well and it’s great to see what they’ve been up to and what they’ve eaten.

I would highly recommend Cedar Park. Our son had only been there a few weeks before lockdown began but had already settled in well thanks to the lovely staff. During lockdown the nursery kept us informed at every step and sent videos and activities to do at home. He's now been back a week, and I am
so impressed with the extra measures they have taken to keep everyone safe. It's been very carefully thought through and the procedures are very clear. We feel confident that he's safe at nursery and lucky that he has so much outside space to play in and such good care. Thank you Cedar Park.

I highly recommend Cedar Park. It is professionally run with excellent facilities. Most importantly the practitioners are fantastic - they really care about the children and their development. They are always doing different activities and the children spend a lot of time in the large gardens, with
forest school being a particular highlight. We have a pre-schooler at Cedar Park, who has been there since 2017. He is really excited about returning after the lockdown to see his friends and teachers. The nursery has been exemplary in dealing with the coronavirus situation pre-lockdown, staying in touch during the lockdown and preparing for children's return next week. Our 18-month-old started in October last year. He settled really well, building close bonds with the practitioners in the baby room and transitioned really well when he moved upstairs to the new facilities. We are very fortunate to have Cedar Park in Twyford.

My daughter has been attending Cedar park nursery from 12-months and is now in pre-school. At every stage, we have been very impressed. Staff all around are very friendly, professional and welcoming. The nursery has a great facility, the rooms are well equipped, and I especially love the outdoor space
and that the children spend a lot of time playing and exploring outdoors whilst getting fresh air. My daughter has learnt a huge amount especially, now at pre-school, and I feel she is well prepared to start reception in September. Even now during the lockdown, the nursery team is sending out emails with supporting information, activities and messages for the children, which is so welcomed. Overall, Cedar Park has been great, and I would highly recommend it.

Our son has been at Cedar Park Twyford for nearly a year now. He was 13 months old when he started and settled really well in a matter of days/weeks.
Key Success Indicator:
The boy was happy before, at and after the nursery. Numerous times he was in such a joy that we would let him stay for a few
more minutes before taking him home.
Pros:
Extremely friendly and talented staff.
Good and recently renovated facilities.
Plenty of activities for kids that develop a wide range of skills.
Local Kitchen, good menu.
Diverse and caring people.
A true British countryside environment, cannot wish for more
Great location for those who take the train at Twyford
Cons:
Car Parking used to be a mission impossible in rush hours temporarily. At the moment it is resurfaced and plenty of spaces are available.

Cedar Park has been a home away from home for my son and we have been extremely happy with it over the past 8 months. Our daughter has additional needs and the team at Cedar Park have worked so hard with us to help meet her needs, by adapting ways to do things and using additional aids to help her enjoy activities with the other children and to further her development both physically and cognitively. Since starting
at Cedar Park, we have seen such a difference in our daughter's social skills and she is always so very happy when we go to collect her. We would have no qualms about recommending Cedar Park as a nursery - they have been excellent - we can't recommend them enough.

Our family have been nothing but impressed by Cedar Park but in particular, the room leader in Butterflies. With her experience, enthusiasm and professionalism she leads a fantastic team of staff. Each member of Butterflies brings a different quality to the group and it works very well. The home/nursery
communications have been very good, especially as my son struggled with settling and room changes. We will miss the high standards of the Butterflies team when our son moves up but have heard good things about Pre-School.

Rachael is the Manager of Cedar Park Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for 18 years. Rachael has numerous qualifications, including a BA (Hons) in Children's Learning and Development and a Level 3 Forest School Leader.


What is your favourite feature of your nursery?
The amazing outdoor space, including our Forest School where the children can take part in exciting activities such as campfire building and den making.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am proud of how my team go above and beyond to create a welcoming and inviting environment for both the children and their families.
