Seabrook Day Nursery is a purpose-built day nursery developed on behalf of the Luton and Dunstable Hospital to care for children of the Trust employees and the local community. They have achieved a distinction with their Green Flag Eco-Schools award.

The nursery has five main playrooms with additional sleeping areas, offering a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual. The downstairs rooms have access directly to outside areas where children are able to explore and extend the learning offered indoors.

The team of highly qualified and experienced staff are passionate to inspire and develop each child's skills.

Seabrook Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of Tiny Mites every Tuesday between 9:30am and 11:30am.

My son has adapted tremendously well at Seabrook. The staff are amazing and really encourage him to develop to the best of his abilities. My son has been attending since he was 10 months old and is sadly leaving this August to start Reception at Primary school. Throughout his early years, this nursery have been amazing. They have kept us updated with all his progress, they helped when we started potty training and they continue to give
him the highest level of care. He has learnt so much in Preschool 2, he knows shapes which I probably didn’t know at his age, and he is thoroughly prepared for school. We will be very sad to say goodbye to all the wonderful staff and there will be tears from us parents.

The team are lovely with my daughter, and always helpful. Nothing is ever a problem, my daughter is always happy coming into nursery and when I pick her up. She actually gets upset when I say no nursery!

Seabrook and all the staff are great! My child has been attending for a year and built a brilliant relationship with all staff. He loves coming to nursery and has come on loads in terms of his speech and development. Send your child here; they will be well looked after!

I have always had a great experience as a parent with Seabrook, and both my children have been very happy being part of the nursery. Staff are very caring and skilled, safeguarding procedures are in place, and the nursery focuses a lot on early learning.

My son has been coming to the nursery for three months, and I've seen an improvement in his social skills. He adapted really well, and I felt comfortable leaving him with the staff. There are so many activities for him to do, and the meals are varied and nutritious.

My daughter has been at this nursery for over a year now. Her development is thriving and is always happy to come to the nursery. She has made lots of friends and has started using names. In addition, the staff are incredible with her, always welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this nursery

My son has been at Seabrook for a couple of years now, and in every room, he has progressed way beyond my expectations. My son will be starting school in September and will be more than school ready. This is down to the fantastic teams and the environment that the children are surrounded by. The key
workers are always supportive and ensure the children are developing in their own areas. The nursery, I cannot fault and recommend to all. Very happy parent, and most importantly, happy child!

Becky Smith

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 1997

Becky is the Manager of Seabrook Day Nursery in Luton and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for 23 years. Becky has a Level 2 & 3 in Childcare and Education, Level 2 & 3 in Customer Care and also Level 3 and 4 in Management. Becky had previously worked with Childbase Partnership for 20 years and has recently returned as Manager.


What is your favourite feature of Seabrook?
Each room has access to the nursery garden, the rooms are large and bright.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am proud of the passion and engagement of the staff team.
