Cedar Park Day Nursery (Twyford)

My daughter started here in July this year and has just taken to it all in her stride. She loves the garden and is totally worn out from all of the exercise she gets. The staff are wonderful and the management are always quick to help if needed. We couldn't be happier.

My daughter has loved her time at Cedar Park Day Nursery - the adults are all wonderful and she very much feels welcomed here as do I. She has really blossomed in pre-school and she will miss Cedar Park very much when she moves to reception in September but she’s happy that her baby brother will be starting so she can come back to say hello!

Fantastic Nursery and Pre-school facilities and staff. Excellent education programmes and communication to parents - would have no doubt in recommending to anyone in the area. My son has made friends and learned lots in his 2 years there - thanks to everyone there!

My daughter is very happy at Cedar Park Day Nursery. She usually runs into nursery with an excited skip and a smiling face which is incredibly comforting as a parent working full time. The staff are always coming up with inventive and interesting things to keep the little ones entertained and help them explore the world. The garden space is brilliant and the children are taken outdoors as much as possible. The food is great and the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. My daughter is continually developing and learning new skills and I credit much of her progress to the care, attention and stimulation she receives at nursery.

My daughter has been attending Cedar Park Day Nursery for 3 years now since she was 18 months and we couldn't be happier with the care provided by the team across all ages and rooms. The facilities are great and they have an outstanding outdoor space where the kids spend a great amount of time when the weather allows it. Food is good, with reasonable variety. The staff goes above and beyond to help the children thrive and are great to adapt to the personality and child specific needs. They did a great job during the epidemic's hardest time and we are very grateful for the support received during this period. My daughter is now moving to primary school and we know we will miss Cedar Park dearly.

Our son has attended Cedar Park Day Nursery for the last year (he's now 26 months old) and he absolutely loves it there. The staff are so caring and focused on the children, he is very happy every day that we drop him off and is always smiling when I pick him up. The room is bright and airy and they spend a lot of time outdoors which we love (and he loves). There is such a great garden area, he loves his time outdoors. He has some dietary needs and we have been really impressed with how Cedar Park manages this, making sure he still has a very varied and nutritious diet and doesn't miss out on anything compared to the other kids. We love all the carers in his room, and the reception/office team are great too, always greeting my son personally when we arrive. I'd have no hesitation recommending Cedar Park Day Nursery!

Children are well looked after with a good choice of food and activities. Quality of care does vary with key workers but in general all excellent. Good level of communication. Children have a great time at the nursery.

Generally, a very happy environment to be part of and our child has thrived since joining.

We have always been really impressed by Cedar Park Day Nursery. The staff are great, very caring, they are very personable and they go the extra mile, such as real chicks hatching at Easter. There is a great variety to the food options and lots of space to run around outside in a quiet setting.

Our son attends once a week and absolutely loves it. We worried he wouldn’t settle well only coming once a week but staff have been so great with him and he’s come on so much with his talking and being around other children. It’s so nice to be able to drop him off and know he’s happy and not worry about him. Staff are all so friendly and the site, with the gardens and open space, is perfect!

Our son is thriving at Cedar Park Day Nursery. His confidence around groups of children and people generally suffered as a result of the lockdown restrictions and to see the growth in his confidence at seeking out new friendships and playing with the other children in his class at Cedar Park has been wonderful. He especially loves the time they spend outdoors and the outdoor space they have at Cedar Park is a great resource. The staff in each class he has been part of are so caring and so responsive to his needs, he has formed wonderful bonds with the staff in each class he has been in so far and we are so glad we picked Cedar Park.

My daughter has been making brilliant progress at Cedar Park Day Nursery, thanks to the dedication and excellence of the staff. She loves to go in every morning and I know she is being well looked after and given healthy and nutritious meals. There is a good range of activities and a fabulous outdoor area which is used daily.

My daughter is very happy and settled here. I am able to go to work knowing that she will both nap well and eat well. She has a great time whilst she’s there, getting involved in the different activities the nursery staff set out each day.

The sports activities that are put on in pre-school are fabulous and really good for my daughter's physical development.

Our son just loves going to nursery in the morning. We joined during lockdown and the support has been fantastic. The staff are all amazing and take such great care of the children. The outdoor space is really special and we are so happy that our son settled so well at this great nursery.

We are delighted with the care our son receives at Cedar Park. We really like that children are taken outdoors all year round and Cedar Park has a lovely setting for this. The way the rooms are carefully organised, the individual focus on each child's development areas, the regular updates we receive, the food cooked in-house are all up to high standards but it's all down to the incredible staff. They do make Cedar Park exceptional. Our son has joined the Caterpillar room where he really enjoys his days at nursery and we've always received great treatment from all of the staff (with no exception). Our key person is always happy to give us updates on our son's development and will address any concerns we might have, sometimes even before we voice them, which for us as new parents is great. I would highly recommend Cedar Park.

We're really pleased with how well our daughter has settled at Cedar Park. She has lots of fun there and enjoys the varied activities and lovely surroundings. We like the relationship she has built with her key worker, who has definitely made her time at Cedar Park. We like that there is a focus on being outdoors in all seasons. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds and it has been an excellent opportunity for her to socialise with others during the Covid-19 pandemic.
