Lavenders Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
My eldest daughter recently left the nursery and started in Reception class. Lavenders prepared her so well for the transition to school in terms of self-confidence, a developing passion to learn, and all round strong
social skills.
Her teacher in Reception even commented how well all of the children who moved up from Lavenders have done in their first few months at school.


The facilities are of an extremely high standard and the staff are incredibly passionate about what they do.
I would strongly encourage those who are considering Lavenders for their children to go and visit.

Having moved my son from an outstanding nursery in London where he was very happy I was delighted and relieved to find Lavenders.
Having looked around several other nurseries I was beginning to think I was being too fussy, however, the first time I visited Lavenders I found everything I was looking
for and realised I didn't have to compromise.
Lavenders offer my son fun, stimulating activities both indoor and out, encouragement, boundaries and independence in a caring environment that ensures his happiness, in which he is flourishing, as he was in his previous nursery.

My two children attend Lavenders (aged 2 and 4) and have done for the last year. The nursery has excellent facilities (especially the new garden!), kind staff and flexible and supportive management. I would highly recommend.

My children have been attending Lavenders Day Nursery over the past five years and have absolutely loved it. The staff are very nurturing and warm providing a range of stimulating activities throughout the day. I feel very reassured that while I'm at work they are in excellent hands.

From the very first time I visited Lavenders when looking at nurseries for my baby, I was impressed with the knowledgeable and friendly staff and loved how all the children there seemed happy and confident. I knew within 10 minutes that it was right for my son (and me) and was looking forward to him
starting in January 2017.


My son didn't settle in as easily as I thought he would but Lavenders were great at reassuring me it was normal and suggesting ideas to help him. As he only goes for one day a week, the staff suggested we split it into two half days so that he wouldn't have a big gap between visits.


He has just finished his second full day and is much more settled. I believe that this is down to the expertise of the staff and the flexibility that they have offered to ensure that my son has the best experience.
I love picking him up now and hearing about all the activities he has been doing - communication from the nursery is excellent.
I wholeheartedly recommend Lavenders.

I would definitely recommend Lavenders. My daughter is so settled there and likes all the staff. She's been going since she was 1 year old.


She loves going in and gets so much out of the activities they do.
Everyone who works there seems to know who she is and are genuinely interested in the children.


I would definitely recommend Lavenders as a warm, friendly and caring environment for children to be cared for in.

My son has been really happy with his key workers throughout his time in Lavenders. He is still sometimes tearful on handover but they are gentle and kind in calming him down and he usually doesn't want to leave when it comes to home time!
He loves the outdoor space and while he can be picky about
food, they always cater for his dietary requirements and give him a good variety of foods.

Lavenders offers an amazing pre-school and my daughter thoroughly enjoys every aspect of attending. My daughter is making great progress in preparation for school. The staff are lovely and go over and above to reassure you as a parent and work with your child. I'm a happy mum with a happy pre-schooler!

I cannot praise this nursery enough for all they have done for our daughter. She has been attending Lavenders since she was 9 months old and is now 3. It is hard leaving your child and returning to work but the staff here have been wonderful with her and helped her development no end as well as reassuring
us as parents; knowing she goes in with a smile on her face each morning makes it a little easier to leave her. Staff get to know each and every child and what makes them tick and have a clear understanding of what they need to do to help each one of them make progress; communication is very good. We love the fact the children get outdoor play every day and the range of activities they do to stimulate and inspire the children is excellent. Our daughter sometimes doesn't want to leave! We have recommended the nursery to friends and will certainly be looking for a place for our new arrival.

Our daughter loves coming to the nursery. The variety of activities is fantastic. The children have the opportunity to try many different activities; from singing, dancing, cooking to counting, writing and doing some small science experiments.

I recommend Lavenders Nursery. It is a very nice warm atmosphere here. The staff are very professional. Children have a lot of activities. It is a wonderful playground. My daughter really enjoys her time in the nursery. Staff provide a lot of information about the children's progress. It is a great

An excellent nursery, with caring, helpful staff. The facilities are wonderful, with great outdoor space which they seem to use almost every day (barring torrential rain), fresh food, and great segmented spaces within each classroom. My children have been there from the baby room all the way to pre-school
(with very good preparation for full-time schooling), and every stage has seen experienced, supportive staff in both the children's rooms and in the management team. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

My two boys have been at Lavenders since March 2016. I am extremely happy with every aspect of the care they have shown my boys. Every day the boys look forward to going and they come home happy. The employees have been wonderful and I think this is partly down to the manager who is fab and knows each
child and their parents by name.


Each day the boys do a range of activities and I have noticed how quickly they are grasping new concepts on a weekly basis. The food is good and they have been happy to adapt meals at our request. The nursery is clean and well organised and all the employees seem to enjoy working there!


I have recommended the nursery to several friends both of which have since put their children there and are very happy with it. The new garden is also fabulous, what a treat for the children in town to be able to have space to explore and have fun!

I highly recommend Lavenders Nursery. My son attends Lavenders 3 mornings per week and he really loves it! It is a safe, fun and enjoyable place for children to develop and learn. The staff are very friendly and the nursery now has an extended garden which my son loves!

In my opinion, 'Lavenders Day Nursery' (Bedford) is very difficult to compete with. Before I saw this nursery, I must have seen about 10 different ones but as soon as I walked through the front door and met the manager, I knew this was the one. Brilliant staff, brilliant care, brilliant service!!!
