Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school, Maidenhead

On arrival at the nursery, you always get a warm welcome from the staff they provide a caring fun-filled supporting, stimulating, and educational environment for my granddaughter. Love the layout of the nursery all 4 rooms are bright and airy they have round windows in each room so you can view each room. Plenty of inside resources to engage my granddaughter. Their outside space provides an enormous amount of fun for the children to enjoy. My granddaughter loved her time at the nursery and always looked forward to going. I recommend this nursery 100%

My daughter is always happy at nursery, it’s a lovely homely environment with caring staff. They have a lovely outdoor environment each room having access to the garden. The nursery also provides lots of opportunities for the parents to come in and take part in events

The food always smells gorgeous and she always has the best time.

The team have welcomed my one year old daughter with warmth and enthusiasm. They take great care - the Little Explorer room is a stimulating environment with lots to do - the app keeps us up to date and communication with the team at drop off and pickup is clear and thoughtful.

It's always nice to see my son enjoying himself when I go to pick him up. The feedback on the day is always positive so it's nice to know he's in good hands. The communication is brilliant (phone, in person or on the app) and there is always someone ready to cuddle him if he has hurt himself (or when he is being dropped off in the morning). The staff outdo themselves especially when activities are organised for the children., especially when they include the parents as well (eg biscuit decorating for Christmas). All in all a good well rounded caring nursery that my son enjoys!

Caring staff, small classes, clean and excellent indoor facilities. Great events during festive periods and a great family atmosphere. Our daughter really enjoys five days a week and is supported with fun and development. An excellent application kept us updated throughout the day. Thanks to the excellent staff!

Having recently changed to this nursery we have been so happy. The range of activities the children can participate in is incredible. Our daughter flourished within a couple of days. The staff are kind and helpful and the communication about what is happening is excellent. Huge thank you for everything. We are looking forward to the next year.

This nursery is absolutely stunning! The layout of the nursery is great and has very spacious rooms full of great activities so children can learn. My son has been participating in lots of events recently, as the nursery has been doing lots of events every month. It's nice how they involve parents with this also. My son loves coming into nursery.

Really lovely preschool, with great facilities and activities. My daughter is very happy there and is learning a lot ahead of starting school in September. I would personally prefer that they were more strict with discipline from day one, rather than making activities like registration optional, especially as this stage is preparing them for school where it won't be optional. My only other issue is with the food, as most meals are very mixed up and there is not a choice, everyone is given the same. In my experience when you have a big eater who likes plainer food they generally come home hungry! If it wasn't for this we would definitely have increased her sessions as the start of primary school gets closer, as we'd originally planned. Otherwise, it is certainly a very happy and secure environment, the feedback you receive on your child's development is excellent and any queries you raise are dealt with promptly.

Brilliant nursery and preschool. My son has the best time there, totally cared for and looked after. Enjoys going and playing with his friends every day and learns so much too. I'm sure his vocabulary wouldn't be as good if it wasn't for nursery.

My son started the nursery during coronavirus. It was hard handing him over to the carers at the door but after a week and a bit, he was happy to go to nursery. He is always running out with a smile on his face when we pick him up and has lots of exciting things to tell us about his day. They do lots of different activities with kids and you always feel like you can chat to the carers about his day when picking up. The app used by the nursery to upload daily activities (sleep, nappy changes, food eaten) and monthly observations is fantastic!

My daughter has been going to the nursery since October 2020 and has been enjoying it ever since. Every morning she goes to the nursery with a smile on her face. She has established strong bonds with the staff who are very attentive and caring towards the children. As a working parent, I feel reassured knowing that my daughter is well looked after. I am extremely happy with the nursery and would recommend Little Pioneers to every parent looking for a high-quality nursery with a child-led approach.

I am happy with how well my child is progressing in regards to his potty training and I'm happy with the feedback I get at the end of the day. Thank you to all the staff that care for my son, especially his key person.

Regular daily updates on the app. A recap of the day from the key worker when you collect your child. Breakfast and dinner provided which help ensures your child is fed. A large range of indoor and outdoor activities for your child and they change as your child gets older.

Couldn’t ask for a better nursery provider with the great care and detail they put into looking after these children.

Overall good care and excellent facilities, with good garden space that the kids love. Indoor space is also well maintained, tidy and generally clean when parents were allowed in the nursery, and the room ambience looks stimulating.

I have no trouble recommending the nursery to new parents.

The staff are wonderful, the activities are fab, we just couldn’t ask for anymore in a nursery and for our daughters first venture into finding friends and learning. She had a fabulous time there, was so well cared for and information between the carers and us was fantastic. She had some medical needs whilst there, and they were always attended to with precision. Amazing all around!

I have two children that attend this nursery my youngest has been there since he was 3-months-old and will be 2 very soon thanks to the girls and all their hard work his development has come on leaps and bounds, especially his speech. My eldest will be going to school this year and again thanks to the pre-school staff and their amazing work she is so ready for a massive step. All the staff know my children and treat them like their own. And my kids absolutely adore them all.
