Lavenders Day Nursery (Bedford)

In recent months with the COVID-19 lockdown, the nursery has really gone above and beyond in offering lots of support to children at home and keeping up frequent communication with parents about changes and updates. Our daughter's room staff kept in touch by sending messages and responding to photos we sent in which helped keep us in touch. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

The manager and all the team in Bumblebees room have been amazing at helping the children settle back into the nursery after such a long absence and in such uncertain times. The literature the nursery sent out, the welcome booklets personalised for each child and the approachable nature of her to send questions and queries, meant that I felt reassured that there was so much in place to support the well being, development and safety of my child. In addition to this, the staff in her bubble have been fantastic. They have reassured and comforted whilst still providing exemplary learning opportunities. My daughter loves nursery even more than before, and that is an absolute credit to the staff. From our experience, I would recommend Lavenders without hesitation.

My son really enjoys his time here at the nursery. I am a key worker and they have kept an excellent service going in very difficult circumstances. I am confident my son is safe, well cared for and developing at the nursery. All of the staff are very friendly and well trained. The management team are also excellent and the nursery is well run. They communicate development milestones and show progress against the learning framework using an app which I personally find very helpful.

Fantastic nursery for my son, I genuinely am not worried when at work, I get regular updates via the app and know he is in safe hands. Most definitely recommend.

I would highly recommend Lavenders Day Nursery to all friends and family. It is so very clear that staff enjoy their job and the impact this has on the children is immeasurable. Our son looks forward to Nursery and has built some fantastic relationships with peers and staff. The quality of food has allowed us as parents to feel confident that he is receiving a well-balanced diet, full of goodness and flavour. Regardless of the distance from our family home, there is nowhere else we would choose for our childcare.

We are very happy with the progress our son is making. He really enjoys his time at nursery and all the staff are incredibly supportive and welcoming.

Our daughter has certainly become more and more confident during her time with Lavenders Day Nursery. I've found the staff very attentive and have provided very good feedback on our daughter's progress. As a parent, I've found the app very useful in being able to get an insight into what activities our daughter gets up to during her day at nursery. I'm certainly very impressed how well she has embraced phonics and also her numeracy is coming on superbly. In summary, this nursery has been incredible.

We think Lavenders Day Nursery is wonderful. The opportunities provided for our little boy are fantastic and are giving him the best start to his education. We recommend Lavenders Day Nursery to anyone looking for childcare.

Lavenders Day Nursery has always shown excellent care towards our children. They always ensure they are happy and settled and will introduce bespoke/tailored incentives to make them happy when they have found something difficult/been unsettled. We will miss coming here when our youngest starts school.

Both my girls are attending Lavenders Day Nursery at the moment and I have always been pleased with the support and care they have been given. My eldest daughter will be starting school in September and I'm very happy that she has been given every opportunity that will enable her to have the best start for her schooling journey. My youngest daughter is always happy when I pick her up and I know she will have the same support and care given to her. Thank you to all the lovely staff, management and office staff.

The care at Lavenders is of a very high standard. My daughter gets so much from her experience there, they are great at using her interests to move her development forward and she is blossoming. The food is very healthy and she always eats it so it must be delicious. I always collect a very happy tired but content little girl.

We have been extremely pleased by the care and attention shown towards our daughter at Lavenders. Staff are courteous, considerate and kind and our daughter is very happy to go to nursery every day. The food is healthy and well prepared and the large garden is a real bonus.
