At Little Pioneers Maidenhead Nursery there are four rooms within the nursery split into the following age groups: two rooms for the 0- 2 year olds, one room for the 2 to 3 year olds and one room for the 3 to 5 year olds.

They are silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making small changes that deliver big environmental differences. They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to make their own decisions to making a difference in the world.

They are big on happy children and that's why the have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world. They are also big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained.

Their app, ParentZone, keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress.

The nursery has two large, secure, private garden areas. There is a play house and a variety of outdoor equipment including bats, balls, bikes and a climbing frame with a slide and a tunnel. The children also have an allotment area where they learn how to take care of plants, herbs, vegetables and flowers and enjoy watching them grow.

My child is so happy attending this nursery. The staff are fantastic and really attentive to all the children. The chef is amazing and caters for my child's dairy-free diet, nothing is too much trouble. As my child is happy, so am I, knowing that she is well cared for in a friendly environment.

My child has attended the nursery from fourteen months of age until now (he is in pre-school) and I couldn't ask for a better staff team. My child was diagnosed with an illness at the beginning of the year and we couldn't be more grateful for the support we received from the nursery at a really difficult
time.

I very highly recommend this nursery. My daughter loved going to this nursery, she was well looked after by a professional and very friendly staff. The nursery had plenty of children around her age and it was easy for my daughter to establish many friendships. My daughter has been going to this nursery
full time 5 days per week from age 2 right up to her last day before starting school.


The nursery has also organised activities outside of the regular hours which my daughter was always keen to go to. Finally, the nursery management is professional, friendly and approachable, ready to help with any enquiries and problems parents may have.

I would highly recommend The Co-operative Childcare Maidenhead Nursery. My family and I felt welcome from the moment we stepped through the door.


All staff are amazing, friendly, happy and trained to the highest standard.


I know I made the right choice, our boys love nursery they have great fun,

eat tasty delicious food, and their development have improved greatly.


You get the feeling of home from home.

On his first day, my vegetarian son was fed meat. I had filled in forms and informed staff he was vegetarian before he started. Staff are not engaging with kids in the preschool room, they are left to themselves. Staff complained about toilet accidents, saying 'I had to clean up his pooey pants, it
was disgusting' in front of the kids. Sending home pooey pants full of poo, no attempt to empty or rinse them. Sometimes threw away pants, even though I had asked on several occasions not to do this. Calling me (several times) to pick him up because he was 'a bit sleepy' - no sickness or temperature and fine when he got home. It seemed that there was little or no learning happening.
I must emphasise that this is my experience of the pre-school room. When my son was in the younger room, it was a much better environment and the staff seemed much happier and more interactive with the kids.
Administrative - bills were incorrect every month and I had to query several times to get it right.

Both of my children have attended this nursery since 11 months of age. They have always enjoyed their time there and as parents, we have felt that our children are safe and well cared for. This nursery is purpose built, with rooms all on one level and with two gardens! This gives it an advantage over
other nurseries that are often in converted houses. Children can play outside all day long, rather than having timed slots as other nurseries do. The furniture and toys are all quite new and clean. In the past, I might have criticised them for using too many 'bank staff' and not enough permanent staff, but this is no longer an issue. They listened to feedback and acted on it. I'm very happy to recommend to others.

Our daughter has absolutely loved her experience at The Co-op, and this is testament to the efforts of the employees and the environment they have created for the children. I cannot recommend the nursery enough, it has been one of the best choices we have made with regard to our daughter's development

Love this nursery, both my son and daughter have been here. Staff are friendly and super caring. The rooms are bright and there is always lots to do, the main thing though is my children have always wanted to go and are extremely happy.
