Excellent nursery and preschool - my daughter has been attending since she was 18 months and now turning 4. Every member of staff make you feel reassured and are genuinely happy to work at Lavenders. They are all great with the children and parents too! They are always to hand to answer any questions
and are super-efficient.
We’re sad to be leaving!

Our daughter has loved being in Lavenders. There isn't a day where she isn't excited to go!
The level of care and attention given to children is 1st class!
Developmentally focused and really prepare children for school. Could not recommend

Our daughter has certainly become more and more confident during her time with Lavenders Day Nursery. I've found the staff very attentive and have provided very good feedback on our daughter's progress. As a parent, I've found the app very useful in being able to get an insight into what activities
our daughter gets up to during her day at nursery. I'm certainly very impressed how well she has embraced phonics and also her numeracy is coming on superbly. In summary, this nursery has been incredible.

Lavenders Day Nursery has always shown excellent care towards our children. They always ensure they are happy and settled and will introduce bespoke/tailored incentives to make them happy when they have found something difficult/been unsettled. We will miss coming here when our youngest starts school.

Both my girls are attending Lavenders Day Nursery at the moment and I have always been pleased with the support and care they have been given. My eldest daughter will be starting school in September and I'm very happy that she has been given every opportunity that will enable her to have the best start
for her schooling journey. My youngest daughter is always happy when I pick her up and I know she will have the same support and care given to her. Thank you to all the lovely staff, management and office staff.

The care at Lavenders is of a very high standard. My daughter gets so much from her experience there, they are great at using her interests to move her development forward and she is blossoming. The food is very healthy and she always eats it so it must be delicious. I always collect a very happy tired
but content little girl.

My daughter is three now and attending this nursery from 10 months old. The under two care was excellent. After she moved to the next building, I didn't feel that she is receiving the same care as she had before but receiving satisfactory care. We had to consult with the management to sort out a
few minor issues and it was dealt with professionally. But my point is it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Some staff are really good and some of them don't even get up from their chair to welcome the child when you drop off in the morning. Tablecloth on the breakfast table is the one I hate, can be more decorative, perhaps a bit cleaner. So, my views are mixed. This is the highly paid day-care in Bedford, so I expected more. No alternative food is given when the child doesn't like the one the menu. This is not a complaint. My suggestion may help you to improve the way you operate.

Our little boy has been going to this nursery since he was 10 months, he's been in that nursery now a year and six months. The staff are great and the care is great.
As parents, it's our responsibility to ensure our child is safe and taken good care of. After viewing three local nurseries we came
across Lavenders and instantly felt comfortable.
The nursery is clean, their food menus are brilliant and the activities the children do are amazing. My son loves this nursery and has developed so much. It's the best decision we have made. We drop our son and we know he's in good hands.
The manager knows our child's name along with the other children. This shows she generally cares and meets all the needs of our children.
I recommended this nursery to my friends and they love it as much as we do!
So thank you to all the staff in Lavenders for making it the perfect nursery for us. We definitely recommend this nursery to parents!

We have been extremely pleased by the care and attention shown towards our daughter at Lavenders. Staff are courteous, considerate and kind and our daughter is very happy to go to nursery every day. The food is healthy and well prepared and the large garden is a real bonus.

My daughter loves attending Lavenders Day Nursery. It’s so exceptionally good, the staff are phenomenal and all so very kind and friendly. Her carer obviously looks after her very well and I can’t thank her enough.


I love the ParentZone app to keep me updated with my daughter's progress and it helps

me with the development of my daughter.


My daughter loves all the activities, creative play and the outdoor play area. She makes really interesting things which I love her bringing home at the end of her day.


Lavenders has encouraged her food palate, the standard and variety of food provided is exceptional.


I can’t recommend them highly enough, they are great people who we will miss very, very much.

My son has been in Lavenders since he was one and he is now nearly three. He seems to have a great time at nursery and is learning lots. He has made close relationships with staff and peers and talks about them all the time at home. The nursery was excellent when I requested that he shouldn't wear shoes
inside and it never seemed like a problem that I wanted 'special treatment' for him. In fact, I get the impression that they know each child and their needs very well. They were also so supportive when we started potty training and made my son feel confident and secure and handle it in no time. The staff also communicates really well with parents.

My son has attended Lavenders on a full-time basis since he was 9 months old (now 2 and a half). Picking a nursery felt like a monumental decision, the thought of trusting people to care for our child was a hugely scary one. We looked at several nurseries and knew from our first visit that Lavenders
was the place for us. The level of care is absolutely exceptional, the biggest compliment I can give the manager is that her staff live and breathe their jobs, they are highly skilled in childcare and development and they are also really lovely people. My son is treated as an individual, his development is tailored to him and they not only care for him, they very much care about him. I feel very informed about his development through staff interaction and the online system.
He eats like a king and takes part in so many activities which challenge him physically and mentally - it's a surprise he actually wants to come home at the end of the day! Go and see them, it will blow you away.

This is a genuinely fantastic nursery. I moved my son from a previous nursery to be enrolled because he found it quite difficult at the previous nursery. He immediately took to this nursery and I put it down to the genuine care of the whole staff at the nursery. There was no crying or tantrums on dropping
him off in the mornings which I thought I would have a problem with. I felt he was very safe with them. We have been supported with the speech difficulty he encountered and we are very pleased.

Lavenders opened their doors for 2 hours on a Saturday, all families were invited and it was a fantastic day. They put on games, food and entertainment. The children loved it and it was a lovely way to spend time with other Mums and Dads. Carry on what you are doing guys, it is a great job and I cannot
rate you highly enough, the foundations you have laid for my son have been amazing.

I just wanted to say how pleased I am with daughters new key worker.


The observations she makes are detailed and genuinely describe her. They are not generic and I have noticed she has picked up on some behaviours my daughter does at home, which is comforting to know for two reasons;


1. My daughter

appears to be comfortable and
2. her key worker is aware and alert to her personality/behaviours


At collection, the key worker also gave me a lovely handover which accompanied by her observations are really lovely to have. I get a real sense of my daughter’s day or significant moments in it.


I would recommend this nursery to other parents.

Lavenders have looked after our son since he was 10 months old. They have always offered a very high level of care in all rooms he has attended. The transition between rooms has been very easy and we have always been given good support over potty training and other milestones. They offer a wide variety
of activities each day and their facilities are excellent.
