Seabrook Day Nursery is a purpose-built day nursery developed on behalf of the Luton and Dunstable Hospital to care for children of the Trust employees and the local community. They have achieved a distinction with their Green Flag Eco-Schools award.

The nursery has five main playrooms with additional sleeping areas, offering a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual. The downstairs rooms have access directly to outside areas where children are able to explore and extend the learning offered indoors.

The team of highly qualified and experienced staff are passionate to inspire and develop each child's skills.

Seabrook Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of Tiny Mites every Tuesday between 9:30am and 11:30am.

My son started Seabrooks in January 2019. Now every day he comes home and says to me 'mum I had a good day', I am extremely happy with the service provided by Seabrook, it has become his 'home from home'. The staff are friendly, approachable and professional. The food menu is extremely well planned
and I am happy to know my son is well fed, well looked after. Sleeping comfortable and happy.

My daughter loves Seabrook so much.
Her key worker in Bumblebees was amazing to her and supported us as parents. My daughter was potty trained in 2 weeks.
Her progress has come on so well in the last year and I cannot thank Seabrook staff enough.

We couldn't have wished for a better experience than what we have received at Seabrook.
Everyone from the management team to the key workers have always gone above and beyond what we expected and really care for the children. That may sound obvious but I've experienced other childcare where it seems
the people just did this for a job but I just didn't feel like this at Seabrook. The communication is also incredible at Seabrook, for example, I could mention something to a key worker and a few days later, I'd be asked for an update by someone in a different role.

I just wanted to say a very sad goodbye. I can't thank you all enough for what you have done with both my children. They have had the most amazing time here over the past 5 years. You have helped shape both children into two loving, caring and enthusiastic kids and for that, I can't thank you enough.
Not only with the children, you have also supported me through difficult life events always ensuring any changes wouldn't unsettle the kids too much. I will miss you all a lot and so will the children. Thank you.

My son has been going to Seabrook Nursery for a month now and I only have great things to say about it. He has settled in with no problems with all the friendly and caring staff.
The parent and staff communication is great.
Being able to see what he is doing each day and sharing home activities helps
with his development. Highly recommended.

We're genuinely over the moon with our son's whole time at Seabrook. We've bonded with all of the staff, our son has too and he has made loads of friends.
Sadly it has now come to an end but we would undoubtedly return back if we had any more children.

My daughter has really enjoyed her time at Seabrook. The staff are really caring and she has developed some good relationships with some staff members. She enjoys all of the activities, particularly one on Fridays and all outdoor and messy play.

Seabrook Nursery is an amazing team of lovely, caring, kind and professional people. I have had 2 of my children here. It is so nice to know that your kids are being looked after so well and you don't have to worry about them. One of my children, in particular, wants to come back every day, even on
holiday. You guys made our life so much easier and let us work in full concentration. We love you and will miss you.

Our daughter has flourished since attending Seabrook.


The staff are attentive to the individual child’s needs while keeping parents fully up to date at all times. The nursery is a fun, relaxed and structured environment for any young person.

I have used several day nurseries over the years with my three children. This one is head and shoulders above any other. The staff are kind and loving, especially my daughter's key worker who is a complete natural with her. The room is always set out with imaginative, exciting and creative activities
that even I feel drawn towards. The staff and setting here are unique in their care and attention. I wish we could stay forever.

Very good, my Child was carefully cared for. Initially my child did not eat which would leave me worried for days, however, the nursery tried their best on ways to introduce food and eventually he has no problem eating there. Happy that the Staff cared for him and tried their best. My child is always
happy during his nursery stay. Enjoys activities and always kept busy and given full attention.

We attended Seabrooks' canvas evening and I can only say it was truly fantastic! As a parent, we were able to talk to the friendly staff with a glass of mulled wine whilst enjoying the fantastic artwork completed by the children. This great evening raised money for charity and as parents, we really

Becky Smith

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 1997

Becky is the Manager of Seabrook Day Nursery in Luton and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for 23 years. Becky has a Level 2 & 3 in Childcare and Education, Level 2 & 3 in Customer Care and also Level 3 and 4 in Management. Becky had previously worked with Childbase Partnership for 20 years and has recently returned as Manager.


What is your favourite feature of Seabrook?
Each room has access to the nursery garden, the rooms are large and bright.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am proud of the passion and engagement of the staff team.
