Lavenders Day Nursery (Bedford)

I recommend Lavenders Nursery. It is a very nice warm atmosphere here. The staff are very professional. Children have a lot of activities. It is a wonderful playground. My daughter really enjoys her time in the nursery. Staff provide a lot of information about the children's progress. It is a great nursery.

An excellent nursery, with caring, helpful staff. The facilities are wonderful, with great outdoor space which they seem to use almost every day (barring torrential rain), fresh food, and great segmented spaces within each classroom. My children have been there from the baby room all the way to pre-school (with very good preparation for full-time schooling), and every stage has seen experienced, supportive staff in both the children's rooms and in the management team. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

My two boys have been at Lavenders since March 2016. I am extremely happy with every aspect of the care they have shown my boys. Every day the boys look forward to going and they come home happy. The employees have been wonderful and I think this is partly down to the manager who is fab and knows each child and their parents by name.

Each day the boys do a range of activities and I have noticed how quickly they are grasping new concepts on a weekly basis. The food is good and they have been happy to adapt meals at our request. The nursery is clean and well organised and all the employees seem to enjoy working there!

I have recommended the nursery to several friends both of which have since put their children there and are very happy with it. The new garden is also fabulous, what a treat for the children in town to be able to have space to explore and have fun!

Lavenders really made going back to work a much easier experience

I highly recommend Lavenders Nursery. My son attends Lavenders 3 mornings per week and he really loves it! It is a safe, fun and enjoyable place for children to develop and learn. The staff are very friendly and the nursery now has an extended garden which my son loves!

In my opinion, 'Lavenders Day Nursery' (Bedford) is very difficult to compete with. Before I saw this nursery, I must have seen about 10 different ones but as soon as I walked through the front door and met the manager, I knew this was the one. Brilliant staff, brilliant care, brilliant service!!!

Both my son and daughter have attended Lavenders Day Nursery from a very young age and they have been extremely happy there. The nursery has a real community feel as well as being a safe and homely environment for the children. The staff are fantastic and there is absolutely no doubt how much they love their jobs and the children in their care. I have been particularly impressed by the range of activities they undertake each and every day. Both of our children have flourished under the care of the staff at Lavenders and I would have no hesitation in recommending the nursery to others.

I wouldn't trust anyone else with my daughter, in particular her key worker go above and beyond in bonding with and helping the development of my daughter.

Our son has attended this nursery since he was 14 months old and will be leaving in August 2016 to start school. We just wanted to send this to say a huge thank you to the whole team at Lavenders, Bedford. We have always found it an excellent, nurturing, progressive and caring nursery. Our son has struggled as he is sensitive and we have found individual workers/manager will always listen to our concerns. They go our of their way to try and accommodate his needs and reassure us. We feel it is a real team effort from the domestic staff right up to management who always have a smile, professional approach and know our sons name.

Totally satisfied with the care that our daughter receives. Staff have alwasy been nothing but caring and supportive. Can't comment on food/drinks as we never see what she eats of drinks (although she is always very thirsty when she gets home). Based on daily reports, however, food variety looks excellent.

Lavenders Nursery is a lovely place and my two year old son loves it there. He is so settled and loves his assigned key person. I am a working parent and knowing that my son is in such good hands, puts my mind at rest. Also the different activities and environment has taught my son so much, which is absolutely invaluable to me and my husband. We can't praise this nursery enough.

We are very happy with Lavenders and our daughter loves it there, making lots of friends and learning new things everyday. The staff are very friendly and caring. We have been shown the progression of our child and what will be the near future plan in terms of her learning and development. The use of pictures taken during activities is also helpful for parents as it shows what your child has been up to and you feel involved. We are pleased with the experience so far.

We've had a very positive experience at Lavenders Day Nursery and it all comes down to the staff. They take a genuine interest in the kids and are so warm and caring. They've contributed to my children's ongoing development but they've also picked up issues early. My son has glue ear and if it wasn't for a member of staff picking up the fact that his not listening may have had a reason behind it. It may have gone unnoticed.

The service and updates provided by nursery is excellent. My son's development is great and I see the development.

Both of our children have thoroughly enjoyed their time at Lavenders Day Nursery. The staff are fabulous and we always feel our children are well cared for and happy to learn here.

Lavenders Day Nursery is a lovely place. Both my children have been happy here and love coming to the nursery.

My daughter started at Lavenders just before she turned a year and is now three. In the 2.5+ years she has been at Lavenders I have been delighted by the care received and I have nothing but praise for everyone there. I found it very daunting leaving my little baby but immediately felt at ease as I could see how much they cared for her. As my daughter has moved up through the rooms, I have felt that she has been loved and cared for by all the staff. The communication between staff members is excellent and my little girl is so, so happy there. The whole team are very nurturing and listen to both the needs of the child and the parent. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and will be very sad when the time comes for my little girl to leave.

Every member of staff I have met has always been helpful, approachable and friendly. I cannot recommend this nursery enough, my daughter loves it and I'm always at ease when I drop her off each morning.

Made so easy, my first child so I thought it would be difficult leaving him in other peoples care. Everyone is so lovely.
