Seabrook Day Nursery is a purpose-built day nursery developed on behalf of the Luton and Dunstable Hospital to care for children of the Trust employees and the local community. They have achieved a distinction with their Green Flag Eco-Schools award.

The nursery has five main playrooms with additional sleeping areas, offering a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual. The downstairs rooms have access directly to outside areas where children are able to explore and extend the learning offered indoors.

The team of highly qualified and experienced staff are passionate to inspire and develop each child's skills.

Seabrook Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of Tiny Mites every Tuesday between 9:30am and 11:30am.

I have used this nursery with both of my children and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I feel my children are safe in their hands and very well looked after. The staff are amazing!

Coming to drop my son at Seabrook is always a pleasure, knowing that he is in safe hands of all the staff there is very reassuring.
The things he's learnt there, I don't believe he would have received the same elsewhere. All the staff are so dedicated, caring and most importantly fun!
I know the days
of bringing him here will stay as a very happy memory for a really long time. I'd especially like to mention specific members of staff without whom I know things wouldn't have gone so smoothly and enjoyably.

Great nursery. Our son has been here over two years and the progression we have seen is fantastic. His speech and social skills have improved massively. The staff at the nursery are so friendly and supportive and really help in areas of development as needed.
I would hands down recommend this nursery
to anyone. They are really flexible with extra dates also.

My son loves going to nursery. They are constantly adapting the way they teach children and the things they do with them. Since my child has started at the nursery, his speech has come on so much.

Very, very happy with the experience we have had so far as parents and our son absolutely loves being here!
He really enjoys seeing and interacting with all the staff, and really misses being here when he has a day off!

Seabrook is a fantastic nursery and has been consistent since my son started here 2.5 years ago. My daughter now also attends and has seen the same level of care and development. The activities are varied and stimulating, capturing their imagination and promoting learning. The staff demonstrate professionalism
and a caring attitude to put parents at ease that their children will be safe. Both mine have developed great relationships with their key workers and staff in their respective rooms. A well managed, great staffed, safe and caring nursery who get the most from children in their care.

My son has been at nursery for a couple of months, he had a couple of weeks of tears at drop off but he settled in so quickly. He is excited to come to nursery and it's so wonderful to see him playing when we come to pick him up. He has an amazing key worker and I cannot fault anything.

Very happy with how well my daughter has settled in. Always seems to know everyone round the nursery, all her room carers are very nice, make her feel happy to leave her in their care, even if she has an emotional drop off.

Becky Smith

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 1997

Becky is the Manager of Seabrook Day Nursery in Luton and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for 23 years. Becky has a Level 2 & 3 in Childcare and Education, Level 2 & 3 in Customer Care and also Level 3 and 4 in Management. Becky had previously worked with Childbase Partnership for 20 years and has recently returned as Manager.


What is your favourite feature of Seabrook?
Each room has access to the nursery garden, the rooms are large and bright.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am proud of the passion and engagement of the staff team.
